Abstract

Pusong Baro Village and Ulee Jalan Village are two villages located in Banda Sakti district, under the administration of Lhokseumawe City. It has abundant natural wealth from the fishery sector, and has great potential as a dry fish producing village in the Lhokseumawe City area. However, the development of the community's dry fish processing business production is still not good. Problems in the management of dried fish are constrained by the lack of processing of existing dried fish, products that are packaged not yet on standard packaging, marketing of products that are still conventionally so that the sales commodities are small, as well as less qualified marketing management. In overcoming the obstacles of dry fish production in Pusong Baro Village and Ulee Jalan Village, this community service activity provides facilities to the community villages in the form of business tools that facilitate the production process such as vacuum sealer machines, fish drying ovens, oil slicing machines and making fish drying houses . The output of community service activities in Pusong Baro Village and Ulee Jalan Village is that they can develop better dry fish processing, product packaging which has been standardized and interesting, increased ability of community business management, publication of service journals, simple IPR , creation of an introduction catalog website dried fish products as well as uploading videos of service activities on the YouTube platform. With this service activity, it is hoped that production activities can increase to be even better than before and can expand the dried fish market commodity community production of Pusong Baro Village and Ulee Road Village.

Abstract

Universities play a crucial role in promoting sustainable agriculture and community food security. One indicator of a successful education system is the measurement of the quality of the education's output, such as the transfer of information, technology, and agricultural innovations to increase the agricultural productivity of a society and ensure its food security. Even if university students obtained the same information and abilities in lectures, many female students do not work after graduation because they marry and would rather care for their families than implement the knowledge they gained. They have a career in agriculture, but it is not their primary occupation since they support their family. Women as farmers have a substantial and vital impact on household food security. Women have a crucial part in attempts to supply food for the home.

Abstract

In this era called the information age, electronic media has become one of the mainstays for communication and business, e-commerce is an extension of commerce by exploiting electronic media, even though the use of electronic media is not yet understood, but business pressure causes business people to want to or not. want to have to use this electronic media. Sales online or e-commerce have many advantages over manual sales, and it also makes it easier for MSMEs (minimum small businesses) to check data from the sales results. Seeing the development of a sophisticated era and increasingly practical human life, it is important for entrepreneurs to install an online sales website to improve the quality of technology-based sales, fast and be able to compete and survive in the business world. The purpose of implementing this socialization activity is to introduce basic knowledge about e-commerce, web design and online promotion. The group that is targeted at this Environmental Village Service is young people who are entrepreneurs in Blang Pulo Village. The methods used are presentations, discussions and simulations. This activity produces a how-to guide and what to do when an entrepreneur wants to increase his sales. With the training and workshops held, the participants gain insight and knowledge about web design and online sales and promotions..

Abstract

The Indonesian region has a very high seismic intensity. Its geographic location is on three active tectonic plates, namely Indo Australia, Eurasia and the Pacific and is part of the circum Pacific belt, a series of volcanoes (ring of fire) that reaches 40,000 km in length, causing Indonesia to be frequently hit by tectonic earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. . Incident after incident seemed to alternately hit various regions in Indonesia. An earthquake with a magnitude of 9.1 on the Richter scale followed by a tsunami wave devastated the Aceh region in 2004. Another major earthquake occurred in Jokjakarta in 2006, which was followed by dozens of earthquakes in various regions in Indonesia. The most recent event was an earthquake with a magnitude of 6, 6 on the Richter scale in Banten on January 14 2022 which is reported to have damaged more than 3000 buildings. Simple houses are the group of buildings that most often experience collapse, heavy damage and minor damage. This community service activity will try to improve the ability of builders in five villages around the Malikussaleh University campus on simple earthquake-resistant housing technology. Efforts to increase these competencies will be carried out through theoretical explanations using examples and drawings, which will then be followed up with direct practice of making key components that have a major influence on the ability of buildings to withstand earthquake loads.

Abstract

Learners are the main and most important resource in the process of formal education. The existence of students is not just meeting their needs but is part of the quality of educational institutions. This means that quality student management is needed for these educational institutions so that students can grow and develop according to their physical condition and intellectual intelligence. Most students face many difficulties in solving problems given by the teacher, even though the information is clear and complete, while the teacher faced difficulties in educating participants to find ways to solve problems well. To be able to solve the problem properly, several things are necessarily considered including time spent on problem-solving, lesson planning, and learning resources needed. Thus expected application of the Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectual learning model (SAVI). combined with teaching aids will further add to the variety of learning models that are more interesting, increase the activity and cooperation of students and improve students' problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

Recently the use of agricultural waste containing cellulose and lignin as an alternative fuel that is environmentally friendly. The study aimed to determine the important roles of eco-enzymes and mycorrhizae due to increasing the growth rate of sacha inchi plants that are tolerant to nutrient-poor soils such as Inceptisol which are classified as sub-optimal lands. Sacha inchi broadleaf plants are classified as having a high lignin content due to their biomass potentially producing alternative fuels that can reduce dependence on the use of fossils, which were decreasing. This research was conducted in West Reuleut Village, Muara Batu District, North Aceh District and the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Malikussaleh University. This research was carried out from April to August 2022.The Application of eco-enzymes on Inceptisol soil has increased the absorption of several macronutrients that were impacted by the fresh weight of the root, root dry weight, and root length of sacha inchi. The activities of eco enzyme and mycorrhizae which were giving a positive impact on the vegetative growth rate of Sacha inchi plants. Eco enzymes contain microorganisms that help the process of decomposition, transport of nutrients, and mycorrhizae as biological fertilizers that can provide nutrient uptake for plants. The impact of synergizing both fertilizers together has increased the suitability and productivity of sub-optimal soil that is able to increase growth and yield plant. The increasing productivity of Sacha inchi plants which contain lignin and cellulose also increases plant biomass which has the potential to produce high bioethanol as well.

Abstract

The rehabilitation and reconstruction program for Aceh and Nias after the earthquake and tsunami in Aceh in 2004 are included building relief houses, which in Gampong Bitai Banda Aceh as many as 235 housing units, type 45+ from the Turkey Red Crescent (TRC) in 2006. Currently (2022) ), most of the houses seemed to be getting bigger, with the result the neighborhood is getting denser. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors that influence the residents to change their houses. This research is important to understand the phenomenon in society, which could be as an anticipated in dealing with the slums in the future according to SDGs point 11. The research approach was using a combination of quantitative-qualitative research, on 40 sample units (17.02%), using the SPSS statistical method. The aspects were studied including: occupancy aspects (space changes): and occupant aspects (6 factors). The results shows that most influence space change by looking at the correlation value obtained that the priority hierarchy of residents changing their occupancy, namely economic increase (r = 0.804), socio-cultural (r = 0.780), self-identity (r = 0.728), and addition of family members (r = 0.544) while lifestyle changes (r = -0.120) and the use of new technologies (r = 0.175) have a very low correlation to space changes. The improvement of the economy becomes very influential because with a sufficient economy, people can increase their space needs as they wish. Meanwhile, lifestyle factors are a little concerned because specifically the Gampong Bitai research area is not an urban society so it has not demanded modern living facilities.

Abstract

The supply of palm oil in East Kalimantan Province does not only come from state-owned and private plantations but also smallholders. The palm oil value chain analysis was conducted in three districts in several palm oil companies and their suppliers. CPO and PKO production data are taken through secondary data and have been processed. The company has a core business in the field of processing crude palm oil (CPO) derived from fresh fruit bunches (FFB) owned by its plantations and from farmer groups around the oil palm plantation and oil palm processing (PKO) areas. The capacity of crude oil processing plants (CPO) varies from the lowest, 30 tons FFB/hour to 90 tons FFB/hour. The purpose of this study was to analyze the CPO supply value chain of several companies in East Kalimantan Province. Observational data are taken directly in the field and secondary data. The CPO generated by Oil Palm Mill is used for two of its activities: vegetable oil, and B. non-vegetable oil. Vegetable oil is used for cooking oil and margarine. However, non-vegetable oils are used in biodiesel (for renewable energy) and soaps, and shampoos. Kernel aims for his two activities: The use of cosmetics, perfumes, or drugs.
