Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, lifestyle, and income on the investment decisions of students of the Faculty of Economics of Sarjanawiyata University Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The research uses a quantitative approach with a causality design. The research population is all active students of the Faculty of Economics in the 2024/2025 academic year, with a sample of 93 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and convenience sampling techniques. The data was collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with classic assumption tests and hypothesis tests. The research results show that financial literacy, lifestyle, and income partially have a positive and significant effect on students' investment decisions. Financial literacy has the most dominant influence, followed by lifestyle and income. Simultaneously, these three variables have a significant effect on investment decisions with a determination coefficient value of 0.803, which means that 80.3% of the variation in investment decisions can be explained by the research model. This finding is in line with the Theory of Planned Behavior, which emphasizes the role of attitudes, subjective norms, and behavioral control in decision formation. This research emphasizes the importance of improving financial literacy, forming a rational lifestyle, and supporting the increase in student income to encourage early investment.

Abstract

Regional economic growth is a key indicator of development success aimed at improving public welfare. Bali Province generally demonstrates a positive trend in economic growth; however, it continues to experience disparities in growth among regencies and municipalities, where the Sarbagita area tends to grow more rapidly than other regions due to differences in economic structure and fiscal capacity. This condition indicates that the utilization of regional revenue sources has not been fully optimized to promote equitable economic growth. This study aims to analyze the effect of Regional Original Revenue (Pendapatan Asli Daerah/PAD), General Allocation Fund (Dana Alokasi Umum/DAU), and Special Allocation Fund (Dana Alokasi Khusus/DAK) on economic growth in regencies and municipalities in Bali Province during the period 2014–2024. The method employed is panel data regression analysis with a significance level of 5 percent. The results indicate that PAD, DAU, and DAK simultaneously have a significant effect on regional economic growth. Partially, PAD and DAU have a positive and significant effect on economic growth, while DAK does not show a significant effect, indicating that the utilization of DAK has not been optimal in stimulating regional economic activity. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening fiscal independence through the optimization of PAD, more effective and productive management of DAU, and improvements in the planning and implementation of DAK to ensure a tangible contribution to sustainable and equitable economic growth in Bali Province.

Abstract

The rapid digital transformation in the manufacturing sector, particularly in the garment industry, has intensified employees’ reliance on information and communication technologies, which may generate new psychological pressures known as technostress. This study aims to examine the effect of technostress on work stress and to investigate the mediating role of social support in this relationship. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data were collected through a structured questionnaire administered to 139 employees of a garment manufacturing company producing for international brands in Semarang, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and mediation testing. The results indicate that technostress has a positive and significant effect on work stress, while it negatively affects perceived social support. Furthermore, social support is found to have a significant negative effect on work stress and partially mediates the relationship between technostress and work stress. These findings suggest that technostress functions as a critical job demand that elevates employees’ psychological strain, whereas social support serves as a vital job resource that mitigates its adverse effects. The study contributes to the technostress and job demands–resources literature by providing empirical evidence from the manufacturing sector in a developing country context. Practically, the findings highlight the importance of strengthening social support mechanisms to reduce work stress in digitally intensive work environments.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of work discipline and competence on employee performance at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Baturaja Branch. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data was collected through a questionnaire that was distributed to 30 respondents who were active employees of the company. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression to determine the influence of independent variables on dependent variables. The results of the partial analysis showed that work discipline had a significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 4.728. Competency was also proven to have a significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 7.048 and a significance level of 0.000, which is smaller than α = 0.05. Simultaneously, work discipline and competence together had a significant effect on employee performance with an F score of 109,134. The value of the determination coefficient (R Square) of 0.890 indicates that 89.0% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by work discipline and competence, while the remaining 11.0% are influenced by other variables outside the study, such as motivation, job satisfaction, stress level, compensation system, and job design (Nurfitriani, 2022).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of overconfidence, herding behavior, and loss aversion on investment decisions. The sample in this study is Generation Z with an age range of 18–28 years in Denpasar City who have made investments, with a total of 110 respondents. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Squares (PLS) version 4 to test the relationship between research variables. The results of the study show that overconfidence has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions, herding behavior also has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions, and loss aversion has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. Based on the results of the study, researchers suggest that Generation Z in Denpasar City increase the intensity of evaluation and management of investment fund allocation, expand investment experience, improve investment literacy and knowledge, and conduct a more in-depth risk analysis so that investment decisions are more rational and optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of service quality, consumer experience, perceived security, and service satisfaction on tourist loyalty. The sample consisted of 170 respondents. Data analysis techniques included validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, the F-test, and the t-test. The results indicate that service quality has a positive and significant effect on tourist loyalty; consumer experience has a positive and significant effect on tourist loyalty; perceived security has a positive and significant effect on tourist loyalty; and service satisfaction has a significant effect on tourist loyalty. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the management of PT Caspla Bali at Sanur Harbor enhance staff competence and knowledge in serving tourists by providing regular training, consistently delivering services that meet or exceed promises made to tourists, and ensuring the availability of complete and modern safety equipment to increase tourist trust. Furthermore, continuous efforts should be made to improve service quality, consumer experience, perceived security, and service satisfaction in order to strengthen tourist loyalty.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the role of management control systems in improving cargo sales operations at PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Branch Office Semarang. The rapid growth of the air logistics industry requires airlines to enhance operational effectiveness, particularly in cargo sales, which represent a major source of company revenue. This article employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method. Data were collected from relevant and credible secondary sources, including scientific journals, academic books, previous research reports, and official company documents. Data analysis was conducted through content analysis and comparative analysis using thematic coding to identify key patterns and concepts related to management control systems and cargo sales operations. The findings indicate that management control systems play a crucial role in strengthening coordination among work units, improving performance monitoring mechanisms, and ensuring that cargo sales operations are aligned with established targets and procedures. Effective implementation of management control systems also contributes to increased operational productivity and supports the company’s competitiveness within the highly competitive air logistics industry.

Abstract

Digital transformation has significantly changed organizational management practices, particularly in technology Startup companies operating in Jakarta. Startups are required to adopt adaptive and flexible organizational structures to support rapid innovation and maintain competitiveness in the digital era. In this context, the organizing function plays a strategic role as it serves as the foundation for task distribution, authority delegation, and coordination among individuals and work teams. This article aims to analyze the implementation of the organizing function in talent management within technology Startup companies in Jakarta during the digital transformation era. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method, analyzing national and international journal articles, academic books, and relevant scientific publications related to organizing functions, talent management, and digital transformation. The findings indicate that technology Startups tend to implement flat organizational structures and cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration and operational efficiency. However, such flexibility also presents challenges, including role ambiguity and weak coordination if not supported by systematic organizing practices. Therefore, integrating organizing functions with strategic talent management is essential to support digital transformation and ensure sustainable organizational performance in technology Startups.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the Indonesian economy, particularly in job creation and improving community welfare. The rapid development of information technology in the digital era presents both opportunities and challenges for MSMEs in managing their businesses. The implementation of proper management is a crucial factor in improving MSME performance and competitiveness in an increasingly competitive business environment. This study aims to analyze the implementation of management functions, including planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling, in MSMEs in the digital era. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature study, by reviewing various books, scientific journals, and regulations related to management and MSMEs. The results indicate that the implementation of management in MSMEs in the digital era has not been optimal. This can be seen from weak business planning, unclear division of tasks, and simple control systems. However, the use of digital technology such as social media and online marketplaces has had a positive impact on MSME development. With proper management implementation and optimal utilization of digital technology, MSMEs are expected to improve business performance and ensure business sustainability.

Abstract

The implementation of information technology in outpatient healthcare administration has become a strategic approach to improving service efficiency and quality in healthcare facilities. Administrative processes that are still managed manually often lead to various problems, including long waiting times, data recording errors, and service delays. This study aims to comprehensively review the application of information technology in outpatient healthcare administration based on previous scholarly studies. This research employs a literature review method by examining national and international journal articles, books, and relevant policy documents. Literature searches were conducted through several online databases using specific inclusion criteria and analyzed through thematic analysis and narrative synthesis. The findings indicate that the use of information technology, such as electronic registration systems, electronic medical records, and healthcare management information systems, significantly improves administrative efficiency, data accuracy and integration, and managerial decision-making. Furthermore, information technology contributes to higher patient satisfaction and improved outpatient service performance. However, several challenges remain, particularly related to human resource readiness, infrastructure availability, and data security issues. Therefore, strong policy support, continuous capacity building, and systematic evaluation are required to ensure the optimal implementation of information technology in outpatient healthcare administration.
