<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of Ice Breaking on the Learning Activeness of Christian Religious Education (PAK) of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 Academic Year." The hypothesis of this research is that there is a positive and significant influence of Ice Breaking on the learning activeness of class VIII PAK students at SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon, North Tapanuli district for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research is correlational research that uses inferential quantitative methods. The population is all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon who are Protestant Christians, totaling 190 people. Sample Based on Random Sampling of Class VIII Students of Sipoholon State Middle School, 15% of 190 students were taken, namely 30 people. The instrument for this research is a closed questionnaire with 34 items. The questionnaire trial was carried out on 29 students outside the research respondents. "The results of the analysis of the values rcount=0.745>rtabel=0.361 and tcount=5.909>2.048 show that there is an influence between Ice Breaking on the Learning Activeness of Christian Religious Education (PAK) of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon in the 2023/2024 Academic Year." Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=5.994>Ftable=2.16. This research concludes that there is a positive and significant influence between Ice Breaking on the Learning Activeness of Christian Religious Education (PAK) of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 Academic Year" amounting to 55.5%, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In connection with the results of this research, the author provides input for PAK teachers to increase the use of Ice Breaking with students so that student activity increases.]]>

<![CDATA[The Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5 also expressed his belief regarding life after death for believers. The author can conclude that life after death is a better and happier life for those who believe. In Toba Batak society, the belief that the Tondi (spirit) of people who have experienced death is still connected with humans who are still alive in the world emphasizes that death is not the end, but rather the beginning of a meaningful spiritual journey. Traditional ceremonies and care for ancestral relics are a form of respect for life after death in Toba Batak culture. Literature study is the method used in this research.]]>

<![CDATA[The article focuses on the importance of children's ministry in the perspective of matthew 19:13-15. This article discusses the background to the importance of service in the church, especially service to children as an integral part of church work. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach by analyzing library sources and describing the results systematically. The discussion of this article covers two main aspects: first, christ-centered children's ministry, which emphasizes the importance of treating children's ministry seriously and appreciating the importance of children in the kingdom of heaven. Second, a discussion of building faith in children's ministry, which includes the responsibility of the church and adults to develop character and build a solid foundation of faith for future generations. The conclusion emphasizes that children's ministry is not just an additional task in the church, but the core of the church's mission that must be prioritized. By paying attention to the strategic role of children's ministry, churches can effectively strengthen the foundations of faith and morality for future generations.]]>

<![CDATA[Elderly Catholics are an important part of the church community who require special attention as they face physical health challenges, emotional needs, and spiritual aspects that require special care. This article discusses the role of pastoral care in dealing with these challenges by promoting a meaningful quality of life for Catholic elderly. The method used in discussing this topic is a literature study. The pastoral role in encouraging the quality of life of elderly Catholics includes spiritual assistance, moral guidance, community services, counseling and emotional support, as well as education and coaching. Through this holistic approach, Catholic elderly can feel God's love and community support both physically and spiritually so that Catholic elderly live a more meaningful life.]]>

<![CDATA[Human survival depends on maintaining the balance of the ecosystem. The government and the community must work together in terms of land clearing that occurs continuously which makes living things lose their homes. By maintaining and preserving nature as well as possible, Christians who understand the importance of this should be a driving force in the preservation of nature and the environment which is also written in Genesis 2:15. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The research approach used to understand complex and contextual phenomena by delving into the meanings, experiences, and views of individuals or groups. Theological reflection based on Genesis 2:15 on how to live in harmony with nature offers deep insights into human responsibility for the environment. It is the foundation for a sustainable future, where humans can live in harmony with their environment, maintain the balance of the ecosystem, and ensure well-being for all living beings.]]>

<![CDATA[The focus of this study is to understand the Book of Canon Law as the internal legal basis of the Catholic Church which regulates ecclesiastical governance and discipline. In the context of its place, the Book of Canon Law has a central role as an instrument that regulates various aspects of ecclesiastical life, from hierarchical organization to liturgy. Its role extends beyond administrative boundaries, making it an important guide in carrying out pastoral duties and maintaining ecclesiastical discipline. The role of the Book of Canon Law is not only limited to internal ecclesiastical aspects, but also influences the church's relationship with wider society. This book reflects the role of the church in regulating the spiritual and moral life of Catholics and maintaining doctrinal integrity. The function of the Code of Canon Law is also to facilitate conflict resolution and uphold justice among church members. The author uses descriptive analysis methods and the Book of Canon Law as a scalpel to explain the contents of the article that will be discussed. In the midst of dynamic social and cultural change, the Code of Canon Law becomes relevant in interpreting and applying moral and ethical principles, which are appropriate in the contemporary context. The harmony between these principles and the challenges of modern times is an integral part of the role and function of the Code of Canon Law in maintaining the identity and mission of the Catholic Church.]]>

<![CDATA[This research analyzes the role of priests in social dialogue related to the implementation of the Public Housing Savings Program (TAPERA) in Riam Batang Parish and its impact on the lives of the people. TAPERA, as an Indonesian government initiative, aims to facilitate livable house ownership for low-income people through savings and financing schemes. In Riam Batang Parish, priests not only function as spiritual leaders, but also as facilitators of social dialogue and agents of change. This research uses a qualitative approach with case studies, collecting data through in-depth interviews with priests and congregation. The research results show that imams play a key role in increasing people's awareness and understanding of TAPERA, as well as helping overcome bureaucratic and economic obstacles. The Imam plays an active role in providing education and outreach regarding this program, helping the congregation access its benefits, and being a mediator between the congregation and government agencies. However, several challenges such as lack of understanding of the people, complicated administrative processes, and economic limitations are still significant obstacles. This research highlights the importance of effective social dialogue built by priests in supporting the implementation of TAPERA, as well as the need for collaboration between the church, government and local communities to overcome these challenges. Thus, the role of the priest in a social and economic context becomes essential in improving the welfare of the people and achieving the goals of a more inclusive and sustainable public housing program.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the influence of pastoral care on the involvement of people in diaconal duties. The research method used is a qualitative method through in-depth interviews with several sources involved in diakonia tasks. The research results show that pastoral care has a significant role in increasing people's awareness of the call to serve, providing the skills and knowledge needed to carry out diaconal duties effectively. Pastoral care acts as the main bridge in carrying out Christ's mission to gather those who need service. Through pastoral care, people feel restored in their faith, receive spiritual and practical support, and become involved in church services. Although this goal is sometimes difficult to achieve, pastoral care can increase people's involvement in diaconal duties with direct impacts in the form of growth in faith, new awareness, personality development, and optimism in living life. However, the influence of pastoral care on community involvement is not yet visible, because there are other influencing factors. Suggestions from this research are the need to further increase people's understanding of pastoral care, strengthen personal relationships between pastors and people, and develop spiritual education programs to understand the importance of diakonia and encourage active involvement in church services.]]>
