Abstract

General Background the growing concern for environmental sustainability has prompted organizations, including healthcare institutions, to adopt green accounting practices. Specific Background this study employs a literature review approach to examine the application of green accounting at a specific hospital, aiming to identify relevant theoretical references and documentation. Knowledge Gap despite the significance of green accounting in enhancing accountability and transparency in financial reporting, there remains a lack of comprehensive understanding and implementation among healthcare institutions, particularly in the context of this hospital. Aims the study aims to analyze the current state of financial reporting based on green accounting, assess the application of green accounting principles, and evaluate the implementation of environmental prevention costs at the hospital. Results findings indicate that while the hospital has integrated environmental costs into general and administrative expenses, detailed green accounting reports are lacking. Additionally, staff awareness and understanding of green accounting principles remain insufficient, and the implementation of environmental prevention costs has not yet been realized. Novelty this study contributes to the literature by providing empirical insights into the application of green accounting in a healthcare setting, highlighting the need for improved practices. Implications the findings underscore the importance of enhancing knowledge and practices of green accounting within healthcare organizations to foster greater environmental accountability and sustainability. Highlights : Integration of environmental costs into financial reporting is observed. Lack of detailed green accounting reports hinders transparency. Insufficient staff awareness of green accounting principles limits effectiveness. Keywords : Green Accounting, Environmental Costs, Healthcare, Accountability, Financial Reporting

Abstract

General Background complications during delivery can significantly affect maternal and neonatal outcomes, necessitating a deeper understanding of associated risk factors. Specific Background this study examines the relationship between maternal age, parity, and the incidence of delivery complications in a local healthcare setting. Knowledge Gap limited research has focused on the impact of maternal characteristics, such as age and parity, on the prevalence of delivery complications within this population. Aims the research aims to analyze the incidence of complications among mothers based on their age and parity status using descriptive survey design and secondary data. Results the findings indicate that a majority of mothers were at risk due to age, with 65% being unemployed and 60% experiencing irregular antenatal care (ANC). Furthermore, 65% of the mothers were classified as multigravida, and 65% faced complications during delivery. The incidence of complications was higher among those at risk (75%) compared to those not at risk (50%). Additionally, multigravida mothers experienced a higher complication rate (84.6%) than primigravida (20.0%) and grandemultigravida (77.8%). Novelty this study highlights the significant prevalence of delivery complications linked to maternal age and parity in a specific healthcare setting. Implications these findings underscore the importance of targeted healthcare interventions and improved prenatal care to mitigate risks associated with delivery complications. Highlights: Majority of mothers at risk due to age and parity. High incidence of delivery complications among multigravida. Irregular antenatal care linked to increased complications. Keywords: Complications, Maternal Age, Parity, Antenatal Care, Multigravida

Abstract

General Background: Childbirth complications threaten maternal and fetal health, particularly in cases of anemia and short pregnancy intervals. Specific Background: Complications at BPM Sri Sukarti Wlingi were high (33.3%) in August 2020. Knowledge Gap: Limited research exists on the impact of anemia and pregnancy intervals on childbirth complications. Aims: This study aimed to describe how pregnancy intervals and anemia relate to childbirth complications at BPM Sri Sukarti Wlingi. Results: A descriptive study with 30 samples found 80% of mothers had a safe pregnancy interval, and none were anemic. Complications were rare, with 87% of mothers experiencing none. High-risk pregnancy intervals showed 83.3% without complications. Non-anemic mothers were more likely to avoid complications (85.2%). Novelty: Risky pregnancy intervals and anemia were not major predictors of complications. Implications: Effective anemia management and regular prenatal care reduce complications, even in high-risk pregnancy cases. Highlights: Pregnancy Interval: 80% of mothers had a safe pregnancy interval, reducing complication risks. Anemia: None of the mothers experienced anemia, which contributed to fewer complications. Complications: 87% of mothers did not face complications, showing effective prenatal care management. Keywords: Anemia, Complications of Childbirth, Pregnancy Distance

Abstract

General Background school well-being is crucial for fostering a positive educational environment and promoting student discipline. Specific Background this study investigates the relationship between school well-being and student discipline behavior at a high school. Knowledge Gap while existing research highlights the importance of both constructs, there is limited empirical evidence examining their correlation, particularly in the context of high school students. Aims the research aims to determine whether a significant relationship exists between school well-being and student discipline behavior among students at SMA Avisena. Results analysis revealed a correlation coefficient (rᵪᵧ) of 0.025 with a significance value of 0.747, indicating no significant relationship between the two variables. Despite the absence of a clear correlation, there appears to be a tendency for a connection. Novelty this study contributes to the literature by exploring the dynamics of school well-being and discipline in a high school setting, providing insights into the complexities of student behavior. Implications the findings suggest that while school well-being may not directly influence student discipline behavior, understanding the nuances of their relationship can inform strategies to improve both constructs within educational institutions. Further research is recommended to explore other factors that may mediate or moderate this relationship. Highlights: No significant relationship found between school well-being and student discipline. The study highlights a tendency for a connection despite statistical insignificance. Insights can inform strategies for improving student behavior and well-being. Keywords: School Well-Being, Student Discipline, Correlation, High School, Education
