Abstract

In this era of globalization, villages should contribute to developing digitalization for the advancement of villages and making smart villages. Through thematic real-work lectures (KKNTs), the Digital Education program provides guidance and training to the managers of tourist attractions, villas and homestays regarding Digital Education in marketing places or tourist objects so that they can be accessed in social media. In addition, students also provide a digital education work shop with the theme “how to make a good content” with the community as a respondent that can be applied in the management of tourist attractions that exist in the village of Taro. The method used in the digital education program is starting from preparing places and equipment for the work shop of digital education. By bringing in sources that are experts in the field of digitalization as well as preparing some consumption for respondents. Activities included the implementation of digital marketing work shop, making promotional videos at several tourist attractions and home stays, making video promotional Taro tourist village, as well as taking some photos of Taro home stay and tourist objects.

Abstract

The program of teaching elementary school students is one of the efforts by students to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education by contributing to the community. Triatma Mulya University organizes activities in Cemagi Village, Badung Regency, Bali, with the theme "Development of Community-Based Village Potential Towards a Smart Village", focusing on the Elementary School Teaching Program towards a Smart Village, particularly in building an excellent generation through quality education. Through qualitative descriptive methods, students are involved in teaching elementary school students at several schools, such as TK Waruna Kumara 1 Cemagi, SD Negeri 1 Cemagi, and SMA Negeri 2 Mengwi. This activity not only emphasizes academic aspects but also stimulates students' creativity through activities such as coloring competitions. The organization of a Seminar on Tips for Continuing to Higher Education for High School Students at SMA Negeri 2 Mengwi is also part of this activity, providing information and guidance to students about higher education. The success of this activity is evident from the participation that exceeds the target and the enthusiasm of students in participating in the activities. Overall, the activities in Cemagi Village not only benefit the local community but also provide a platform for students to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired and contribute positively to community development as a whole.

Abstract

Aan Village with their three main tourist attractions, including the Secret Waterfall, Petapan Park with its bathing garden, and Bukit Kembar, the potential twin hills. Visitors who have enjoyed climbing down the waterfall cliff feel thirsty and hungry, but the warung (cafee) in the object has not provided food for foreign guests need. Even though guests are satisfied with the beauty and uniqueness of the object, the food provided at the object is very limited and it is difficult for guests to enjoy it. Therefore, it is seemed necessary to hold cooking class training that focuses on western food as a solution to avoid guest disappointed. The team took coordination with the object management, Pokdarwis and the PKK women's group for the implementation of the training which was determined to be held at the Aan village traditional hall. Activities are carried out in 4 stages, namely the preparation stage, cooking demonstration, assistance and enjoying the dishes. The participants were very enthusiastic in participating in each stage. This cooking demonstration training activity is a form of support in optimizing the tourist village and the contribution of the students of Faculty of Business and Tourism Triatma Mulya University who took KKNT in Aan village. The training on making dishes with the theme Western Dishes aims to provide knowledge of western cuisine menus, presentation skills, and as a business opportunity for PKK women’s group in Aan village. With the full attention given, the team believed that participants will be able to absorb knowledge, skills and apply them to their respective families. Moreover, the team shared cooking tips and responded well to each of the participants' questions. At the end of the activity, the head of Aan PKK women’s group expressed her happiness over this activity and hoped that similar training activities could be hold then.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the socialization and training activities on homestay accommodations in Belumbang Village, Kerambitan Sub-district, Tabanan Regency. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including participatory observation and structured interviews with participants and program organizers. The findings indicate that the socialization and training activities successfully enhanced the community's understanding of the concept and practice of homestay accommodation. Active participation from the community in these activities also strengthened the relationship between local government and the local community. However, challenges remain in the program's implementation, such as the need for further support in homestay management and marketing. This study concludes that socialization and training activities are a positive first step in developing the tourism potential of Belumbang Village, but continuous efforts are needed to ensure the sustainability and success of the homestay program in the future.

Abstract

The Thematic Social Services is one of students' sercices to the community to implement the Tri Darma of Higher Education by doing certain contributions to society. Triatma Mulya University held social services program in some villages in Bali and one of them done in Aan Village, Banjarangkan District, Klungkung Regency, Bali for 5 weeks from 08 January 2024 to 06 February 2024 with the theme "Community-Based Village Potential Development towards Smart Village". One of the sub-themes promoted is "Teaching Elementary Level Students", in order to build bright generation that has competencies according to the needs of tourist villages, including the ability to master English. English language teaching is carried out at both SD Negeri 1 Aan and SD Negeri 2 Aan. This teaching program not only focuses on academic aspects, but also stimulates student creativity through a program of modifying texts according to actual conditions as well as producing similar text. The success of the teaching program can be seen from the participation and enthusiasm of students in participating in each activity. In general, the Aan Village KKNT program not only provides benefits to the local community, but also becomes a forum for the team to implement knowledge and skills in working together and coordinating with stakeholders as a form of positive contribution to overall community development.

Abstract

Waste management is a major concern in many areas. The residents of Belumbang Village have limited knowledge regarding waste and its management. Insufficient supporting facilities exacerbate this issue, resulting in a significant annual budget for waste collection. Therefore, it is crucial to foster awareness among residents to avoid indiscriminate waste disposal and educate them on waste segregation. Stemming from these challenges, this KKNT activity aims to provide solutions by educating the community on the importance of maintaining cleanliness, segregating organic and inorganic waste, and utilizing waste to create economic value. The outputs of this activity include awareness-raising signboards and the provision of segregated trash bins. The method used is qualitative, with activities involving observation and interviews with the village head regarding the waste issues in Belumbang. The results of this KKNT activity indicate increased community awareness of cleanliness, enhanced understanding of independent waste segregation, and knowledge of its benefits.

Abstract

The development of natural tourism also has great prospects in the future. This is supported by the social media trend that is currently developing among young people. The rapid trend of social media today means that the flow of information is also moving very quickly. One of the areas that is still rarely visited even though it is an interesting tourist attraction on the island of Bali is Duda Timur Village, which is located in Karangasem Regency. Some of the natural attractions that Duda Timur village has are, Jagasatru waterfall, Brahma statue, Putung hill, Beji Dedari and take a sip. The aim of this activity is to introduce the tourist attractions of the village to tourists. The tourism village digitalization program through making promotional videos in the form of a 360 virtual tour was carried out by taking pictures and videos at Jagasatru and Beji Dedari Waterfalls, then students and KKNT accompanying lecturers implemented it on social media such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and websites.

Abstract

Teaching activities are carried out at SD Negeri 5 Duda Timur Karangasem Regency. Teaching activities are one of the activities that must be carried out by Triatma Mulya University students. Teaching activities carried out include the preparation stage, teaching practice, and analysis of results. Some of the teaching preparations carried out include consultation activities with supervising teachers regarding student conditions and potential, supporting facilities in Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM), and also inhibiting factors that are often encountered when Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) take place and direct observation. In this case, before carrying out teaching activities, students made observations of learning activities at SD N 5 Duda Timur. The teaching practice was carried out from January 14, 2024, to January 19, 2024. After carrying out the teaching practice, the results were that the students of SDN 5 Duda Timur, on average, had good seriousness in learning, especially in learning basic English, recognizing colors, and it was hoped that all the learning that had been carried out can be widely useful for students at SDN 5 Duda Timur.

Abstract

This community training and mentoring program aims to improve participants' skills and knowledge in various fields, such as technical expertise, entrepreneurship and interpersonal skills. Participants will be involved in training and mentoring. This community training and mentoring program aims to encourage participants to make positive contributions to society through real action. Participants will be involved in projects designed to meet local community needs, such as environmental, educational or infrastructure development projects. Through this training and mentoring, participants are expected to be able to apply the skills and knowledge they gain during the training to have a real positive impact on society and build stronger relationships between communities. Activities during training programs and community service include: Gardening, harvesting snake fruit, cleaning areas around the houses of underprivileged residents, making canang for praying, looking for firewood, farming such as planting rice in rice fields, training tour guides to start a career in tourism and domestic violence seminars Tour guide training and domestic violence seminars provide opportunities for young people to continue their careers who will enter the world of tourism and can develop tourism in their villages. The Domestic Violence Seminar provides an understanding regarding harmony in the family for both family members and prospective new families.

Abstract

The community training and mentoring program is an activity that consists of two activities, namely training and mentoring the local community. Community training is one of the outreach activities in order to empower the community, especially to improve the knowledge, attitudes and skills of village communities. Community mentoring is an activity aimed at carrying out development and empowerment of village communities. This program aims to provide guidance to the community to form independent community groups. Therefore, the role of students is needed through the Triatma Mulya University KKNT program to carry out community training and mentoring programs in Taro village. In the Taro village community training and mentoring program in the context of implementing the University's KKNT Triatma Mulya, which has been implemented by KKNT students, includes two main programs, namely front office and housekeeping training. This training program was attended by management representatives from all homestays in Taro village. The method used in this program is the observation method, namely through observation, accompanied by notes on the condition or behavior of the target object. The activity ran well and smoothly, successfully providing material that was easy for the invitees to understand and also succeeded in attracting the enthusiasm of the invitees to participate. come and participate in the training program.
