Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of career development provided by PT. Indonesian Credit Insurance (ASKRINDO) Samarinda Branch to its employees on Veithzal Rivai's theory of career development. This research method uses descriptive qualitative method. From the results of the study it was found that: (1) The stages of employee career development at PT. Indonesian Credit Insurance (ASKRINDO) Samarinda Branch in accordance with the stages proposed by Veithzal Rivai, namely the initial phase, the continuation phase, the maintenance phase and the retirement phase. (2) All employee data used for analysis shows that they have gone through 4 phases, namely the initial phase, the continuation phase, the retaining phase and the retirement phase.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational climate, work discipline and organizational communication on employee motivation at UPT. Mulawarman University Library. This type of quantitative associative research with a sample of 36 people which is a saturated sampling technique. The data sources used are primary data by means of interviews, distributing questionnaires and observation. While the analysis tool uses Validity Test, Reliability Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Correlation Coefficient Analysis, Coefficient of Determination Analysis and Hypothesis Testing (T Test and F Test) with the help of the SPSS program. The test results are based on the results of the validity test, all statements of the research questionnaire are declared valid because r-count > r-table. For the reliability test, the Cronbach's Alpha value is also declared reliable because the Crobach's Alpha value > r-table. Based on the Multiple Linear Regression analysis, it is also stated that Organizational Climate, Work Discipline and Organizational Communication have a positive effect on Work Motivation. The Correlation and Determination Coefficient Test stated that there was a moderate relationship between Organizational Climate and Work Discipline variables on Work Motivation because the value of the correlation coefficient belonged to the coefficient interval between 0.040–0.599. As for the Organizational Communication variable, there is a strong relationship because the correlation coefficient value belongs to the coefficient interval between 0.060-0.799. Based on the partial hypothesis test (own) the results obtained that Organizational Climate, Work Discipline, Organizational Communication dominantly have a positive effect on Work Motivation. And simultaneously test the hypothesis (together) the results obtained that Organizational Climate, Work Discipline, Work Communication have a positive and significant effect on Work Motivation. Therefore H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of training and development at the Damai sub-district office on employee productivity. The type of research used is quantitative research with quantitative descriptive methods using questionnaires and multiple linear regression analysis tools, validity and reliability tests, correlation tests and determination tests. Test the hypothesis T test and F test and use the SPSS 21 tool to determine the effect and relationship of each variable. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the training and development variables simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the work productivity of employees at the Damai District Office of West Kutai Regency. And of the two independent variables, namely training and development, the dominant variable is Development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work commitment and work stress partially or simultaneously significant effect on employee performance at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk Sudirman Cluster Micro Division Samarinda. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the Multiple Linearity is Y = 6.946X 0.716 + 0.108, this indicates that work commitment and work stress have a positive effect on employee performance. As for the results of the Coefficient of Determination analysis, it is known that R^2 = 0.535, this shows that there is an influence of 5.35% between Work Commitment and Work Stress on Employee Performance. And based on the results of hypothesis testing H1 work commitment has a significant effect on performance, H2 work stress has no significant effect on performance, and H3 simultaneously between work commitment and work stress has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of discipline, motivation, and commitment on the performance of the employees of the Economic Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of East Kalimantan Province. This research uses quantitative research methods. The sample in this study were all 28 employees of the Bureau of the Economy. The data were collected by using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the following test results: Y = 2.688 + 0.299X1 + 0.244X2 + 0.462X3 The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees of the Regional Secretariat of the Economic Bureau of East Kalimantan Province, and there is no and no significant effect on the performance of the employees of the Regional Secretariat of the Economic Bureau of the Province of East Kalimantan. Partially, work discipline has no effect and is not significant on employee performance with a ttable value of 2.063 > (more) tcount 1.639 with a significance value of 0.114 > (more) 0.05. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a ttable value of 2,063 < (less) tcount of 2,145 with a significance value of 0.042 < 0.05. And work commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a ttable value of 2.063 < (less) tcount 2.913 with a significance value of 0.008 <0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the effect of training and work discipline on the performance of officers at the Samarinda City Fire Department. This research is a research using quantitative descriptive method. Sources of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires. The sample in this study amounted to 117 respondents using the Slovin formula. The statistical method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 23. The results of this study show that partially the training variable has an effect but is not significant on the performance of firefighters in Samarinda City and the discipline variable has an effect and is significant on the performance of firefighters. Simultaneously training and work discipline have a significant effect on the performance of firefighters in Samarinda City. The value of Adjusted R Square is 0.492, which means that all independent variables can explain 49.2% of the dependent variable, while the remaining 50.8% can be explained by other factors not tested in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of changes in organizational culture, individual characteristics and leadership on job satisfaction of employees of PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, Tbk Samarinda Square. This research method is quantitative with data collection using quota sampling techniques with a total of 48 samples, data collection techniques using descriptive analysis, the data presented is data obtained from the results of respondents' answers using the SPSS version 2.2 calculation tool to fully understand the relationship between each variable. . From the results of the t-test analysis (partial) there is a significant effect of 10% which is relatively low or there is no influence on the variables of organizational culture change (X1) Individual Characteristics (X2) and Leadership (X3) on employee job satisfaction (Y) at PT . Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, Tbk Samarinda Square. And while the rest is 90% which may be influenced by other factors that are not explained by the researcher in this thesis. But from the results of the F test (simultaneous) the three variables have no influence on the variables of organizational culture change (X1) Individual Characteristics (X2) and leadership (X3) on employee job satisfaction at PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, Tbk Samarinda Square.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using working capital on profitability. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative and uses an analytical tool, namely financial ratios as a tool to determine the effect of using working capital on profitability at PT. Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the use of working capital, namely cash turnover in 2015 to 2019 has decreased but mostly is above industry standards, receivables turnover in 2015 to 2019 fluctuated but was above industry standards and inventory turnover Inventory turnover from 2015 until 2019 has increased but is below industry standards. thus making the use of working capital can affect the profitability of PT. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine, analyze, and compare the financial performance of PT. Eastparc Hotel Tbk with similar sector companies (sample) before and during the 2018-2020 COVID-19 pandemic which were analyzed based on the liquidity ratio (current ratio and cash ratio), solvency ratio (total debt to equity ratio and total debt to total assets), activity ratio (total assets turnover), and profitability ratio (return on assets and net profit margin). This research method is descriptive qualitative by using financial ratio analysis tools to determine and analyze the value of liquidity (current ratio and cash ratio), solvency value (total debt to equity ratio and total debt to total assets), activity value (total assets turnover), and profitability values ​​(return on assets and net profit margin), which are then compared between the companies that the researcher chooses with other similar sector companies. From the analysis results, the researcher can conclude that the liquidity ratio (current ratio and cash ratio), solvency ratio (total debt to equity ratio and total debt to total assets), and activity ratio (total asset turnover) are below the industry average or more. lower than the industry average (sample), while the profitability ratios (return on assets and net profit margin) are above the industry average or higher than the industry average (sample).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect and relationship of product quality, halal labels and discounts on Oriflame cosmetic products on the buying interest of the people of Samarinda. This research method is descriptive quantitative with Multiple Linear Regression analysis, and uses statistical analysis tools with the help of SPSS version 26 computer program to determine the effect and relationship of each variable. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the correlation coefficient between product quality, halal labels and price discounts has a strong relationship of 0.730. The results of statistical tests state that jointly product quality, halal labels and price discounts affect buying interest with a Ftable value of 30.860 > 2.72 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. The results of this study indicate that 1) Product quality has a significant effect on buying interest; 2) Halal label has no significant effect on buying interest; 3) Price discounts have no significant effect on buying interest
