Abstract

The Nursing Act recognizes different types of nurses with various competencies, but not much is known. This paper aims to provide an understanding of nurses who run independent practice. This research is a research with a qualitative approach based on norms. The findings and discussion show that in principle, nurses who carry out independent practice must have competence as a nursing profession with various specialties. One of them is that independent nurses are required to be independently responsible for each nursing care carried out by them

Abstract

Occupational safety and health is important not only in companies but everywhere, such as educational institutions, construction sector and companies. This obligation regarding the implementation of the K3 Management System by each company is regulated in PP No. 50 of 2012 concerning the Implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. This research is a literature review, where the data sources in this study come from several published journals obtained from the search engine "google scholar". The purpose of this study is to determine the evaluation of the implementation of the K3 management system in construction companies. The implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) has been going well and in accordance with Government Regulation No. 50 of 2012. However, there are still some obstacles found such as lack of cooperation between employees/staff, lack of worker awareness of the use of PPE. It is hoped that the company can continue to maintain policies and implement plans in order to create a safe and comfortable work area for workers

The purpose of this literature is to find out the application of occupational safety and health management systems from various companies. The research method used is literature study by summarizing and analyzing secondary data according to the topic raised. In implementing SMK3 in the company, it must be applied to all employee members. However, not only employees, companies also lack knowledge about SMK3. Abstract

Background: The work environment in both formal and non-formal companies always has risks of danger that can have an impact on both workers and the environment itself. To overcome this impact, it is necessary to monitor bimonitoring so that workers avoid various threats while working. Research Objectives: This study aims to describe the dangers of chemicals through biomonitoring. Research Methods: This study used the literature review method. Literature review is an approach used to collect and analyze relevant information from existing literature sources. Results & Discussion: There are still many industries that are growing rapidly in Indonesia today that have not run according to applicable operational rules. There are still industries that don't understand the regulations that are made, such as the threshold for quality standards for production materials that still exceed the standards and how K3 operational standard management is applied. Conclusion: Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that monitoring of chemical hazards in the industry can be done by bimonitoring. There are still industries that exceed their quality standards which can endanger the health of industrial workers

Abstract

During pregnancy, mothers must prepare themselves to welcome the birth of their baby. A healthy mother can give birth to a healthy and physically perfect baby with sufficient body weight. Maternal nutritional status in pregnancy affects the nutritional status of the fetus. Maternal food intake can enter the fetus through the umbilical cord that is connected to the mother's body. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the working area of the Baraya Baraya Health Center Makassar. The research design is quantitative. The researcher used a design with a cross sectional method, the number of samples was 45 respondents who met the inclusion criteria with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out by univariate, bivariate, with "Chi square test". The results of the study found that the p value was 0.000, meaning the p value (p < 0.005), then HA was accepted and Ho was rejected. From this study, there is a relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the working area of the Baraya Health Center Makassar. Therefore, it is recommended that mothers continue to consume nutritious foods

Abstract

In recent years, attention to the negative impact produced by internal combustion engine vehicles on the environment has increased. Exhaust emissions and the use of fossil fuels are major challenges in the effort to achieve cleaner and more sustainable transportation. In this context, electric vehicles have become a promising solution to reduce air pollution and dependence on fossil fuels. From the results of previous studies show that in terms of cost electric vehicles are more efficient than oil-fueled vehicles. Based on the analysis of the impact of electric vehicles on the environment and natural resources, it can be concluded that electric vehicles have great potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reduce dependence on limited natural resources. By replacing fossil fuel vehicles, electric vehicles can help reduce air pollution and contribute to climate change

Abstract

In Indonesia, negative behavior of patients with violence against work among nurses was reported as physical assault, verbal, sexual violence, incidents, and legal threats which were mostly carried out by patients and their families. The negative impacts that arise include nurses feeling depressed, feeling like avoiding patients, being less enthusiastic about work, and stress arising. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between negative behavior of patients and their families on the work stress of nurses. The research method used is cross sectional. The population of this study were all nurses in the inpatient room. The number of samples is 33 respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data collection using the Perceptions of Prevelence of Aggression Scale (POPAS) questionnaire in Indonesian (Elita et al, 2011) and work stress. Data analysis method using gamma somers’d. The results of the analysis obtained a p value of 0.000 (<0.05) meaning that there was a negative relationship between patient and family on work stress with a positive correlation direction of 0.741 which means the higher the negative behavior of nurses

Abstract

Mining is the most dangerous occupational sector in the world. Based on statistical data from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, during 2019 there were mining accidents which resulted in the death of 24 people, 105 workers heavy and 28 workers light. The cause of work accidents in the workforce is related to exposure to underground mining toxic gases. This study used the Literature Review (LR) methodology where the data source was obtained from "Scopus" with search keywords the year of publication was limited from 2019 - 2023. From a literature review, predeposition factors consisting of age, work experience, work location and body parts have an effect on work accidents in workers, risk assessment factors are the most important factors applied to prevent work accidents in the workplace and the role of the company in influencing work accidents. Based on the research questions, it can be concluded that the causes of work accidents include: lack of knowledge and motivation in using personal protective equipment and not carrying out work permit compliance procedures, not using personal protective equipment and not having a work permit socialization. Factors such as worker age, work experience are not positively correlated with work accidents while work location and body parts influence the causes of work accidents. Risk assessment factors can be carried out to minimize the occurrence of work accidents. In addition, it is known that many companies have prioritized safety issues as evidenced by the many studies conducted by companies to prevent work accidents in the workforce
