Abstract

One act of using the internet with the most time spent is watching services in video form, such as watching films or drama series. Various brands of subscription video service providers are offered on the market, one of which is the Netflix brand which is known as a pioneer. This research aims to determine the effect of perceived price on repurchase intention through brand preference among Netflix streaming service consumers in Denpasar City. This research used a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 120 respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using path analysis techniques, Sobel test, and Variance Accounted For (VAF). The research results show that perceived price and brand preference have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention; perceived price influences brand preference; and brand preference is able to partially mediate the influence of perceived price on repurchase intention. The theoretical implications of this research are to add to empirical studies and confirm the influence of brand preference in mediating the influence of perceived price on repurchase intention. From these results, it is recommended that Netflix improve and maintain competitive pricing strategies and continue to innovate to strengthen brand preferences, thereby increasing repurchase intentions among consumers.

Abstract

A company's dividend policy is an important decision because it affects the company and its shareholders.Decision making regarding a company's dividend policy is a crucial aspect that affects both the company and its shareholders, especially in the context of the dynamics of the COVID-19 pandemic. The company always strives to improve performance to maximize shareholder benefits. However, managers as administrators often have goals that may be different, reflecting differences in interests between investors who expect dividends and management who may be more inclined to personal interests. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of managerial ownership, investment opportunity set, debt policy on dividend policy with company size as a moderator. The sample for this research is 68 non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2021. Sample selection in this research was carried out using a non-probability sampling approach using the purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique uses Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The research results show that managerial ownership, investment opportunity set, debt policy have a significant positive influence on dividend policy. Company size is able to strengthen the relationship between managerial ownership, investment opportunity set, and weaken the relationship between debt policy and dividend policy.

Abstract

Taxpayer compliance is a form of taxpayer behavior that complies with its obligations to report taxes in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Based on data from the Pratama Gianyar Tax Service Office (KPP), taxpayer compliance in 2019-2023 was at the highest, only reaching 80 percent in 2020. This supports the statement from the Ministry of Finance staff which stated that the realization of taxpayer compliance in Indonesia was less than 85 percent. percent. The lack of public awareness in reporting taxes is thought to be due to a lack of knowledge regarding mechanisms, tax reporting procedures and tax benefits. There are several factors that can influence taxpayer compliance, including tax knowledge, service quality and tax sanctions. This research aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the influence of tax knowledge, tax service quality and tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance with tax socialization as a moderating variable at KPP Pratama Gianyar. This research uses an associative quantitative approach with data collection methods through distributing questionnaires. The population in this research is all WPOP at KPP Pratama Gianyar totaling 328,707 taxpayers. The sample for this research consisted of 100 respondents who were calculated using the Slovin formula with the accidental sampling method. The analysis technique used is moderating regression analysis. The research results show that knowledge of taxation and tax sanctions have a positive effect on taxpayer compliance, but service quality has no effect on taxpayer compliance. The results of the moderation regression analysis show that tax socialization does not strengthen the influence of tax knowledge and tax sanctions and tax socialization increases the influence of tax service quality on taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

Global development is basically considered an opportunity and a challenge at the same time. Indonesia, which is a developing country, is a country with a small economy (Small Open Economy). A country with a small economy is a country whose national economy is not yet developed, meaning that the country's role and influence in the global economy is not large enough. The stock market has historically been an indicator that is sensitive to business cycles and is also the most influential variable in the government's leading indicator index. The aim of this research is to prove that Indonesia is a small open economy whose business cycles are influenced by developed countries (Big Economy). This research was conducted on the Indonesian Stock Exchange using secondary data in the form of time series obtained through trusted websites. The time series data used is monthly data starting from 2019 - 2022 (4 years). The amount of data observed in this study was 48 data. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. The research results show that the Fed Interest Rate, World Oil Prices and the Dow Jones Index simultaneously have a positive effect on the IHSG. The research results also show that the three independent variables, namely the Fed Interest Rate, World Oil Prices and the Dow Jones Index have a partial positive effect on the IHSG.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on share prices on the capital market. This is different from pharmaceutical companies whose share prices increased during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research aims to determine the market reaction as seen from the difference in average abnormal returns before and after the publication of pharmaceutical company financial reports before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The grand theory of this research is the Efficient Market Hypothesis. The research was conducted using an event study for 15 days (t-7 to t+7) of the publication of financial reports. The population of this study used 10 pharmaceutical companies registered on the IDX for the period 2019 and 2021. The sample for this study was 40 samples each year. The hypothesis test for this research is the one sample t-test and the Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results of the hypothesis test show that before Covid-19, there was no difference in the average abnormal return before and after the publication of financial reports. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a significant difference in average abnormal returns before and after the publication of financial reports. This shows a comparison of the difference in average abnormal returns before and after the publication of pharmaceutical company financial reports before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This indicates that financial reports published during the Covid-19 pandemic influenced investors in making investment decisions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the accuracy of the Bollinger Bands and Relative Strength Index (RSI) technical indicators in determining buy and sell signals on Cryptocurrency, especially Bitcoin. Based on data from 2021 to 2023, there has been a significant increase in the number of Cryptocurrency investors in Indonesia. Bollinger Bands measure volatility and help determine the right time to enter or exit the market, while RSI helps identify overbought or oversold conditions. The research results show that of the total of 15 signals identified using the daily timeframe, Bollinger Bands succeeded in providing accurate predictions 10 times with an accuracy rate of 66.7%. The RSI indicator shows an accuracy rate of 60%, with 3 out of 5 signals successful. Bollinger Bands tend to provide more signals because they base their predictions on price movements against their own band lines, RSI focuses more on overbought and oversold conditions, providing sharper and more accurate signals, but the limitations of both indicators are seen in bullish market conditions, where they do not there is a buy signal that is generated when the price of Bitcoin experiences a significant increase. This research concludes that although both indicators have their respective advantages and disadvantages, traders can use them accurately to identify trading opportunities on Bitcoin.
