Abstract

The community acts as the main source of knowledge and as "teachers" for learners. In addition to the community, the internet, libraries, and media also play significant roles. Education is acquired through social, cultural, and religious activities, and even negative activities such as criminality. Assessment is conducted informally through daily observation and interaction, with corrections and advice to ensure learners adhere to societal norms. Third, the synergy of family, school, and community education can be explained as follows: 1) Family, school, and community interact and share responsibilities in guiding and educating. Families support school education, schools create appropriate learning environments, and communities provide opportunities to apply knowledge. 2) These three educational entities share common goals, such as the development of good individuals, character formation, and preparation for societal contribution. 3)There is an understanding of the shared values and culture held by families, schools, and communities, including integrity, cooperation, and social responsibility.

Abstract

The research aims to describe the existence of correlation namely Munasabah between An-Nisa‘; 11 and An-Nisa‘; 34 in title, object, revelation by determining the proportional heritage which then converts to the part of heritage when the heirs grow up particularly when they are married. The research is a qualitative research using descriptive analyze. The collection data uses literature study of interpretation, The research of result indicates Munasabah as Imam Suyuthi stated that Munasabah could function as a tool of affirmation or it strengthens the correlation between two verses. Both of verses are mutually affirmative and each stresses on the correlation. An-Nisa‘; 34 renders two significant analyzing, namely ta’lil wahbi and ta’lil kasbi.  The former is called the reasoning for a gift, which stresses on superiority gift given to the men naturally such us stronger body and gender. In this case the physical ability is apparently stronger than the natural gift given to the women. The later is reasoning to give, which means that Allah has been bestowing roles and duties to the men as caretaker of home, giving life to his family, wife and his sons/daughters. These two requirements must run in balance that the man must have the physical and spirit ability which then he would be capable of being Qawwam and home caretaker as well as a leader in his family.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the Development of Student Independence at Dayah Darussa'adah Cot Tarom, Bireuen Regency. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with an empirical approach to direct field studies. In this case, the results found from the author's research are that the Student Independence Development Program at Dayah Darussa'adah Cot Tarom Baroh is an initiative designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed so that they can live independently and contribute positively to society. In the context of Islamic boarding school education, this program aims to develop the potential of students holistically, both in terms of spirituality, intellectuality, and practical skills. Thus, students do not only become memorizers of the Quran and religious knowledge, but also have the ability to face the challenges of life in the modern world. Through this program, students are expected to become agents of change that bring benefits to their surroundings, and are able to live an independent and quality life. Thus, they will be role models for future generations and can contribute to building a better society.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Indonesia has a very important role in shaping the character and morals of the younger generation. Since the beginning of the entry of Islam into the archipelago, education has become one of the main means to spread the teachings of this religion. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. This approach was chosen because it aims to describe in depth the implementation of PAI teacher supervision at SD Negeri 5 Peusangan, Bireuen Regency. The data collected will be analyzed narratively to provide a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon being studied. The implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teacher supervision at SD Negeri 5 Peusangan, Bireuen Regency is a strategic step in improving the quality of education in an era that continues to develop. Through a planned and systematic supervision process, it is hoped that PAI teachers can develop their competencies and improve teaching methods, so that students can receive a higher quality religious education

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the normative perspective on the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council (Majelis Ulama Indonesia/MUI) regarding the prohibition of Friday prayers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This issue has become a significant concern, considering that Friday prayer is a religious obligation (wajib) for every adult male Muslim who meets the prescribed conditions. However, the global health emergency requires adjustments in the performance of religious practices to safeguard the lives of the Muslim community. The primary data in this research is the MUI Fatwa Number 14 of 2020 concerning the Organization of Worship in Situations of the COVID-19 Outbreak, which serves as the main reference for the discussion. This study employs a qualitative method with a normative approach, which involves an in-depth examination of Islamic legal sources (dalil syar’i) that form the basis of the fatwa. Data collection techniques include document study using observation and note-taking methods on fatwa texts, Islamic legal literature, and other relevant references. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis to explore the normative arguments utilized by MUI in formulating the fatwa. The findings reveal that, normatively, the obligation of Friday prayer is definitive (qat’iy) as stated in the Qur'an and the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Neglecting Friday prayers three consecutive times without a valid excuse is considered a major sin that approaches disbelief (kufr). However, in emergency situations such as a pandemic, Islamic law provides legal concessions (rukhsah) based on the principles of maqashid al-shari’ah, particularly in safeguarding human life (hifz al-nafs). In its fatwa, MUI based its decision on fiqh principles such as al-dharurat tubih al-mahdhurat (necessity permits the prohibited) and la dharara wa la dhirar (no harm should be inflicted or reciprocated). Therefore, the temporary prohibition of Friday prayers in areas categorized as high-risk COVID-19 zones is legally justified as a form of ijtihad (legal reasoning) by scholars aimed at preserving public welfare (maslahah). This research asserts that the MUI fatwa on the prohibition of Friday prayers during the COVID-19 pandemic reflects the flexibility of Islamic law in responding to emergency situations, without neglecting its normative legal principles. Consequently, a comprehensive understanding of normative sources and social contexts is essential to prevent the community from falling into a narrow dichotomy between textualism and contextual realities.

Abstract

Kajian ini mengeksplorasi dinamika hubungan antara Islam politik, negara, dan organisasi kemasyarakatan Islam (ormas) dalam membentuk kesadaran sosial di ruang publik Indonesia. Sejak era reformasi, ruang publik menjadi arena penting bagi artikulasi kepentingan keagamaan yang bersinggungan dengan wacana sosial, hukum, dan politik. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka dan analisis wacana, artikel ini menyoroti peran strategis ormas-ormas Islam seperti Nahdlatul Ulama, Muhammadiyah, dan kelompok Islam politik lainnya dalam merespons isu-isu publik seperti keadilan sosial, demokrasi, pendidikan, dan legislasi syariah. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa relasi antara negara dan ormas tidak selalu bersifat antagonistik, tetapi sering kali bersifat dialogis dan pragmatis, tergantung pada konfigurasi politik dan konteks sosial yang melingkupinya. Di sisi lain, keberadaan ormas sebagai aktor civil society berperan signifikan dalam membentuk kesadaran kolektif umat terhadap isu-isu kemasyarakatan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Hasil kajian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman tentang bagaimana Islam politik beroperasi dalam kerangka negara demokrasi dan bagaimana ruang publik menjadi medan kontestasi sekaligus kolaborasi antara kekuatan keagamaan dan institusi negara.

Abstract

This article discusses Al-Mawardi's thinking on social justice as a key principle in the Islamic system of governance, as well as its relevance in the context of contemporary governance. Al-Mawardi, through his monumental work Al-Ahkam al-Sultaniyyah, emphasized the importance of justice as the foundation of legitimate political power and an instrument for maintaining social stability. The concept of justice in Al-Mawardi's thought not only includes the equitable distribution of power and resources, but also touches on aspects of the morality of leaders, the protection of people's rights, and the mechanism of supervision against abuse of power. This article uses a qualitative approach with literature studies as the main method to explore Al-Mawardi's ideas, then examines their relevance in modern governance systems, including the principles of transparency, accountability, and public participation. The findings of the study show that even though it was born in a medieval context, Al-Mawardi's thought still has a strong normative and philosophical impetus in responding to the challenges of inequality and ethical crises in today's government. Therefore, Al-Mawardi's thinking can be a conceptual inspiration for the formulation of Islamic governance that is just, benefit-oriented, and responsive to social realities.

Abstract

Kajian Artikel ini mengkaji epistemologi Islam melalui pemikiran dua tokoh besar filsafat Islam klasik, Al-Farabi dan Ibnu Sina, dalam merespons tantangan sains modern. Epistemologi, sebagai cabang filsafat yang membahas sumber, struktur, dan validitas pengetahuan, memiliki akar yang kuat dalam tradisi Islam, yang terbangun dari relasi antara wahyu, akal, dan pengalaman empiris. Al-Farabi memformulasikan hirarki pengetahuan yang menggabungkan logika Aristotelian dan prinsip wahyu, sementara Ibnu Sina mengembangkan sistem epistemik yang menekankan peran intelek aktif (al-‘aql al-fa‘‘āl) dalam proses pencapaian pengetahuan. Keduanya memandang bahwa ilmu dan agama bukanlah dua entitas yang bertentangan, melainkan saling melengkapi. Dalam konteks kontemporer, ketika sains modern sering terlepas dari dimensi etis dan metafisik, pemikiran kedua filsuf ini menawarkan paradigma integratif antara rasionalitas ilmiah dan nilai-nilai spiritual. Artikel ini berusaha menunjukkan relevansi pemikiran epistemologis Islam klasik dalam merumuskan pendekatan ilmu pengetahuan yang utuh, tidak hanya teknis dan objektif, tetapi juga berlandaskan pada kesadaran moral dan tujuan keberadaan manusia.

Abstract

هدف هذا البحث هو معرفة مدى فعالية استخدام وسيلة بريزي (Prezi) في ترقية مهارة القراءة بطريقة القواعد والترجمة لدى تلاميذ الفصل التاسع بمدرسة مجاهدين المتوسطة بسورابايا جاوا الشرقية. ينطلق هذا الهدف من الأخطاء التي وجدها الباحث في الصف التاسع من المدرسة مجاهدين بسورابايا في تطبيق مهارة القراءة، وهذه الأخطاء تبدو عندما يقرأن النصوص أو القصص الموجودة في المقرر، لا سيما في قواعد النحوية والصرفية التي تعلمنها وقلة الوسائل والطرق المناسبة التي تستخدم في تعليم اللغة العربية خاصة عند مهارة القراءة .هذا بحث تجربي باستخدام المدخل الكمي، المجتمع في هذا البحث يتكون من جميع التلاميذ الذين يجلسون في الفصل التاسع (أ) بمدرسة مجاهدين المتوسطة بسورابايا من العام الدراسي: ٢٠٢4-٢٠٢5م. وأدوات البحث التي استعملها الباحث هي الاختبار والاستبانة والمقابلة. وأما نتائج تحليل البيانات في هذا البحث هو وجود فعالية استخدام وسيلة بريزي (Prezi) في ترقية مهارة القراءة بطريقة القواعد والترجمة. وأما النتيجة (t حساب) فهي (38,04-)، ومقدار (t جدول) هي (2,81 و2,07)، أي أن النتيجة (t حساب) أكبر من (t جدول)، وهذه تدل على أن الفرضية البحث مقبولة. ونتيجة الاستبانة هي 92,48% يخترن الإجابة "موافق". ونتيجة المقابلة مع مدرس مادة اللغة العربية للصف التاسع هي أن استخدام وسيلة بريزي (Prezi) بطريقة القواعد والترجمة له تأثير في ترقية مهارة القراءة. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Prezi media through the Grammar and Translation Method in improving reading skills among ninth-grade students at SMP Mujahidin Surabaya, East Java. The research was motivated by common errors observed in students’ reading practices, particularly in applying nahwu and sharaf rules when reading Arabic texts. The limited use of suitable media and methods in teaching Arabic reading further underlined the need for this study. An experimental research design with a quantitative approach was employed. The subjects were students of class 9A, and the instruments included tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The findings demonstrate that Prezi media combined with the Grammar and Translation Method significantly improved students’ reading skills. The calculated t-value (-38.04) was higher than the t-table values (2.07 and 2.81), confirming that the research hypothesis was accepted. In addition, 92.48% of the students expressed agreement in the questionnaire, and interviews with the Arabic teacher supported the positive influence of this approach. Overall, the study concludes that integrating Prezi media with the Grammar and Translation Method is effective for enhancing Arabic reading skills at the junior high school level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti kebutuhan pembelajaran bahasa Arab di tingkat menengah yang tidak sekadar menekankan hafalan, tetapi juga menuntut pendekatan yang aktif, komunikatif, dan kontekstual. Untuk menjawab kebutuhan tersebut, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan metode langsung (mubasyarah) dalam pengajaran terjemah bahasa Arab. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumentasi, melibatkan guru bahasa Arab serta siswa kelas X MA Ma’arif Nurul Haromain Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa metode mubasyarah mampu memperkuat pemahaman kosakata dan struktur kalimat melalui kombinasi media visual, praktik langsung, dan penyusunan mufrodat yang disesuaikan dengan tingkat kognitif siswa. Guru mengoptimalkan strategi tunjuk, latihan bertahap, serta evaluasi melalui tes lisan, tertulis, dan observasi sikap. Penerapan ini terbukti meningkatkan partisipasi siswa, keberanian berbicara, serta keterampilan memahami teks Arab.Temuan tersebut menegaskan bahwa metode mubasyarah bukan hanya relevan dalam pembelajaran muhadatsah, tetapi juga efektif untuk pengajaran terjemah berbasis konteks. Implikasi penelitian ini menyoroti urgensi pelatihan guru, pemanfaatan media digital, serta penerapan diferensiasi agar proses belajar lebih inklusif dan adaptif. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan perspektif baru mengenai penerjemahan berbasis konteks visual, yang selama ini belum banyak disentuh dalam kajian metode langsung.
