Abstract

The land area of a country has a state border area that can occur threats and conflicts such as tank vehicles that can penetrate into the territory of another country. The threat is overcome by object detection technology to detect tanks in land surveillance using the YOLO model. This research aims to obtain the results of the tank detection system data parameters, determine the tank detection process, and determine the effectiveness of the YOLO model in detecting tanks. The YOLO model used in the research is YOLOv9 by collecting tank image datasets to serve as a training dataset that will produce data parameters in object detection and evaluating model testing in the form of images, videos, and detection devices in the form of embedded systems integrated with cameras. Evaluation of tank detection in the form of simulation is tested using three different confidence values and using a dark or night scenario to determine the effectiveness of the YOLOv9 model in detecting tanks in that scenario. The results of the evaluation of the YOLOv9 model in tank image detection get 99.3% accuracy in the form of images and videos. The evaluation results in the scenario of three different confidence values can sort out the low accuracy value of tank detection according to the confidence value used and the results of tank detection in dark or night conditions are less effective in detecting tanks. This research is concluded to be able to produce tank detection system data parameters in the form of precision and recall, can find out the tank detection process, and the YOLO model becomes an effective object detection model in detecting tanks from the detection simulation results obtained.

Abstract

Cybersickness is an uncomfortable condition often experienced by users of virtual reality (VR) technology, which is characterized by symptoms such as dizziness, nausea and disorientation. Beat Saber, a VR-based rhythm game, has become very popular among VR users due to its engaging and interactive gameplay. Game Blink PlayStation Padang is an entertainment venue that provides VR game facilities, including Beat Saber. However, the popularity of this game is also accompanied by complaints about cybersickness experienced by players. This research aims to analyze the level of cybersickness experienced by Beat Saber players in the Game Blink PlayStation Padang as well as the factors that influence the occurrence of cybersickness. The research methodology used was a quantitative survey, with questionnaires filled out by 50 Beat Saber players. This questionnaire measures various symptoms of cybersickness experienced by players, duration of play, as well as other factors such as VR gaming experience, frequency of play, and environmental conditions of the playing area. The research results showed that the majority of respondents experienced symptoms of cybersickness with varying levels of severity. The main factors that contribute to cybersickness include playing for too long, lack of experience playing VR, and unfavorable environmental conditions such as inadequate lighting and ventilation. These findings show the importance of setting the right playing duration, gradually increasing the VR gaming experience, and optimal environmental structuring to reduce the risk of cybersickness. It is hoped that this research will provide insight for managers of VR gaming venues and players in an effort to reduce the occurrence of cybersickness and increase comfort and safety when playing VR.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country with more than 17,000 islands, including small islands in the outermost and outermost parts that connect the country with other countries. With the many small, remote islands in Indonesia, the country does not need to monitor its natural resources from outside. Protect Indonesia's natural resources from smuggling and theft by monitoring the country's borders. If Indonesia had small islands in its outer regions, it would theoretically be easier to police its borders and protect its natural resources from smuggling and theft. This can help Indonesia monitor its borders and protect its natural resources from theft and smuggling. Based on Presidential Regulation Number 78 of 2005, Indonesia has 92 small outer islands, most of which are uninhabited and border with more than 10 countries. Indonesia has a long coastline of 81,000 km2 because of its many islands. Small overseas islands actually help control smuggling and theft of the country's marine resources and territorial sovereignty. The problem that will be discussed is how international law is regulated in the outermost island areas, how are the outermost islands in Indonesia regulated. The method used in this research is in the legal discipline, so this research is part of library law research, namely by "how to research library materials or what is called normative legal research. The legal materials studied are in the form of the 1982 UNCLOS regulations and several regulations. in Indonesia which regulates the existence of the outermost islands in Indonesian territory.

Abstract

The prevention of accidents between aircraft and obstructing objects on the apron is controlled by a unit, namely Apron Movement Control. This unit also plays a role in regulating aircraft maneuvers, regulating the movement of vehicles or facilities on the apron, providing information services for aviators and related units if there is a special need. This unit must ensure the security, safety, and smooth operation of flights, especially on the apron. The authors used qualitative data types that focused on the Apron Movement Control (AMC) Unit and marshaller in addition to other information relevant to this study. Primary and secondary data are the data sources for this study. In this research, the data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation will be compiled with a narrative pattern that presents information about the situation being studied and the phenomenon in the field. The results of this study show that the process of supervising marshaller activities when guiding the maneuvering aircraft to the parking lot that has been determined by the AMC is running well. However, a marshaller had violated several safety regulations. The Apron Movement Control (AMC) unit is doing a good job, but they need to be more resolute and bold to prevent violations, such as imposing sanctions that include withholding the Airport Pass or revocation to ensure safe and comfortable flight operations.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between social support and self-efficacy in students. Social support, which includes emotional, instrumental, informational, and reward support, is considered an important factor that can influence an individual's self-confidence in achieving academic and personal goals. Self-efficacy, or belief in one's ability to complete tasks and achieve goals, is a crucial aspect in student academic success. This research uses quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires to a number of students from various departments at a university. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant positive relationship between social support and self-efficacy. Students who receive high levels of social support tend to have higher levels of self-efficacy. These findings underscore the importance of a supportive social environment in increasing students' self-confidence to achieve academic success and personal well-being. This research suggests that educational institutions strengthen social support programs to help increase student self-efficacy.

Abstract

The Erau Festival, as a cultural celebration of the Kutai Kartanegara traditional community, is a real manifestation of local wisdom passed down from generation to generation. This article aims to present an overview of the Erau Festival as a manifestation of local wisdom and how this festival has adapted to the modern era. This research uses a journal-based literature method involving analysis, synthesis and interpretation of information found in scientific journals, as well as some electronic information obtained. The brief results of this research are that the Erau tradition is a tradition that has existed for a long time but is still developing to this day by continuing to be carried out every year on Kutai Kartanegara's birthday, which is packaged by the regional government in the form of a cultural festival. Currently, Erau has transformed into a multi-event, a harmonious collaboration between traditions that are still well maintained and a dynamic contemporary atmosphere. So that in this increasingly modern era, Erau as the local wisdom of Kutai Kartanegara can still be preserved as a cultural event that has distinctive characteristics, character and a strong attraction for tourists, both local and foreign tourists. The efforts above are a way for local governments to preserve culture.

Abstract

The lost and found unit is a work unit whose task is to check passengers' luggage by matching the baggage code on each passenger's baggage tag, as well as handling excess, lost and damaged luggage encountered by passengers. This research aims to determine the handling of baggage irregularities at the 2023 Moto-GP event in handling problematic baggage cases by lost and found officers at PT. Angkasa Gate at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport, Lombok. This research was conducted in 2023 at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Lombok International Airport using qualitative methods and data collection was sourced from passengers who experienced baggage problems when arriving at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Lombok International Airport. The next source comes from extracting data sources through online interviews with lost and found units regarding passengers' baggage irregularity handlers, direct observations of objects, documents such as PIR (Property Irregularity Report) and related operational procedures. The results of the research show that the procedures for handling baggage irregularities that have been carried out by the lost and found unit are carrying out inspections and recording if there is damage or other problems with passenger baggage in a document called PIR (Property Irregularity Report) which will later be published. Fill in the passenger's identity and then sign it. If there is a problem with the passenger's baggage, the passenger has the right to apply for compensation. The obstacles faced by lost and found units during the 2023 Moto-GP event itself are very diverse, one of which is communication

By using socio-legal methodology, this research focuss on to main aspect: the reconstruction of deah penlty regulation in Indonsia and the role of Islamic Law in strengthening the reconstruction. The resuls of ths study lead to two main conclusions: ndonesia seeks to limit its use. People sentenced to death are given the opportunity to improve their behavior within a (10 years). If the convict shows good behavior during that period. This policy is considered as a last resort in situations that are difficult to reverse, as well as an attempt to balance in Indonesia. In addition, Islamic values as a source of law also strengthen the pro and con arguments, given that the death penalty in the Islamic view is still recognized as part of the legitimate practice of punishment
