Abstract

This research focuses on the analysis of the business development strategy of Irhans Tailor, a local garment manufacturing MSME, using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach. Garment manufacturing MSMEs in Indonesia often face serious problems such as low levels of innovation, limited use of digital technology, and weak competitiveness in facing an increasingly competitive market. Although Irhans Tailor has a fairly stable local market share, this business still experiences obstacles in expanding its market reach, establishing sustainable customer relationships, and improving operational efficiency. This research was conducted through library research with a descriptive qualitative approach, which reviewed various relevant literature on business strategy, MSMEs, digitalization, and the implementation of BMC. The analysis results revealed that mapping the nine elements in the BMC provides a comprehensive overview of Irhans Tailor's business conditions and helps formulate a more targeted development strategy. Some recommended strategies include product diversification according to market needs, utilizing digitalization in marketing channels and ordering systems, collaborating with local communities to expand networks, increasing production process efficiency through operational innovation, and strengthening brand identity to build customer loyalty. Thus, this study confirms that BMC not only plays a role as a business analysis tool, but can also be used as a practical guide in forming a more innovative, adaptive to change, and long-term sustainability-oriented MSME business model.

Abstract

Planning and improving organizational performance is a crucial aspect in addressing the increasingly complex dynamics of business competition. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing organizational performance and effective planning strategies to enhance it. The method used is a literature review by analyzing 9 selected journal articles from 20 relevant references. The results show that organizational performance is influenced by several key factors, including human resource management, organizational structure, and financial aspects. Moreover, holistic, adaptive, and integrated strategic planning—combined with innovation and organizational learning—has proven to be significant in improving performance. This study also identified a research gap, specifically the lack of integration between strategic planning and external factors such as changes in the business environment. The practical implications highlight the importance of adopting a data-driven approach, involving all stakeholders, and implementing a continuous performance management cycle (planning, monitoring, reviewing, and rewarding). These findings contribute to the development of performance management theory and organizational practices in achieving strategic objectives.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the influence of psychological behavior, price, and product appearance on impulsive buying on the Shopee platform, with trends as an intervening variable. This research employs a quantitative approach and descriptive analysis techniques. The study sampled 71 respondents, consisting of students from the Digital Business program at Universitas Ngudi Waluyo, categorized as Generation Z, ranging from early to final semesters. A probability sampling technique, or random selection, was used. The data were processed and analyzed using partial test methods (t-test) and the Sobel test. The findings of this study reveal that : (i) psychological behavior influences trends; (ii) price influences trends; (iii) product appearance influences trends; (iv) psychological behavior influences impulsive buying; (v) price influences impulsive buying; (vi) product appearance influences impulsive buying; (vii) trends influence impulsive buying; (viii) trends mediate the effect of price on impulsive buying; (ix) trends mediate the effect of psychological behavior on impulsive buying; (x) trends mediate the effect of product appearance on impulsive buying.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the optimization of employee performance through the influence of organizational culture and work motivation, taking job satisfaction into account as a mediating variable. The research focuses on employees at the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia in Gorontalo Province, representing a public institution with high professional demands. The main issue addressed is the suboptimal employee performance despite the presence of established organizational cultural values and motivational efforts. A quantitative approach was employed using a causal explanatory design, involving the entire population of organic employees (n=35) as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results indicate that organizational culture does not significantly influence employee performance, either directly or through job satisfaction. In contrast, work motivation significantly affects job satisfaction but has no direct effect on performance. Job satisfaction is proven to fully mediate the relationship between work motivation and employee performance. These findings suggest that performance improvement cannot be achieved merely through cultural internalization or motivational efforts, but through the creation of work conditions that foster employees' psychological satisfaction. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of human resource management strategies focused on enhancing job satisfaction as a key to optimizing employee performance, while also contributing theoretically to the development of organizational behavior models in the public sector.

Abstract

The fourth industrial revolution encourages the use of disruptive technology in a variety of industries, including marketing. The study's goal is to investigate the potential, driving and hindering factors, as well as the impact of implementing disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, blockchain, and the internet of things (IoT) in the marketing industry. This study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the Population, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcome (PICO) approach, as well as the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analyses method, on literature or articles published between 2021 and 2025 that are relevant to the research title. According to the findings of the research, disruptive technology has a high potential for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing operational activities, as well as producing more individualized consumer services. However, resistance to technology use, limits in digital infrastructure, and privacy or data security concerns continue to be major barriers to the introduction of disruptive technologies. The findings of this study highlight the importance of companies being prepared in terms of human resources and technology so that the implementation of disruptive technology can best assist the company and help the company achieve a competitive advantage in the increasingly dynamic digital market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze corporate culture strategies in enhancing reliable and morally upright human resources at CV Rumah Mesin Yogyakarta. The research will examine the moral values applied at CV Rumah Mesin Yogyakarta and their impact on employee performance and quality. This study uses a qualitative case study method at CV Rumah Mesin Yogyakarta. Data is collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that corporate culture strategies can improve reliable and morally upright human resources. The corporate culture at CV Rumah Mesin Yogyakarta includes spirituality, solidarity, ethics, and a performance development system as key factors to enhance human resource competence. Based on interviews and observations, CV Rumah Mesin Yogyakarta places great emphasis on the quality of its human resources by providing continuous training and solidarity programs, such as Qur’an recitation, office cleaning, and sports activities for all employees. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the literature on human resource management and provide strategic guidance for service companies to increase their competitiveness through effective human resource development.

Abstract

This study explores strategic information system (IS) planning within a local cosmetics company facing the challenges of the digital era and global competition. The primary issues identified include the lack of integrated IT systems, limited digital infrastructure, and difficulty responding to rapid market dynamics. The aim is to develop an IS strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness. A qualitative case study approach is employed, utilizing the Ward and Peppard methodology to analyze both internal and external business environments. SWOT and Value Chain analyses are applied to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, while Five Forces and IS/IT environmental analysis support the development of targeted strategies. Key findings highlight significant potential in product innovation and digital marketing, yet stress the need for better-integrated IT systems, particularly in data management and business process efficiency. The final outcome includes recommended development of integrated IS solutions: sales systems, inventory tracking, cashier systems, and payroll applications, all prioritized using the McFarlan Strategic Grid. The study concludes that the Ward and Peppard method is effective in guiding companies to formulate adaptive, measurable, and sustainable IS strategies, equipping them to face future challenges in the cosmetics industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of communication and teamwork on employee performance at the Karawang Regency Communication and Informatics Office. The results of the observation show that one-way communication often occurs, hindering the delivery of information and affecting work effectiveness. In addition, the lack of teamwork causes delays in completing tasks and reduces employee performance. This study uses a quantitative method with a verification approach to measure and test the relationship between communication factors, teamwork, and employee performance significantly. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to Karawang Communication and Informatics Office employees. The results showed that internal communication and teamwork have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. These findings suggest that increasing positive internal communication and teamwork can substantially improve the performance of Karawang Communication and Informatics Office employees.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of green banking, bad debts on profit growth. This study uses secondary data and time series conducted on banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2022 to 2024. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, totaling 12 companies. Based on the results of the analysis that have been explained in the path coefficients table, it is known that the effect of green banking on profit growth is positive and insignificant where the original value of the calculated t value is 1.054 <t table 2.032 with a p-value or significant value of 0.142> 0.050, which shows that the first hypothesis that green banking has an effect on profit growth in banking listed on the IDX is rejected. Based on the results of the analysis that have been explained in the path coefficients table, it is known that the effect of bad debt on profit growth is positive and insignificant where the calculated t value is 1.648 <t table 2.032 with a p-value or significance of 0.109> 0.050, where this shows that the second hypothesis which says that bad debt has an effect on profit growth in banking listed on the IDX is rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how salary, facilities and work motivation affect employee performance. . Shopee Xpress Distribution Center (DC) Surabaya. This study adopts a survey approach through quantitative methods. A total of 57 respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique with certain criteria. The research tool being used is a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale and consists of 57 statements, covering four main variables: salary, facilities, work motivation and employee performance. Information obtained from the analysis using multiple linear regression. The study findings show that simultaneously, salary, facilities, and work motivation have a significant influence on employee performance. But partially, only salary shows a significant influence on performance, while facilities and work motivation do not have a significant influence. The coefficient of determination R² of 0.219 indicates that the three independent variables explain 21.9% of the variability in employee performance, while other factors outside this study affect the rest. This finding emphasizes that good compensation system management is very important to improve employee performance. in a logistics organization like Shopee Xpress
