Abstract

Public economic policy is a crucial instrument in addressing various forms of market failure, such as negative externalities and income inequality. In this context, government intervention through taxation, subsidies, and redistribution serves as a strategic step to achieve a balance between economic efficiency and social equity. This article aims to examine the role of public economic policy in correcting the impact of externalities and reducing the gap in income distribution. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and literature study method, the results show that Pigovian taxes, subsidies for positive sectors, progressive tax systems, and data-based redistribution programs are key pillars in building a fairer and more inclusive economic system.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed consumer behavior in making purchasing decisions, including the increasing use of social media as a means of online shopping. This study aims to analyze the effect of live streaming and E-Wom on purchase intention of Skintific products through TikTok Shop with consumers attitude as a mediating variable. The population in this study were students in Solo City. The sample used and tested was 100 respondents, using the simple random sampling method to determine relevant respondents and tested using SPSS software. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire and the data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, f test, sobel test, and coefficient of determination test. The results of this study indicate that live streaming and consumers attitude have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, while E-Wom has no significant effect on purchase intention in purchasing Skintific products through the TikTok Shop application..

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in marketing strategies, including in the culinary industry such as coffee shops. This study aims to determine the effect of content marketing, social media marketing, and viral marketing on consumer purchasing decisions, with a case study on Cenklik Coffee. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method and data collection techniques through literature review. The results of this study are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of each digital marketing strategy in influencing consumer purchasing decisions. The findings of this study can be used by business actors, especially in the coffee shop sector, to design more effective and attractive digital marketing communication strategies. Data validity is guaranteed through triangulation from various sources such as Google Maps reviews and Cenklik Coffee social media content analysis. This study provides a practical contribution to business managers as well as a theoretical basis for further research in the fields of consumer behavior and digital marketing.

Abstract

Technology Information technology has an important role in supporting academic activities, including management of the KKN program. UIN Suska Riau has implemented the KKN Information System to facilitate student administration and monitoring. This research evaluates the effectiveness of the system using the COBIT 2019 framework, framework, focusing on domains APO07 (HR Management) and BAI01 (Program Management). Program). The evaluation results show that APO07 is at level 4 with an achievement of 77.99% (Largely Achieved), indicating that the process is structured but not fully optimized. but not yet fully optimized. While BAI01 reached level 5 with an achievement of 86.06% (Fully Achieved), indicating the process is sustainable and continues to be improved. to be improved. Based on these results, strategic recommendations were made to improve HR management and program effectiveness, to support more adaptive and aligned IT governance. Abstract

Digital transformation has fundamentally changed the marketing strategies of higher education institutions, requiring universities to adapt to increasingly fierce competition. This article aims to conceptually examine the role of digital marketing in shaping institutional image and increasing interest in enrollment, with a focus on Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai. The study was conducted through a qualitative descriptive conceptualization approach by reviewing literature and previous research results. The results of the study indicate that digital marketing makes a significant contribution to the formation of campus image through digital channels such as social media, websites, and visual content. As much as 57% of the data shows a strong correlation between digital marketing and institutional image, and 47% of the data shows a strong correlation with interest in enrollment. A consistent, interactive, and value-based digital communication strategy has been shown to strengthen brand awareness, increase audience engagement, and shape positive perceptions of the university. Therefore, digital marketing not only functions as a promotional tool, but also as a strategic instrument in building the competitiveness of higher education in the digital era.

Abstract

This study explores the case of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in Karangasem Village undergoing a transformation from offline to online business systems through the adoption of e-commerce in the digital era. The main issue examined is the limited market reach and lack of business innovation faced by local MSME actors, with the aim of exploring the digital transformation process and its impact on business development. A qualitative approach was employed, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving several MSME actors in the village. The findings indicate that the implementation of e-commerce has brought significant changes in marketing, distribution, and order management. However, challenges such as limited digital skills and inadequate internet infrastructure still persist. The synthesis of ideas reveals that technological training and collaboration among entrepreneurs are key factors for successful transformation. In conclusion, the business transformation of Karangasem Village MSMEs through e-commerce has great potential to enhance competitiveness, but requires continuous support to effectively adapt within the digital ecosystem.

Abstract

Business competition in the sea transportation sector requires companies to continue to innovate and improve operational efficiency in order to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. This study aims to provide the influence of service innovation and operational efficiency on customer satisfaction and remind him of customer loyalty at PT Balancia Ship Agency. Research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through questionnaires distributed to company customers. The analysis results show that both service innovations and operational efficiency have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is also proven to mediate the relationship between service innovation and operational efficiency of customer loyalty. This finding shows that efficient service and operational improvement strategies are very important in building long term relationships with customers, while increasing the competitiveness of the company in the shipping industry.

Abstract

Halal tourism has emerged as a rapidly growing market segment within the global tourism industry. However, its development often focuses primarily on fulfilling the basic needs of Muslim travelers, without sufficiently addressing broader sustainability considerations. This article aims to analyze both conceptual and practical literature related to the sustainable management of halal tourism, identify research gaps, and propose a comprehensive management model. Through a systematic review of relevant scholarly articles, key dimensions of sustainability—economic, social, environmental, and spiritual—are identified as essential components to be integrated into halal tourism development. The proposed model emphasizes the importance of stakeholder collaboration, the application of technology, and the preservation of Islamic values in creating authentic and responsible tourism experiences. This article contributes to a deeper understanding of how halal tourism can be managed sustainably to generate long-term benefits for communities, the environment, and the tourism industry.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the efforts in human resource (HR) planning and development to enhance productivity and work effectiveness at Suzuki Company, Sutomo Branch. Well-structured HR planning and competency development strategies are considered crucial factors in supporting the achievement of operational targets and improving overall company performance. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that continuous training programs, regular performance evaluations, and structured career management have a positive impact on employee motivation and operational efficiency. Therefore, focused and consistent HR planning and development are essential strategies for creating competitive advantages amidst the increasingly intense competition in the automotive industry.
