Abstract

Bahasa merupakan alat komunikasi sosial berupa sistem simbol bunyi yang dihasilkan dari ucapan manusia. Seiring dengan berkembangnya zaman, setiap manusia menginginkan kemampuan untuk menguasai lebih dari satu bahasa. Sesuai data yang telah didapatkan dilihat masyarakat Gorontalo memiliki minat yang cukup tinggi untuk belajar bahasa asing maupun mengikuti tes bersertifikat akan tetapi di Kota Gorontalo terdapat beberapa lembaga yang tidak melengkapi syarat baik dari segi bangunan maupun fasilitas. Atas dasar kebutuhan tersebut, tujuan dari perancangan Pusat Pelatihan Bahasa Asing di Kota Gorontalo yaitu mampu mewadahi dengan baik seluruh kegiatan untuk mewujudkan keberhasilan dalam belajar bahasa asing. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Pada tahapan proses pembuatan konsep perancangan ini menggunakan metode brainstorming dan akan memperoleh output berupa beberapa konsep perancangan. Pendekatan rancangan yang digunakan adalah semiotika arsitektur yang memiliki arti untuk mengajak masyarakat memahami makna arsitektur dalam suatu bangunan dengan cara berkomunikasi sehingga bertujuan untuk mewujudkan suasana berbahasa asing dalam interior maupun eksterior. Melalui hasil dari analisis serta konsep yang telah diolah sedemikian rupa dapat mewujudkan bangunan Pusat Pelatihan Bahasa Asing di Kota Gorontalo dengan pendekatan semiotika arsitektur

Abstract

The convection industry in Indonesia faces challenges in improving efficiency and productivity, especially in the work process of sewing machine operators. This research aims to design tools that can improve operator performance using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. The QFD method was chosen because of its ability to identify and translate user needs into appropriate design specifications. Deanisa Sport Convection is a business engaged in the production of clothing, including office uniforms, school uniforms, alma mater jackets, and training sets. From the results of preliminary observations in the field, defective products produced from convection are still quite a lot in the period 2023 to 2024. There are many products that experience defects including errors in the sewing process. The data obtained is then analyzed and mapped into a QFD matrix, which connects user needs with the technical characteristics of the tools to be designed. The final design of the resulting tool is expected to increase operator comfort and productivity, and reduce product defects during the production process. By using the QFD method in designing assistive devices for sewing machine operators, it can produce product designs that meet the needs of sewing operators and have optimal features.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the optimal inventory control method used by the Sumber Bangunan Jaya Gorontalo Store by comparing the policies implemented by the company with three inventory methods, namely Economic Order Quantity, Periodic Order Quantity and Just In Time. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, documentation and interviews. The data analysis methods used in this research are EOQ formula, Safety Stock, Reorder Point, POQ Formula and Just In Time Formula. The research results show that the EOQ and JIT systems are more efficient compared to the company inventory system and POQ

Abstract

Road Tambak is the name of one of the roads in Central Jakarta, especially in the Manggarai area. road Tambak and Jalan Pemuda are two roads that connect each other. The pond road connects South Jakarta, Central Jakarta and East Jakarta by passing through Pramuka Road and crossing Jalan Matraman Raya and also Jalan Jendral Ahmad Yani. These two roads often experience traffic jams or delays during rush hours, which makes researchers want to conduct research on these two roads. The aim of this research is to find out what the traffic performance is like on Tambak Road and Pramuka Road and also to find out what factors cause delays on these two roads. Research data collection carried out from April 22 to May 3 2024 was in the form of data on vehicle speed, traffic volume, travel time and road capacity. From the results of this data collection, it was obtained that the longest travel time occurred on April 22 2024. And from the overall travel time data obtained by researchers, it can be concluded that the longest travel time with the most delays occurred on Friday, April 26 2024, precisely at 16.00-20.00 WIB. With a total time traveled of 1:07:55 seconds at vehicle speed the lowest was 16 km/hour, while the highest traffic volume occurred on May 3 2024 at 07.00 – 08.00 in the direction of Arion mall with a total of 3470 vehicles passing on the road section studied.

Abstract

The current development of educational institutions in the health sector still does not meet the number of health workers required. The way to get professional health workers is through formal education, which requires a higher education institution in the health sector in the form of a College of Health Sciences. The Bakti Nusantara Gorontalo Health Sciences College or STIKES BAKTARA Gorontalo is a form of secondary school from the Bakti Nusantara Gorontalo Health Vocational School. Currently, the Bakti Nusantara College of Health Sciences campus building still uses the Gorontalo Health Vocational School building as a place for lectures and administration activities. The condition of facilities and infrastructure to support the lecture process is limited, such as a lack of staff space to support administration, laboratory space to support learning and research infrastructure and classrooms to accommodate all STIKES BAKTARA Gorontalo students, while the number of students is increasing every year. Based on data from STIKES BAKTARA Gorontalo, in 2020 and 2021 the number of STIKES BAKTARA Gorontalo students experienced a significant increase, namely from 243 to 284 students. This causes the capacity to no longer match the number of students. The design of the College of Health Sciences in Gorontalo uses problem solving and programmatic methods with several stages such as describing the problem, formulating a solution and outlining the appropriate results and concepts. The design theme applied is tropical architecture with the aim of creating a building that can adapt to the climate conditions in Indonesia, namely the tropical climate, thereby creating comfort for its users.

Abstract

Alumni merupakan salah satu elemen penting dalam mendukung kemajuan dan evaluasi kualitas pendidikan di sekolah. Namun, pengelolaan data alumni di SMK Negeri 1 Pemulutan masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga menyulitkan proses pelacakan jejak lulusan (tracer study) yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk keperluan evaluasi, akreditasi, dan pengembangan kurikulum. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem informasi alumni berbasis web yang dilengkapi dengan fitur tracer study guna mempermudah pihak sekolah dalam mengelola dan memantau keberadaan serta aktivitas alumni. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode Waterfall, yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework Laravel, dan database MySQL. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi alumni berbasis web yang dapat digunakan oleh alumni untuk mengisi data tracer study dan memperbarui profil, serta oleh pihak sekolah untuk mengelola data alumni, melihat laporan tracer study, dan mencetak laporan. Dengan adanya sistem ini, proses pelacakan alumni menjadi lebih efisien, data lebih akurat, dan hubungan antara alumni dan sekolah dapat terjaga dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of architectural design on user behavior in the Civil Engineering Laboratory Building and Buildings C2 and C3 at the Faculty of Engineering, Gorontalo State University. Data were collected through direct observation, site surveys, and interviews with space users. The results showed that space design, considering thermal comfort, circulation layout, and social spaces, significantly influenced students' academic and social behaviors. However, challenges such as limited social spaces and inadequate ventilation systems affected comfort and interaction. The study also provides recommendations to improve design, such as adding green elements, expanding social spaces, and optimizing ventilation systems. These changes are expected to create a more sustainable environment, support better social interactions, and increase user productivity.
