Academica: Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal published by Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Abstract

Along with the development of science and technology, people start inventing many ways to interact. Presently, there have been created various many types of media in helping their communication activity, one of them is Instagram. This paper aimed to analyze the language styles used in NetflixId Instagram posts caption to interact with their audiences. This research is qualitative research and the data were collected by time-stamp from 8th August-31st August 2021. The researcher used a theory from Martin Joos (1976) about types of language styles. The results showed that there were 4 types of language styles that used in NetflixId Instagram account, they are: formal style (9 data), consultative (20 data), casual (61 data) and intimate (2 data). The caption dominantly used casual language style in writing their Instagram captions as a tool to interact with their audiences.Keywords: Instagram Caption; Language Style; NetflixId

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on motor vehicle taxpayer compliance in the Solo Raya area. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques through interviews using primary data and data analysis techniques by means of structrured respondent interviews. Respondents in this study were motorized vehicle taxpayers in the Solo Raya area. The conclusion from the results of this study shows that the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the weakening of the community's economy which causes a decrease in the level of taxpayer compliance in paying motor vehicle taxes and there are people who do not pay motorized vehicle tax. However, most taxpayers still pay motor vehicle taxes on time.Keywords: Taxes; Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic; Taxpayer Compliance; Motor Vehicle Taxes.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused economic shocks that have had an impact on the global economy from the macro level to the global micro level. This pandemic has also dictated many economic and political policies, for example, layoffs and stay-at-home rules during this pandemic. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of online marketing to increase company revenue; Identify factors that influence online marketing strategies; and Provide alternative recommendations in online marketing strategies to be applied in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). While the method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. This study establishes that social media is an effective marketing medium to promote MSME products, then the types of social media, product types and target markets are linear and empirical, meaning that each type has its own treatment and approach. specific one. The results of this study indicate that marketing strategy using social media is an effective way to maintain and increase the profit of MSME business results during the Covid-19 pandemic and this is line with social media theory.Keywords: MSMEs; Social Media; Promotional Mix; Target Market

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain and analyze Islamic Fintech P2P Lending contracts in Indonesia. This research method is using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using literature study. The data validity technique of this research uses data triangulation techniques. The results of this study are an explanation and analysis of the contracts used in Islamic Fintech P2P Lending in Indonesia. The conclusion of this study is the advantages and disadvantages of Islamic Fintech P2P Lending contracts. This research provides a solution related to the shortcomings that exist in Islamic Fintech P2P Lending contracts. Abstract

The problem in this study is the use of code mixing in the WhatsApp group of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta students. This study aims to describe the use of code mixing in WhatsApp groups by students of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. The approach used in this research is qualitative. The data source in this study was a conversation between students of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta in one of the WhatsApp group forums. The data collection technique used in this study is the technique of observation and interviews with conversations conducted by students of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta in one of the WhatsApp group forums. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the use of code mixing in WhatsApp groups by students of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta tends to be often used for the reasons; to be more efficient, to emphasize something, to mention identity, and also to not have the right equivalent. The results of this study can be useful as knowledge about the use and purpose of code mixing in WhatsApp groups of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta students and as a reference for future research.Keywords: Code mixing; Undergraduate student; WhatsApp

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the behavior of the millennial generation in making stock investment decisions during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research subjects were four people who were included in the millennial generation category who were under 30 years old and domiciled in Solo Raya. The results of this study indicate that the behavior of investors in making stock investment decisions is based on the declining stock price trend due to the Covid-19 pandemic, influenced by the herding bias factor, namely following the actions or suggestions of others, but also analyzing the company's performance by looking at its financial statements.Keywords: Covid-19; Investor Behavior; Investment Decisions; Millenial Generation

Abstract

This research was conducted to know the activities of social media users. Nowadays, social media or social media has a significant influence on the level of people's lives from the age of children to adults, inseparable from the existence of social media, not using the TikTok application. Researchers conducted interviews and documentation to produce objective data using a virtual ethnographic approach, this method became a reference for analyzing netizen responses (TikTokers) related to Islamic da'wah content through the TikTok platform which is a form of cyber activity. Writing data analyzed qualitatively. From the results of reading comments on posts by TikTok netizens regarding the content of a young Islamic preacher, Husain Basyaiban, researchers found that TikTok social media is a platform that is promised in the spread of Islam in this era of globalization, as evidenced by the response to da'wah posts getting more positive reactions than negative. This is because it pays attention to Islamic principles and is designed as attractively as possible without containing deviant elements.Keywords: TikTok; Islamic Da’wah; Globalization Development.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the motives of online transactions for students of the UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta in purchasing food and fashion products. This study uses a qualitative method with the type of focused interviews. This research uses documentation and semi-structured interview techniques. The results of this study are students choose online transactions. In the use of online transactions, students are used only at certain times and the payment method chooses the transfer method. Purchasing food products online students have considerations by looking at the store rating, number of buyers, tastes, store addresses, prices, ingredients and others. Not much different from the consideration of buying fashion products, where students see buyer reviews in the form of photos of products received by buyers, number of buyers, store and product ratings, prices, store addresses and others. Other findings obtained in this study indicate that one of the factors behind students choosing shopping media is taste and urgency. The results of this study can be used as consideration in developing a marketing strategy for an online business.Keywords: Consumption Behavior; Purchase Considerations; Online Transaction

Abstract

The development of the era as it is currently experiencing a lot of development. Especially in the field of technology. Humans are increasingly making it easier to obtain information with digital advances. Almost all circles use the results of digital progress, the internet is one of them. With the internet, humans can access social media easily. There are so many uses of social media, one of which is Instagram, which is now widely used as a means of da'wah. This study was to find out the contents of Habib Syech Bin Abdul Qodir Assegaf's preaching message through Instagram Social Media with the @syaikhassegaf account. This research is included in qualitative research using descriptive method with content analysis techniques. Which includes: da'wah messages, methods and styles of delivery and the response of followers from the @syaikhassegaf account. The data collection techniques used in this study were words, videos and photos from the @syaikassegaf. In this study, it was found that the contents of the da'wah messages conveyed in the @syaikhassegaf instagram account included morals and worship.Keywords: Da’wa Massage; Instagram; Social Media

Abstract

The era of globalization has made technology and knowledge more advanced, one of which is social media. So sometimes it makes them unable to judge what is appropriate and inappropriate with various movements regardless of whether it is good or bad for others or for themselves. So, of course this can affect the behavior of teenagers later. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the TikTok application on adolescent religious behavior in Tugu Hamlet, Ngromo Village, Nawangan District, Pacitan Regency, East Java. Meanwhile, the method used in this research uses a qualitative approach with case study research methods, data collection techniques through observation and observation. The use of the TikTok application has an impact on adolescent religious behavior, including the negative impacts, namely, delaying the obligatory prayers, making them lazy to recite the Qur'an, and making them lazy to read religious books. A positive impact is also obtained when looking at content related to Islam, because it can create a desire to change to Islamic behavior.Keywords: Tiktok Application; TikTok Impact; Religious Behaviour
