Abstract

Decision tree is one algorithm that is used to classify segmentation or grouping which is predictive, Decision Tree Algorithm has the Advantages in processing numerical (continuous) and discrete data, can handle missing attribute values, produces rules that are easily interpreted and the fastest among other algorithms. Prediction accuracy is the ability of the model to be able to predict class labels against new or previously unknown data well. In terms of speed or computational time efficiency needed to create and use a model. The application used is Tanagra because the application is available for Decision tree architecture.

Abstract

Data mining is a term used to describe knowledge discovery in a database or often called Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD). With the development of information at this time, the need for accurate information is needed in daily life, so that information will become an important element in the development of society today and the future. However, high information needs are sometimes not balanced by the presentation of adequate information, often the information must still be extracted from very large amounts of data. The ability of information technology to collect and store various types of data far leaves the ability to analyze, summarize and extract knowledge from data. Decision-makers try to utilize data warehouse that has been owned to dig up information that is useful to help make decisions, this encourages the emergence of new branches of science to overcome the problem of extracting information or patterns that are important or interesting from large amounts of data, which is called data mining. The use of data mining techniques is expected to provide knowledge previously hidden in the data warehouse so that it becomes valuable and useful information.

Abstract

Data compression is a process for converting an input data stream (original data) into another data stream in the form of output or other (compressed) streams that have a smaller size. One of the main functions of data compression is to reduce the file size by replacing characters that are generally 8 bits in size with shorter codes. In data compression, many algorithms can be used to process input into the desired output, so it must be considered aspects such as compression ratio, space-saving, and compression speed of each algorithm.

Abstract

The application of Run Length Encoding (RLE) algorithm in image compression cannot always reduce the size of the image compression results. Giving a Run sign or the number of pixels that have repeated succession can certainly change the size of the image file to be smaller, but very different from the repetitive image pixels but not sequential or not at all will certainly give a large size change in the file compression Image compression files that use Algorithm RLE in applications that are often used by users in general on computers can read image matrices. Thus RLE has a special ability to reduce image files from the others if there is a composition of the value of repetitive image pixels. And to decompress RLE to digital images is also very simple because the file type .rle has information on the order of matrix values consisting of two parts, the odd order is the pixel value for the image and while the even order is the value of the number of repeaters in the previous odd pixel value.

Abstract

The results of a photo either with a normal camera or a digital camera when taken from with high exposure to people, often produce red spots on the pupils of the term with the red-eye effect on digital photos. This of course causes the photos to be not good. With a particular software that functions as an image processor it can easily remove the red-eye just by using a tool called the red-eye effect that is reduced. So with this program the results of photos with a digital camera can be edited to eliminate the red-eye effect before printing. The red-eye effect is reduced using the intensity color checking algorithm in the process of replacing the red pixel images and then replacing them with grayish-black according to the resulting intensity process. Program that can reduce the red-eye effect with the intensity color checking algorithm by processing certain selected regions. The image results can then be printed or saved again in JPG format.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an Android-based information system application that is appealing, legitimate, practical, and effective in facilitating the registration process for new students in grades VII and X at Babul Futuh Islamic Boarding School at the beginning of the new academic year. The main objective of this application is to enhance the quality and efficiency of the New Student Admission (PPDB) process. This research will follow the waterfall or sequential linear development model, employing observation and interviews as data sources involving teachers, students, and registration committee members. Through this approach, the application will consider positive potentials, constraints, and opportunities to shape an efficient registration system. The research instrument consists of a questionnaire to be filled out by prospective students. It is expected that the outcomes of this research will yield an Android-based information system application that is appealing, legitimate, practical, and effective. This application is anticipated to strengthen communication between the boarding school's admission committee and prospective students during the registration process, ultimately leading to a positive assessment and supporting the growth of the boarding school in the future.

Abstract

The library, as an essential institution in education and knowledge, continually seeks innovation to enhance operational efficiency and visitor services. One technology that has garnered attention is Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). This research aims to identify the optimal design for book labeling in libraries by leveraging RFID systems. This technology offers a potential automation solution for processes like borrowing, returning, and inventory management of books. The implementation of RFID in libraries can yield significant benefits. Key advantages include increased efficiency in serving borrowers, reduced human errors in data recording, and the ability to gather accurate data for book collection analysis and borrowing trends. However, the implementation of RFID also involves several challenges, including initial implementation costs, integration with existing infrastructure, as well as privacy and data security aspects. Additionally, the reading range of the RFID RC522 sensor is limited to 10 cm, which can be reduced to 1 cm to 6 cm if obstructed by objects, and if obstructed by solid objects like metal, it might not be read even at a 1 cm distance due to thickness. A solution that can be employed is using a plastic cover for the sensor with a thickness that is not excessively high.

Abstract

Applications and websites that are free to access anywhere really help human life, for example they are used to place orders ranging from purchasing goods, delivery and delivery services. It is no exception in the field of tourism to make it easier for a person or group of people to get to tourist destinations more easily by using applications or websites we can get information regarding recommendations for tourist attractions. This website specifically aims to facilitate traveler users to travel to the tourist spots they want to go to. The limitation of this research is the creation of a blog website that provides information about tour packages using a visual code that will display an introduce page, a list of popular destinations and a list of tour and holiday packages.

Abstract

This article reviews the literature on online ordering systems for bakery websites. This article discusses the development of an online ordering system for bakery websites using qualitative research methodology. This paper proposes an e-commerce bakery system that allows bakery owners and customers to manage their daily activities in ordering online. The bakery's website serves as an online storefront, which allows customers to browse the bakery's products, place orders, and pay for them conveniently. This research concludes that an online ordering system is an effective way to allow customers to order their food online without the need to go to the store to buy it.

Abstract

As we know that the library is a place to maintain and improve the quality of education, because the management of library information systems that are carried out manually has many shortcomings in terms of retrieving borrower and return data, which makes students sometimes not get the books they want to borrow because they don't know information about the library when they come to the library. And also library administrators are overwhelmed in compiling and searching for borrower data while processing book return data, because the focus of the author's focus is to overcome the shortcomings contained in the library's manual information system, and keep up with the times by using technology utilization using a computer technology-based information system or CBIS (Computer Based Information System). The author takes the title "WEB-BASED SCHOOL LIBRARY INFORMATION SYSTEM" with the hope that through this web-based library information system can help students and also provide convenience for library administrators in managing and monitoring information about the library online.
