Journal Techno Entrepreneur Acta merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang berfokus pada pengembangan keilmuan di bidang keteknikan dan sains yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai kewirausahaan (techno-entrepreneurship). Abstract

Changes in lifestyle, culture, religion, climate change and natural disasters because traditional homes are considered no longer able to accommodate the needs of its inhabitants. Karampuang customs area is the name of a village located +35 kilometers west of the district capital Sinjai South Sulawesi Indonesia, which has a history of birth "To Manurunge" on top of a hill known as Batu Lappa. This research emphasis on (1) identifying the basic morphological characteristics of traditional houses Karampuang accordance with the transformation of its shape (2) designing the time line of the history of the transformation of traditional forms of home and area Karampuang. When the study for 6 months with the sampling technique is a technique that samples purposive direct appointment by the researcher. Determination of case studies based on data from literature, interviews and field surveys. While data analysis technique descriptive analysis. Transformation of the traditional house Karampuang experienced three changes of shape and location of this was due to the development of confidence and dislocations that follows the water level at that time.

Abstract

Results briquette making distance with wasp nests form in six samples, each sample weight was 1000 grams of raw materials with a concentration of 0% -50% composition range of waste and rice husk. The results showed briquette with composition 0 % husks have the time, temperature and the highest calorific value. Results of research on combustion of briquettes in real time using briquette stoves showed that the addition of the composition (%) effect on decreasing husk briquette combustion time and maximum temperature are obtained. Results of laboratory studies showed that the addition of the composition (%) husks effect on decreasing calorific value of briquettes. Husk serves as a trigger to burn a distance with a mixture of chaff on the composition of waste briquettes used in the amount of 10% range. The test results by analyzing the chemical composition estimates, test results through the analysis proksimasi thermal properties and physical properties, generally fall within the existing standard briquettes (briquettes commercial standard reference, import, Japan and USA). comparison with the test results indicate use of kerosene stoves and range of waste husks briquettes are more economical Rp. 500,00 if compared with the use of kerosene to boil 1 liter of water.

Abstract

The useful life of reinforced concrete structural elements could mean that the structural elements of reinforced concrete is not able to withstand the repeated load. In this regard, conducted research that aims to understand the behavior of reinforced concrete flexural loading fatigue and effects receives tired and reinforcements Sheet Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP-S). Methods to set boundaries or controls in the calculation of the capacity of the test beam and its impact on behavior and reinforcement in the beam test obtained in a number of references. This study makes a test beam with a full-scale model with a size of 300 x 500 x 6000 mm. Number of test blocks are provided each with 4 pieces of reinforced concrete. Tests conducted on the technique of static loading on 3 pieces of test beams A 1, B 1 and B 2 and the fatigue loading on the first specimens of B 2 with 1:25 Hz cycle frequency. The results showed that the effect of fatigue on concrete receiving sufficient load capacity and a big influence on the behavior of concrete. Concrete receiving static load is able to accept a maximum load of 470 kN while the concrete receiving the fatigue load is able to accept the fatigue load minimum 75 kN and 260 kN maximum endures to 1,300,000 cycles with a greater deflection behavior. Observations on the beam construction of static and fatigue loading test showed retrofitting of GFRP-S is able to increase the capacity of the test beam in the receiving load. Capacity test on the beam reinforcement GFRP has not mencapai ultimate theoretical capacity, so it needs further study regarding pengaruh cracking and melting before retrofitting GFRP rebars. Analysis of fatigue in structures is essential for the achievement of the design life of the structure and the salvation of mankind

Abstract

This research aims to design a web-based census system and android on the agency Statistics Center. To achieve these objectives used methods of data collection in the form of file documentation and interviews.In the design of the library information system the author makes the design of Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and Use Case.The results showed that the system is census-based web and android that has been created consisting of administrators, enumerators, and the user is easier for officers to perform data entry enumerators, inputting to the census, the recapitulation of the census of education and health, the presentation of data to the census, as well as easier for people to looking for information in the form of data needed to realize the census data processing system that is efficient, effective, and mobile

Abstract

In the management of parking during this run visible indicators that can be used as a benchmark as the low contribution of parking service on revenue of Makassar and still less professional and optimal management of parking. This study aims to determine the level of optimization of the application of the parking management system by operators of parking based on public perception and analyze the level of service and high availability of parking facilities in the city of Makassar. This research was conducted by direct interview to the community and the spread of random questionnaires to determine public perceptions of parking management that are run during this and subsequent analysis of the level of service and availability of parking infrastructure by taking samples of the two locations in the city of Makassar. From the results of research in getting that parking geometric arrangement resulted in the design markings on the road Bougainville Makassar park consists of 26 markers and 20 markers of motor cars, while road markings Pengayoman consists of 146 cars and 54 motorcycles markers. Overall capacity of the car park on the street Bougainville 104 vehicles/h, the capacity of the car park on the street Pengayoman the west as much as 584 vehicles/hour. Capacity motorcycle parking on the street Bougainville as many as 80 vehicles/hour, capacity bike parking on the street Pengayoman the west as much as 216 vehicles / hour. For availability of parking facilities in addition to marking problems of parking, availability of infrastructure such as parking signs, SRP and parking attendants in Bougainville and western aegis not ideal should be added and equipped. Potential revenue (PAD), which can be generated at the study site from the calculation of the accumulation of cars and motorcycles parked vehicles every 15 minutes in the span of 13 hours every day for a week total daily average of Rp. 1,657,346. The respondent's perception of the overall entry in the medium category. For the highest score obtained at a frequency of parking of vehicles in the parking lot was not authorized by a score of 1054. While the lowest score in the delivery of tickets, with a score of 716. Overall it can be concluded that the availability of parking infrastructures is lacking and parking management systems are still considered less than optimal.

Abstract

Continuous aeration in the tropics to the main function room cooling naturally in improving the indoor climate, air movement and control that will deliver the best refreshment. The flow of air inside the building is not only influenced by the wind speed but supported by the architectural aspect. Getting the proper air flow patterns to the room as well as the controlling will depend on the performance of building ventilation which then can be a factor for good or bad, depending on the location of the building ventilation varied by using simulation method, which affect thermal comfort penghuni. Penelitian discusses thermal simulation techniques building flats on the behavior patterns of airflow and performance effective ventilation system simulation techniques software device Computating Fluid Dynamic (CFD) in some residential space in the flats Mariso in Makassar. Mechanical simulation performed to study the rate of air distribution pattern and obtain the optimal design model then completed with the parameters according to the actual conditions then iterated until it reaches convergenitas. Conclusions derived from the results of the display contours, velocity vector, or a stream of particles in the simulation results

Abstract

The assessment of landslide hazard and risk has become a topic of major interest for both geoscientists and engineering professionals as well as for local communities and administrations in many parts of the world. Recently, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), with their excellent spatial data processing capacity, have attracted great attention in natural disaster assessment. In this paper, an assessment of landslide hazard at Upper Area of Jeneberang Watershed has been studied using GIS technology. By simulating the potential landslide according the minimum safety factor value using GIS, it can be expected that great contribution as a basic decision making for many prevention works before future landslide occurs at Jeneberang River Watershed, South Sulawesi, Indonesia

Abstract

PT. Usaha Timur Gowa merupakan perusahaan Industri yang bergerak dalam industri Sari Buah Markisa. Pada proses produksi mesin utama yang digunakan adalah alat press atau sentrifugal. Dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan perancangan jadwal perawatan mesin. Untuk menjamin kelancaran suatu proses produksi maka diperlukan adanya sistem perawatan yang teratur agar mesin dapat berjalan dengan baik. Karena apabila sering terjadi breakdown pada jam operasi maka akan menghambat proses produksi. Sistem perawatan yang baik dapat meningkatkan keandalan suatu mesin. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengolahan data dengan bantuan Software Weibull++4.3 sebagai penentu analisis data yang terkait dengan hasil penanganan mesin selama periode satu tahun dengan total rata-rata waktu 8 jam per satu kali beroperasi, dari data waktu antar kerusakan. untuk mengetahui distribusi data yang digunakan guna menentukan ekspektasi nilai kerusakan komponen mesin dengan metode MTTF (Mean Time To Failure). MTTF merupakan interval waktu maksimal dalam menggunakan komponen mesin sampai komponen mesin tersebut rusak. Komponen impeller pada mesin ekstracktor sentrifugal mempunyai ekspektasi kerusakan pada jam ke-247 yang dianggap akan mampu membawa dampak yang lebih baik dengan referensi jadwal interval perawatan pada Shaft, Casing, Impeller, Bearing, Coupling dan packing and seal merupakan factor penyebab kerusakan mesin pada PT. Usaha Timor Gowa , hal ini agar dapat dilakukan pada manajemen produksi khususnya pada penanganan mesin ekstracktor sentrifugal yakni mesin pemisah biji markisa untuk menghindari breakdown. Strategi perawatan dalam bentuk pemeliharaan selang optimal disusun untuk mencapai target dengan tingkat keandalan system dan interval perawatan dapat di tentukan untuk mencegah insiden kerusakan selanjutnya antara 247.2712 jam (10 hari) dan 558.9799jam (32 hari)

Abstract

Batubara merupakan bahan bakar fosil yang dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber bahan bakar alternatif pengganti bahan bakar minyak bumi dan gas alam yang sudah semakin menipis. Cadangan batubara di Indonesia, khususnya di Sulawesi cukup berpotensi, namun hingga saat ini belum dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan bakar mengingat kandungan sulfurnya relatif tinggi yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada alat pembakaran, dan dapat menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan, kecuali terlebih dahulu dilakukan proses desulfurisasi sebelum pembakaran (precombustion). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mereduksi kandungan sulfur pirit dalam batubara sehingga memenuhi kriteria untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu bahan bakar industry. Secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari mekanisme dan kinetika depiritsasi batubara menggunakan oksidator feri sulfat, sebagai usaha meminimalisasi kandungan sulfur batubara tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian Desulfurisasi Batubara Menggunakan Oksidator Besi (III) Hasil Olahan Limbah Besi. Penelitian desulfurisasi batubara asal Mallawa (Sulawesi) skala laboratorium dilakukan dalam sebuah reaktor (labu leher empat) dengan sistem semi batch, dilengkapi dengan sebuah kompressor, flowmeter, termometer dan pengaduk. Karakterisasi, analisis proximate dan ultimate batubara dilakukan mengikuti prosedur ASTM Standar. Analisis sulfur total dilakukan dengan metode esckha yang dikombinasi dengan spektrofotometer UV, sedangkan nilai kalor batubara diukur dengan alat bomb kalorimeter. Dari hasil per hitungan diperoleh nilai orde reaksi n = 1,771. Nilai ini ternyata tidak bulat tetapi pecahan yang menunjukkan bahwa reaksi depiritisasi dengan pereaksi besi (III) sulfat merupakan reaksi kompleks yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap reaksi. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh persamaan kinetika depiritisasi batubara dengan pereaksi besi (III) sulfat pada suhu 90 oC, kecepatan pengadukan 930 rpm sebagai berikut : – rS = 6,741.10-2.CS(1,771)
