Academica: Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal published by Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Mas Said Surakarta. First launched in 2017, Academica is issued biannually (January–June and July–December). The journal publishes original research articles addressing contemporary social issues, based on both fieldwork and textual studies. Contributions are reviewed from various disciplinary perspectives, including: Philosophy, Law, Islamic Studies, Anthropology, Economics, Education, Psychology, Communication, Sociology, Culture and Local Wisdom. <![CDATA[There are many service models with various types of programs to improve the quality of life for mental patients. Rehabilitation centers already exist in various Indonesian cities with their social workers trying to implement therapy programs for healing and improving the quality of life for ODGJ patients. Therefore, the researcher wants to analyze in more detail what service programs are provided by social workers in rehabilitation places which will later be used as a reference material for social workers, the general public, counselors, psychologists, and academics. The method used by researchers is to use a library research method or approach (library research) or literature study where the researcher collects library data, then reads and studies to find research material. Research result. <![CDATA[The quantity and quality of a person, including indicators of the value of Islamic education, is a significant development and becomes the basis for mental development in order to provide educational output in accordance with the expectations of the wider community. This is what shapes the personality of each individual with moral, ethical, and cultural values. On social media, researchers see creativity on YouTube channels with an entertaining genre. Therefore, the authors found the Polisi Motret channel with library research methods with entertaining genres but that do not abandon Islamic educational values. <![CDATA[This research was conducted to find out how many followers of the Paguyuban Ngesti Tunggal believe in the existence of religion or just as a formality, and also to find out the flow of someone who follows the Paguyuban Ngesti Tunggal. The method that I use in this research is by interviewing direct respondents who are competent in the field of paguyuban Ngesti Tunggal. The conclusions are of followers of the Paguyuban Ngesti Tunggal are that the followers of the Paguyuban Ngesti Tunggal are their own uniqueness where Pangestu is a pure organization, not a group of followers of belief or religion. Therefore, Pangestu members carry out worship in accordance with their respective teachings. <![CDATA[Academic stress is a condition due to an imbalance of the desired situation with the physiological, psychological, and social system of students, so the problem of academic stress must be resolved immediately. This study aims to determine the causal factors and students’ strategies in reducing the threat that burdens them due to stress in the Covid-19 pandemic era. The research subjects were three students of class XII. The results of this study indicate that the three students have similar coping strategies. Problem focused coping are manifested through planful problem solving and seeking social support. While emotion focused coping through positive reappraisal and self control. Then, the researchers identified another form of coping strategy in one of the subjects, namely religious coping in the form of tawakal and qanaah.Keywords: academic stress; coping strategy; Covid-19; high school student]]>

<![CDATA[In the difficult conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, people tend to experience anxiety. Anxiety is worrying about things out of control in the future. In anxiety management, there are three kinds of techniques, namely emotional regulation, cognitive behavioral techniques, and relaxation. Emotional regulation is a technique for balancing emotional states by changing the way emotions are expressed. CBT is a technique in which an individual's behavior and emotions can be controlled through a process of learning (cognition) and habituation (behavior). Finally, relaxation is a condition of resting the body by stretching, breathing, and taking a comfortable position so that the mind becomes calm and stable so that individuals can respond to these difficult conditions wisely. <![CDATA[This research aims to find out the factors of online food purchasing decisions in young Muslims as a productive age group of internet users in Indonesia. This sample of research is a student of the Islamic Institute of Surakarta State. Then the study analyzed how halal awareness, curiosity, lifestyle, promotion, favorites, packaging, price and taste affect them in online purchases. The research method used is a mixture of quantitative and qualitative data. The source of this research data is obtained through the dissemination of questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with scoring analysis methods by rating the answers of respondents and drawing statement conclusions from interview answers. The results of this study make halal awareness a priority factor in making online purchases in order of halal awareness priorities; lifestyle; taste; packaging; curiosity; favorites; price; advertising and the majority of IAIN Surakarta students some 642 respondents noticed aspects of product halalness in online food purchases.Keywords: Purchasing Decision Factors; Food; Online Purchase; Muslim Millennial ]]>

<![CDATA[Character education is an important thing for individuals that must be instilled since childhood. The practice of cultivating character education during the pandemic Covid-19 is entirely borne by parents. This study aims to determine the strategies used by parents in cultivating children’s character education during the pandemic Covid-19. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach and phenomenological methods. Data collection tecniques through observation and structured interviews. <![CDATA[Education is a basic right for every citizen, including children with special needs who need guidance from people who are experts in their fields. During the pandemic, children were required to study at home with guidance from their parents. The purpose of this study was to find out the model of parental learning guidance for children with special needs during the pandemic. This research uses a case study method and data collection using interviews with thematic analysis.
