Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of internet use on the academic achievement of students at SMPN 37 Satap Bentenge. This study use a quantitative descriptive research design. The data collection techniques used were are interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The independent variable in this study is internet use, and the dependent variable is academic achievement. This study was conducted in Benteng Village, Camba Subdistrict, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, from August to September 2023. The sample consisted of 30 students from grades VIII and IX of SMPN 37 Satap Bentenge, selected using purposive sampling method. Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis and the T-test . The results of the study show that based on all of these results, it can be concluded that the use of the internet among students at SMPN 37 Satap Bentenge is in the high category with a percentage value of 36.7% and there is an increase in the average score of students before and after the internet was available, from 79.54 before the internet was available to 80.310 after the internet was available. Based on the results of the Paired Sample T Test, there is a difference in the average scores before and after the introduction of the internet, with a significance value of 0.000. This significance value is <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference between the average scores of students before and after the introduction of the internet. This difference means that internet usage has an effect on learning achievement because the students' scores are significantly different before and after the introduction of the internet.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the use of the internet (X) as a learning resource affects learning independence (Y1) and learning outcomes (Y2) of grade XI students at SMKN 10 Makassar using an ex post facto research method with correlation analysis and a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to students. The results of the homogeneity test on the variable of internet use (X) showed that the Levene statistical value was 0.375 with the first degree of freedom of 1 and the second degree of freedom of 64, and a significance of 0.543. From these results, it can be concluded that there was no significant difference in variability between the groups tested. Then, the results of the homogeneity test on the learning independence variable (Y1) The results of the homogeneity test show that the Levene statistical value is 2.085 with the first degree of freedom of 1 and the second degree of freedom of 64, and a significance of 0.154. From these results, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference in variability between the groups tested, because the significance value (sig.) is greater than the predetermined significance level (0.05). The results of the simple linear regression test on the variable of internet use as a learning resource (X) on learning independence (Y1) Based on the significance value in the coefficients table, a significance value of 0.000 < 0.005 was obtained, so it can be said that the variable X has a significant effect on the variable of learning independence (Y1). Then, based on the results of the simple linear regression test on the variable of internet use as a learning resource (X) on learning outcomes (Y2), based on the significance value in the coefficients table, a significance value of 0.208 > 0.005 was obtained, so it can be said that variable X does not have a significant effect on the variable of learning outcomes (Y2). Based on the t-value of -1.273 < t-table of 1.998, it can be concluded that variable X does not affect the learning outcome variable (Y).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the campus teaching program on literacy skills and to analyze the effect of the campus teaching program on the numeracy skills of students at SMP Negeri 52 Makassar. This study was a descriptive quantitative study. The data collection instruments used were tests consisting of pre-tests and post-tests, interviews, and documentation. The sample in this study consisted of 35 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 52 Makassar. The results obtained from this study are (1) The teaching campus program has a fairly effective influence (62%) on literacy skills. The t-test results show a sig p<0.001 value, which is smaller than sig p<0.05, meaning that there is an influence of the teaching campus program on the literacy skills of students at SMP Negeri 52 Makassar. (2) The teaching campus program had a fairly effective influence (53%) on numeracy skills. The t-test results showed a sig p<0.001 value, which is smaller than p<0.05, meaning that the teaching campus program had an influence on the numeracy skills of students at SMP Negeri 52 Makassar. Based on this data, it can be concluded that the campus teaching program has a positive effect on students' literacy and numeracy skills.

Abstract

This study is a program evaluation aimed at describing and analyzing the effectiveness of the implementation of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology’s Teaching Campus Program at UPT SPF SD Inpres Kalangtubung I. The study employed the CIPP evaluation model, examining the context, input, process, and product aspects of program implementation. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, with informants consisting of ten individuals, including school representatives and students assigned to the Teaching Campus program. The evaluation results indicate that, from a contextual perspective, the program was implemented in accordance with Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 22 of 2020, guided by the Teaching Campus Guidebook issued by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, and aligned with both school needs and program objectives. In terms of input, program priorities were appropriately aligned with school needs, and the competencies of the student implementation team particularly in communication and social interaction supported effective execution. From a process perspective, program activities were carried out according to the established collaboration action plan, supported by students’ adaptability, resilience, and solution-oriented approaches to challenges encountered. From a product perspective, the Teaching Campus program achieved its intended objectives and generated positive impacts for both the target school and participating students. Overall, the findings indicate that the Teaching Campus Program at UPT SPF SD Inpres Kalangtubung I was implemented effectively.

Abstract

A teacher's teaching experience is the period of time a teacher performs the duties of a teacher at a particular educational institution. This is based on a letter of assignment or employment contract issued by an authorized educational institution, such as a school, university, or other educational institution. SMK Negeri 4 Takalar is a vocational high school with five (5) expertise programs with vocational teachers in several departments who are still ongoing and fresh graduates due to a shortage of productive teachers. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of productive teachers' teaching experience on the pedagogical competence of SMK Negeri 4 Takalar. This was a correlational study using a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection methods included questionnaires, documentation, and interviews. The study population consisted of all 17 productive teachers. Data analysis techniques included simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the total recapitulation of respondents' answers on the teaching experience variable from the four indicators observed by the researcher was 55%, and the total recapitulation of respondents' answers on the pedagogical competence variable from the five indicators observed by the researcher was 47%. The simple linear regression test on the regression coefficient equation values of the two variables showed a significant influence. The correlation between the two variables was strong. The hypothesis test obtained a t-count for the teaching experience variable that was greater than the t-table, so this study concluded that the teaching experience of productive teachers had a significant effect on pedagogical competence at SMK Negeri 4 Takalar.
