Abstract

PT. DCK is a packaging industries company that focuses on cardboard boxes. Competition between similar companies makes competition even tighter and more competitive in winning over consumers. The existence of these conditions requires PT DCK to improve the quality of services and products to further develop its business, so it is necessary to measure the quality of services and products in order to know the form of services and products that consumers want. By using the Quality Function Deployment method, companies must understand the needs and desires of consumers and translate them into technical characteristics through the formation of a House Of Quality. From the analysis conducted through the pre-introduction of 19 attributes, there are 16 attributes that influence the quality of customer satisfaction. The level of importance with the highest value on the attribute of on-time delivery according to the agreed schedule with a score of 3.82, for the highest technical characteristics that are the priority to be implemented with a value of 13.9% is employee training and evaluation of the highest customer needs with a value of 8.5%, namely There is a guarantee in case of damage and there are 10 competitive position table attributes with low scores compared to competitors. Keywords: costumer satisfaction, quality, quality function deployment, house of quality

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the optimum design model of motorcycle parking area layout at EsaUnggul University. The first step in this research is to know the value of parking accumulation (AP), parking volume (VP), parking capacity (N) and parking index (IP) of motorcycle parking area used in EsaUnggul University today. Based on observations, the parking capacity of the rear parking area is currently 1085 motorcycles and for the front parking area of 250. For the need for parking area based on the highest parking accumulation of the number of motorcycles located in the rear parking area as much as 1309 motorcycles and in front parking area 288 motorcycles. There is still a difference of 224 for the rear parking area and 38 on the front parking area. Furthermore, for the second phase, the design of the model for the rear parking area and front. From the design results there are 7 models of the design model produced for the motorcycle parking area owned by EsaUnggul University which consists of 5 design models for rear parking area and 2 design models for front parking area. For the design of the rear parking area model is the modification of current parking conditions, angle patterns 90°, 60°, 45°, and 30°. As for the design of the front parking area model is the modification of current parking conditions and the combination of angle patterns 60° and 90°. The calculation of the parking index (IP) of each model design indicates that IP > 1 which means the parking requirement exceeds the parking area capacity. From the results of this research, the optimum model design is angle 90° for rear parking area and combination of angle pattern 60° and 90° for front parking area. It is expected that the results of this design obtained regularity in the parking of motorcycles, reducing complaints motor damage, increasing the convenience of parking facilities and facilities users lack of congestion for the in and out of the parking area, because the plot has been set. Keywords: parking, perking area, parking accumulation (AP)

Abstract

PT. Homeware International Indonesia has producing furniture and household accessories made from rattan or wood. The productshave  produced include table tops, baskets, home accessories, light furniture, and ceramics. The number of accidents and occupational health of the company is still relative highly. The purpose of this research is to identify, analyze and provide suggestions for improvements, and recommendations for actions to minimize the causes of work accidents. The analysis of the problem from the Pareto Chart shows that burns are the main type of accident.Through analysis using Fishbone Diagrams, Matrix Diagrams, Fault Tree Analysis, to proposed improvements with 5W + IH, it were concluded that the causes that have the largest priority scale are humans, machines, and the environment with the root of the problem that occurs in burn accidents including pressure  from supervisors, chasing targets, neglect, irregular machine maintenance schedule, lack of air ventilation and maintenance of exaust. Proposed preventive actions and recommendations for actions to prevent problems that occur, namely understanding the regulations, making a good production schedule, understanding the SOP, checking the temperature of breaking downperiodically, making maintenance schedules, carrying out exaust maintenance and adding air ventilation. Keywords: occupational health and safety, pareto chart , diagrammatrix, fault tree analysis

Abstract

Colleges using high-rise buildings for the teaching and learning process are faced with the high level of damage suffered by the lifts. This happens because when the learning process progresses, the elevator users are filled with many students in a number and at the same time causing the elevator to often experience high loads and sometimes excessive (overload) resulted in frequent damage. A case study on this study was conducted at the University of XX located at Kebon Jeruk Jakarta Barat. Based on the reference and discussion with the manager of the elevator, to measure the effectiveness of elevators need to calculate the magnitude of Availability value, Performance Efficiency, and Rate of Quality Services. Availability is influenced by downtime losses with the variable Equipment Failure and Set up – Adjusment. Performance Efficiency is influenced by Speed Losses with the variable Idling and Minor Stoppage and Reduced Speed variables. The value of Rate of Quality Services is influenced by Defect Losses with the variable Process Defect and Reduce Yield. Data on elevator interval measurement is obtained in 2 (two) building A and C of the XX campus and several other campuses are high-rise at the University of Mercu Buana Jakarta and in the Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia Depok. The calculation results show for building A which has 8 floors, in 5 minutes the number of people to be transported (5HC) as much as 16.52%. With a population density of 3.8 m2 per-person (much more dense than the standard office that is 11 m2 per-person), the total number of people in the building 3450 people (peak load time), as well as the length of time the elevator interval per-floor is 31 seconds (speed is influenced by the setting of the sensor on the lift) then requires 55 lifts. The C building has 5 floors, in 5 minutes the number of people to be transported (5 HC) as much as 12%. Population density 7.7 m2 per-person, total number of people in the building 500 people (peak load time), as well as the length of time the elevator interval per-floor is 31 seconds then requires 2.48 lifts. Keywords: Overall Equipment of Effectiveness (OEE), lifts, Overload, Availability, Performance Efficiency, and Rate of Quality Service.

Abstract

Abstrac The purpose at this research is to determine the effect of product quality, brand image, and word of mouth on product purchasing decisions: A case study on consumer Nesco Multicheck PT Haafiz Medika, Central Jakarta. The independent variables studied were the product quality, brand image and word of mouth, while variable dependet is purchasing decisions. The population of this research are all consumers Nesco Multicheck PT Haafiz Medika, Central Jakarta whose number is not known for certain. Samples are 150 respondents with method of hair sampling. The sampling method used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression. The results showed that the quality of the product has a significant influence on purchasing decisions, the brand image has significant influence on purchasing decisions, and word of mouth has a significant influence on purchasing decisions. In addition, it studies show that product quality, brand image and word of mouth together (simultaneously) has significant influence on purchasing decisions. The most dominant factor of three independent variable is the variable quality of the product. Keywords: Quality product, brand image, word of mouth, buying decision. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas produk, citra merek, dan word of mouth terhadap keputusan pembelian produk: Studi kasus pada konsumen Nesco Multicheck di PT Hafidz Medika, Jakarta Pusat. Variabel independen yang diteliti adalah kualitas produk, citra merek dan word of mouth, sedangkan variabel dependet adalah keputusan pembelian. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh konsumen Nesco Multicheck di PT Hafidz Medika, Jakarta Pusat yang jumlahnya tidak diketahui secara pasti. Sampel penelian ini adalah 150 responden dengan metode hair. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Regresi Linier Berganda. Hasil menunjukan bahwa kualitas produk memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, citra merek mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dan word of mouth memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Selain itu hal penelitian menunjukan bahwa kualitas produk, citra merek dan word of mouth secara bersama-sama (simultan) memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Faktor yang paling dominan dari ketiga variabel bebas tersebut adalah variabel kualitas produk. Kata kunci: Kualitas produk, citra merek, word of mouth, keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

AbstrakPT. X merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi sepatu berkelas dunia, menghadapi tantangan jumlah dan frekuensi cacat yang melebihi batas maksimal toleransi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, menganalisis dan memberikan usulan untuk menurunkan tingkat cacat produksi. Proses produksi terdiri dari area cutting, sewing dan assembling. Area assembling, memiliki tahapan proses paling banyak, dengan jumlah cacat tertinggi sebesar 66% dari total cacat. Tiga kategori cacat yang memiliki frekuensi tinggi di area perakitan yaitu (1) open bonding, (2) over cement dan (3) wrinkle from lasting. Hasil analisis jenis dan penyebab cacat dengan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), menunjukkan penyebab cacat dominan adalah operator yang bekerja dengan terburu-buru dan lingkungan kerja yang kurang nyaman. Target output produksi setiap operator 220 pasang/jam. Proses kritis yang dilakukan pengukuran waktu baku adalah 8 proses yaitu attaching, cementing upper, cementing upper, primer upper, primer lower, toe lasting, heal lasting, press universal. Hasil pengukuran waktu baku untuk 8 proses tersebut 1.309, 59 detik/pasang. Total target waktu penyelesaian yang ditetapkan perusahaan sebesar 958, 88 detik/pasang. Terdapat penambahan waktu baku sebesar 350,71 detik/pasang . Usulan perbaikan untuk menurunkan cacat adalah (a) penggunaan alat pelindung diri (b)pemasangan kipas angin dan exhaust fan sehingga area kerja tidak terlalu panas,(c)penggunaan tooling sesuai standar,(d) pengecekan berkala untuk bahan kimia, material komponen sebelum digunakan, (e) peningkatan ketelitian setting mesin, (f) pemantauan proses. Kata kunci: Kualitas, cacat, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), time study, waktu baku.

Abstract

AbstrakKabupaten Brebes, Jawa Tengah merupakan daerah yang dominasi penduduknya bekerja pada sektor pertanian dengan sektor unggulan komoditi bawang merah. Sentra Bawang merah Kabupaten Brebes merupakan sentra produksi terbesar di Indonesia selain di Cirebon, Kuningan, Nganjuk, Probolinggo dan Bima. Namun potensi unggulan tersebut tidak diimbangi dengan tingkat kesejahteraan petani yang diakibatkan rendahnya posisi tawar petani. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya posisi tawar petani adalah akibat terjadinya fluktuasi harga bawang merah yang disebabkan terjadinya over supply akibat panen raya, masuknya bawang merah impor serta peran tengkulak. Faktor-faktor utama yang mengakibatkan rendahnya posisi tawar petani seperti kurangnya akses serta jaringan pasar, tertutupnya akses informasi harga pasar dan minimnya penguasaan teknologi. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan selama 8 bulan dengan menggunakan pendekatan mix method dengan strategi penelitian studi kasus. Analisis yang dilakukan adalah analisis kebijakan, kapabilitas lokal, pemasaran dan transparansi usaha. Hasil dari analisis adalah temuan studi berisi fakta-fakta di lapangan yang bermuara akhir pada sebuah kesimpulan yang merupakan jawaban pertanyaan penelitian yaitu hasil identifikasi rantai nilai pemasaran bawang merah di Kabupaten Brebes, Jawa Tengah. Kata kunci: Rantai nilai, posisi tawar petani, pengembangan ekonomi lokal

Abstract

AbstractThe purposeof this researchis to determine whether the number of motorcycle parking checkouts at Esa Unggul University is optimal in serving all customers. While the specific objectives of this research was to find out how many motorcycle checkouts amount of parking that should be owned by Esa Unggul University so that it can serve customers optimally. To solve that problem and obtain the expected goals, so in this research using the queue model to determine the performance of the parking checkouts. In addition, simulation techniques are also used to provide an overview of areal system in order to evaluate and improve system performance. From the calculation and simulation ProModel obtained that the optimal number of counters for motorcycle parking payment counter at Esa Unggul University is as much as 2 counters. So the performance of the queue for the current conditions that exist at the University of Esa Unggul especially on motorcycle parking payment counter that uses 2 counters were optimal. From the calculations, the level of service and optimal performance of the queue contained in M = 2 (the number of motorcycle parking payment counter as much as 2 counters) with details of its performance are P0 (the probability of no customers/motors in the queuing system) is 0.3249 ; Ls (number of customers/average motor in the queuing system) is 1.4257 ; Ws (the average time spent on customer/motors in line or being served) is 0.0475 ; Lq (number of customers/average motor waiting in the queue) is 1.4749 ; dan Wq (the average time spent by the customer/motor to wait in the queue) is 0.0492. From the ProModel simulation results obtained service levels and optimal performance of the queue contained in 2 Line/Lane Model with an % Idle average value of 51.17. Keywords: Queue, Queue Systems, Modeling, Simulation, Model AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah jumlah loket pembayaran parkir motor di Universitas Esa Unggul sudah optimal dalam melayani seluruh pelanggan. Sedangkan tujuan khusus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berapa jumlah jumlah loket pembayaran parkir motor yang sebaiknya dimiliki oleh Universitas Esa Unggul sehingga dapat melayani pelanggan secara optimal. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dan memperoleh tujuan yang diharapkan, maka dalam penelitian ini digunakan model antrian untuk mengetahui kinerja loket pembayaran parkir. Selain itu teknik simulasi juga digunakan untuk memberikan gambaran dari suatu sistem nyata dalam rangka mengevaluasi dan meningkatkan kinerja sistem. Dari hasil perhitungan dan simulasi ProModel diperoleh bahwa jumlah loket optimal untuk loket pembayaran parkir motor di Universitas Esa Unggul adalah sebanyak 2 loket. Sehingga kinerja antrian untuk kondisi saat ini yang ada di Universitas Esa Unggul khususnya pada loket pembayaran parkir motor yang menggunakan 2 loket sudah optimal. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh tingkat pelayanan dan kinerja antrian optimal terdapat pada M = 2 (jumlah loket pembayaran parkir motor sebanyak 2 loket) dengan rincian kinerjanya adalah P0 (probabilitas tidak adanya pelanggan/motor dalam sistem antrian) sebesar 0.3249 ; Ls (jumlah pelanggan/motor rata-rata dalam sistem antrian) sebesar 1.4257 ; Ws (waktu rata-rata yang dihabiskan pelanggan/motor dalam antrian atau sedang dilayani) sebesar 0.0475 ; Lq (jumlah pelanggan/motor rata-rata yang menunggu dalam antrian) sebesar 1.4749 ; dan Wq (waktu rata-rata yang dihabiskan oleh pelanggan/motor untuk menunggu dalam antrian) sebesar 0.0492. Abstract

AbstrakPeningkatan kualitas merupakan sesuatu yang sangat esensial bagi sebuah industri manufaktur agar terus menjaga keberlangsungan produksi dan peningkatan keuntungan perusahaan. Produk Cat Polyurethane merupakan salah satu jenis produk cat yang banyak digunakan dan begitu besar pangsa pasarnya, karena jenis produk ini tahan lama dan tidak mudah berjamur, mempunyai karakteristik anti gores dan daya kilap (gloss) yang tinggi. Permasalahan yang banyak terjadi pada produksi cat polyurethane adalah hasil viskositas produksi tidak sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang telah ditentukan. Hal ini sangat mengganggu proses produksi, karena lead time produk akan panjang. Pengujian viskositas merupakan unsur penting dalam industri cat, karena viskositas sangat berpengaruh terhadap kualitas produk yang dihasilkan apakah cat terlalu kental atau cat terlalu encer. Jika cat terlalu encer ataupun cat terlalu kental ini akan berdampak pada saat cat akan digunakan oleh konsumen. Tahapan perbaikan secara berkelanjutan dan dengan pengendalian kualitas pada tahap desain eksperimen serta tahap proses produksi dengan menggunakan Metode Taguchi diupayakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada. Metode ini berfokus untuk mengeliminasi penyebab rendahnya kualitas dan menghasilkan performansi produk yang sensitif terhadap keragaman. Rata-rata produk defect pada perusahaan diatas 5%, secara detail diuraikan berdasarkan jenis kecacatan terdiri dari viskositas (tingkat kekentalan) 54%, Glossy (tingkat kilap cat) 23,8 % dan specific Gravity (berat jenis cat) tidak sesuai spesifikasi perusahaan sebesar 22,1 %. Analisis dari pengendalian kualitas yang diterapkan menggunakan fishbone diagram dan pareto chart serta control chart menghasilkan bahwa faktor dan subfaktor penyebab ketidak sesuaian spesifikasi produk cat polyurethane adalah tenaga kerja (Man Power) dengan subfaktor kurang konsentrasi dan kurang terampil, Mateial dengan subfaktor penanganan material dan jenis thiner. Machine dengan subfaktor mesin kotor. Method dengan subfaktor pengecekan dan perlakuan proses. Environment dengan subfaktor temperatur. Selanjutnya dengan menggunakan Taguchi Method didapatkan Setting dan model pengaturan yang tepat untuk cat polyurethane agar di hasilkan viskositas yang sesuai spesifikasi perusahaan adalah faktor A (pengadukan) adalah 900 rpm, faktor B (jenis thinner) adalah THPU-2713-06, faktor C (perlakuan proses) adalah tangki ditutup, dan faktor D (pengecekan) adalah dengan suhu 300. Kata kunci: Polyurethane, spesifikasi, taguchi method, pengadukan, penanganan material

Abstract

AbstrakPT. Agung Surya Langgeng Makmur merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia yang memproduksi metal roof dan memasang produk jadi hasil fabrikasi tersebut sesuai dengan permintaan pelanggan (cladding manufacturing). Perancangan tata letak yang baik pada lini produksi akan meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan melalui peningkatan keselamatan kerja, penurunan biaya material handling, peningkatan kenyamanan bekerja, dan peningkatan efektifitas aliran produksi. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui ketersediaan ruangan lantai produksi, mengetahui proses produksi atap baja, mengetahui spesifikasi mesin-mesin pembuatan atap baja dan merancang tata letak lini produksi di PT. Agung Surya Langgeng Makmur. Perancangan tata letak lini produksi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) dan Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD). Berdasarkan ARC dan ARD diperoleh keterkaitan hubungan antara mesin cutting dengan mesin bending. Sebaliknya mesin eagle roof tidak mempunyai keterkaitan dengan mesin lainnya. Namun untuk memudahkan dan mempercepat proses pengerjaan maka mesin eagle roof dan mesin cutting harus didekatkan pada area material. Sedangkan mesin bending dan mesin eagle roof harus didekatkan pada area produk jadi agar mempermudah proses penyimpanan. Kata kunci: Rancangan Tata Letak Fasilitas, ARC, ARD AbstractPT. Designing a fine layout on the production line will increase the company's productivity through enhanced safety, reduce material handling costs, increase comfort, and increase the effectiveness of work flow production. This study is aimed to determine the availability of the production room floor, know the production process of steel roof, know the specifications of the machines manufacturing steel roof, and design the layout of production lines in the PT. Agung Surya Langgeng Makmur. Designing the layout of production lines were calculated using Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) and Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD). Based on the ARC and ARD, inter-relationship between the cutting machine and bending machine was obtained.
