Abstract

This Police Personality Analysis aims to determine the factors that influence police performance in helping the community. Police performance is greatly influenced by various factors, including the police's own personality. Police officers' personalities can influence how they interact with the public and how they carry out their duties. Therefore, analyzing police personality is very important in improving police performance and increasing public trust in the police. This research uses factor analysis methods to group variables that influence police performance. The research results show that of the 21 variables that influence the performance of Buleleng Regency SatPol PP employees, they can be reduced to 6 (six) factors. These factors include: (1) Work Discipline Factor, (2) Motivation Factor, (3) Job Satisfaction Factor, (4) Compensation Factor, (5) Work Environment Factor, and (6) Work Stress Factor. These factors have a significant influence on police performance, with a high work ethic, strong motivation, good job satisfaction, adequate compensation, high work discipline, good competence, a conducive work environment, an effective recruitment/selection process, and experience. relevant factors have a significant effect on police performance. In this analysis, the research also found that experience and compensation affect the performance of community-based surveillance cadres in the work area of the Pancana Health Center, Barru Regency in 2021. The most influential variables are experience and compensation for the performance of community-based surveillance cadres in Pancana Community Health Center working area, Barru Regency. In synthesis, this analysis shows that the factors that influence police performance are very complex and influenced by various variables. Therefore, this analysis suggests that police organizations need to increase the work effectiveness of police officers, build professional police institutions, and gain greater public trust by paying attention to the factors that influence police performance.

Abstract

This article discusses advocacy, which is a movement to provide support for marginalized people by highlighting a case of bullying that resulted in death. Vina's case was made into a big screen film and succeeded in attracting a lot of attention from Indonesian citizens. The film "Vina Before 7 Days" tells the story of a girl who had to suffer the death of a victim of bullying which resulted in abuse. Bullying itself is widespread among teenagers by taking advantage of someone's absence which results in mental and physical harm to the victim and makes the victim ostracized in their social environment, which is why this article tries to look at the film "Vina Prior 7 Hari" as an advocacy movement. This article uses a qualitative method with a literature review to collect data and a content analysis approach to describe sources in the form of narratives or images. The form of data taken comes from films and related news media. The results of this research show the reason for making a true story into a film entitled "Vina Before 7 Days" of a murder victim, due to bullying. The making of this film provides defense and support for the victim with the aim that this case will not be forgotten and there will be no more victims of bullying. This article deliberately does not focus on advocacy for the victim's family because if defense and support is given to the victim's family then the case will lead to a system of revenge, whereas revenge is not something that advocacy wants to fight for. If you want to fight for the legal system, then advocacy is not suitable to discuss this issue because what is wrong is not the legal system but the policy makers who play with the law. So from this advocacy step, it is hoped that policy makers will pay attention to solutions so that bullying does not happen again.

Abstract

Information Systems are important components that help businesses operate better and more efficiently. As part of the agricultural sector, tea companies need an integrated information system to better manage the production process. The use of software such as StarUML becomes relevant in this case. StarUML is a tool that can be used to design various models for software development, such as use case diagrams, class diagrams, and activity diagrams. Its ability to facilitate system design from multiple points of view, from the business process level to technical implementation, is a key advantage of StarUML. Actors, such as system users, and how they interact with the system can be identified using use case diagrams. In this case, the main actors involved in the use of the painting process information system can be identified as painting operators, painting process managers, and Quality Control (QC).

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain the I'jaz of the Qur'an from the the concept of Al- Sarfah which was the origin of mu'tazilah ulama'. I'jaz Al-Qur'an according to Mu'tazilah scholars is an event that weakens anyone who challenges the Al-Qur'an. Al-Sarfah's ideology explains about the I'jaz of the Qur'an that miracles arise not from internal factors but from external factors. This research uses analytical qualitative methods with literature review. The findings in this research are that there are advantages to the Al-Sarfah in the study of I’jaz Al-Qur’an, namely in the context of interpreting the Al-Qur’an and relevance between Al-Sarfah and I’jaz Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Behind the glitter of big cities, there are still many dark sides, many household chores are still problematic in big cities, one of which is dealing with homeless people and beggars who are still often found in every corner of big cities. As Schawab (1992) said, homelessness and begging are still a national problem that occurs in many big cities, including in developed countries. Homeless people and beggars are generally often found at traffic lights, markets, restaurants such as restaurants, in front of retailers such as in front of supermarkets or minimarkets, at the extreme, some even enter residential areas, which in fact is quite disturbing and unsettling. As reported by Kompas.com in 2019, there were 77,500 homeless people and beggars in all big cities in Indonesia. There needs to be a mutual understanding between the people in the city of Jogjakarta with regional regulation Number 1 of 2014 Article 2 paragraph (5), so that legal regulations do not conflict with the social situation of the people of Jogja who are very easy to give and have high compassion. In this way, the author draws a problem formulation related to the Yogyakarta Special Region Regulation Number 1 of 2014 is relevant, is the implementation of the Yogyakarta Special Region Regulation Number 1 of 2014 on target and evaluation of the Yogyakarta Special Region Regulation Number 1 of 2014. The research approach used in this research qualitative with literature study research methods (Putrihapsari & Fauziah, 2020). Literature study is research carried out by reviewing various literature studies required in research (Nazir, 2014), by utilizing literature to obtain data in the field without the need to go directly to informants or the community. Library research time starts from June 5 2024 to review and search for reference sources relevant to this research. Yogyakarta Special Region Regulation Number 1 of 2014 concerning Handling Homelessness and Beggars in Yogyakarta is a concrete manifestation of the city of Yogyakarta which in fact is a cultural city, student city and a city rich in extraordinary tourist destinations that is very aware of its territory. The presence of homeless people and beggars continues to increase almost every year in the city of Jogja, causing the government to provide several strict sanctions both for homeless people and beggars and also for the general public who give money. In fact, to have a deterrent effect, these homeless people and beggars must be returned to their hometowns because they are in fact sprawled out in the city. Jogja mostly comes from outside the city of Jogja. If this is still not heeded, then the sanction of imprisonment must also be imposed, not only for money givers but also for homeless people and beggars to provide a deterrent effect.

Abstract

With the rapid growth of Internet of Things (IoT) technology and Wi-Fi networks as wireless communications infrastructure, information security is increasingly important in the digital environment. However, security attacks continue to grow. One of them is a Wi-Fi phishing attack, where attackers leverage Wi-Fi network replication to trick users and obtain their authentication information. The use of the ESP8266 module as a Wi-Fi network replication tool is an important issue that needs further review. The ESP8266 module can operate as a Wi-Fi access point or client within an existing Wi-Fi network. With its flexibility, this module can be leveraged to replicate legitimate Wi-Fi networks for phishing attacks. Wi-Fi network replication techniques typically involve masking the identity of a legitimate network, including SSID and other configuration, to trick users into connecting to a fake network. Attackers can exploit captive portals to request sensitive authentication information. These findings emphasize the importance of security awareness and the need for stronger precautions to protect users' personal data. The ESP8266 module successfully copies a Wi-Fi network using a legitimate SSID and tricks users into connecting to a fake network. Once connected, users are asked to enter a valid Wi-Fi password through the verification portal. Entered authentication information is logged for further analysis. Wi-Fi phishing attacks can result in the theft of personal information such as usernames, passwords, and financial information. The use of Wi-Fi replication can expose vulnerabilities in the security infrastructure and cause users to lose trust in public Wi-Fi networks. This study uses an experimental approach to investigate Wi-Fi phishing attacks using the ESP8266 module to replicate legitimate networks. Abstract

This research was conducted to investigate how job satisfaction impacts the mental health of workers at PT. X Tbk. The type of research used in this journal is a qualitative study. The data collection carried out in this research took the form of interviews with 5 employees at PT X Tbk. This research is aimed at understanding how important job satisfaction is to the mental health of employees who work in physical training centers or PT at PT. X Tbk. In this research, qualitative data collection methods were used. Primary data was collected through interviews and internet searching. This research is aimed at determining the relationship between job satisfaction and mental health among employees at PT X Tbk. This research was conducted as part of a survey of PT X Tbk employees using the interview method to measure their level of job satisfaction and mental health. Research findings show a positive relationship between employee job satisfaction at PT. X Tbk and their mental health. Regression analysis and descriptive statistics were used to analyze the collected data. Employees who are satisfied with their jobs tend to have lower stress levels, are more motivated, and have better overall mental health. This research shows that HR (Human Resources) management efforts are very important in achieving increased employee job satisfaction as a way to improve mental health in the workplace. This study makes an important contribution to understanding the factors that influence employee mental health in specific work environments.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesian schools can be analyzed through the lens of the ethical theory of utilitarianism, which emphasizes achieving the greatest happiness for the greatest number of people. The Merdeka Curriculum is designed to provide flexibility to schools and teachers in compiling and implementing the curriculum, according to student needs and potential. This approach is expected to increase student engagement and learning motivation, empower teachers to develop innovative teaching methods, and create more relevant and contextual learning. In addition, the Merdeka Curriculum also aims to ensure equal access to education and fair opportunities for all students, including those who have special needs or come from different socio-economic backgrounds. Although the implementation of this policy faces challenges, such as disparities in educational quality between schools and administrative burdens for teachers, the potential to improve educational quality and collective welfare remains significant. Thus, the application of the ethical theory of utilitarianism in the Independent Curriculum is expected to bring maximum benefits to all stakeholders in the Indonesian education system

Abstract

This study aims to interpret the meaning of farewell contained in the lyrics of the song "Sakura No Hanabiratachi" by JKT48 using Saussure's semiotic theory. The research method used is literature study with qualitative-descriptive data analysis technique. The results of the analysis indicate that the lyrics depict feelings of nostalgia, sadness, and optimism in facing farewells and changes in life. The lyrics utilize metaphors and natural imagery to convey messages about the beauty and complexity of life, the importance of hope, courage, and support in facing challenges, and the value of memories and personal growth

Abstract

Various industries, including the tea industry, have been greatly affected by advances in information technology. By using StarUML software, this research aims to create an effective production information system for companies in the tea industry. The system design methods used include requirements analysis, database design, and system modeling using activity diagrams, use cases, and Class diagrams. System modeling with StarUML helps to visualize the production process visually and logically. A case study was conducted on a local tea company to assess the needs of their production information system. The results of this analysis are used to create a normalized database with Microsoft Access. Data normalization is carried out to guarantee an ideal data structure and reduce data redundancy. In system modeling, StarUML enables the visualization of use case diagrams to show the interaction between actors and systems. In addition, Class diagrams can show Class relationships and Class hierarchies. This study found that the use of StarUML as a tool in designing production information systems can improve the operational efficiency of companies in the tea industry. It is expected that the planned implementation of the information system will improve the control and supervision of the production process, as well as make it easier for management to make decisions.
