Abstract

This study examines the influence of legal politics on law enforcement in Indonesia, focusing on the interaction between politics and law in the formation and implementation of law. In the Indonesian context, politics often dominates the creation and implementation of law, leading to an imbalance between the values of justice and political interests. This study identifies three main questions: how politics influences the formation and implementation of law, factors that influence the effectiveness of law enforcement, and the extent to which political intervention affects the independence of law enforcement agencies. Using a qualitative literature study method, this study analyzes relevant literature to understand the impact of politics on the Indonesian legal system. The results show that political intervention influences the formation of law, the substance of law, and law enforcement which is not always fair. This study recommends the need for a balance between politics and law, as well as strengthening the independence of law enforcement agencies in order to create a fair and transparent legal system

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors causing verbal bullying at SMPN X in Jakarta and their effects, as well as to examine solutions and the role of Islamic education in addressing verbal bullying cases at SMPN X in Jakarta. This research employs a mixed-method approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with religion teachers and school counselors, as well as questionnaires completed by students. The collected data is then analyzed comprehensively to identify patterns, themes, and relevant factors. The findings reveal three main factors contributing to verbal bullying: peer influence, family background, and social media. However, these three factors do not significantly affect students' communication ethics

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of students' knowledge of Sharia Peer-to-Peer (P2P) lending fintech on their preferences in choosing financial services. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey conducted on the 2020 class of Sharia Banking students at UIN SMDD Bukittinggi. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 79 respondents. The results show that the students' knowledge of Sharia P2P lending significantly affects their preference for selecting Sharia financial services. The study concludes that increasing financial literacy and knowledge of Sharia financial products is essential to encourage students' preferences towards Sharia-based financial services. The implications of these findings can be used to develop more effective educational programs to improve Sharia fintech literacy

Abstract

This study analyzes Toshihiko Izutsu's semantic approach in understanding the concept of "din" (religion) in the Qur'an. With an integrated linguistic method, Izutsu highlights the meaning of words through synchronous and diachronic perspectives, and makes use of modern and traditional theories. He revealed that "din" in the Qur'an has two main semantic values, namely obedience (ta'ah) and servitude ('ubudiyah), and shows the relevance of transforming its meaning in social and cultural contexts. This study also compares Izutsu's views with other figures such as Buya Hamka, Quraish Shihab, and al-Attas to explore the variation in the meaning of the term "din". Despite the criticism, Izutsu's semantic approach is still recognized as making a significant contribution in opening up new insights into the study of the Qur'an, including in the fields of Islamic ethics and philosophy. This study seeks to describe the uniqueness of Izutsu's interpretive method as an integrative interpretation that combines various contexts of the meaning of the Qur'an in a modern framework

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is very vulnerable to natural disasters due to its geographical location and climate conditions. Natural disasters not only cause physical losses, but also psychological trauma, especially in children who do not yet have the cognitive ability to understand the situation. This study aims to explain the role of social intervention in recovering children's trauma after a natural disaster. The method used is a literature study by analyzing various scientific articles related to social intervention and trauma healing in children. The results of the study showed that trauma healing programs based on play therapy, environmental education, and traditional games have proven effective in helping children overcome anxiety and increase their enthusiasm to return to normal life

Abstract

Instilling Islamic educational values through routine activities in students is good because it can form an Islamic personality. Based on this statement, the focus of this study is the instillation of Islamic educational values through routine activities at the Ummul Qura Amuntai Islamic Boarding School and the purpose of this study is to determine the instillation of Islamic educational values through routine activities at the Ummul Qura Amuntai Islamic Boarding School. The type of research used in this study is field research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources for this study are ustadz and ustadzah, as well as students, and data related to the problems discussed. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data processing uses data reduction, data display, and data verification. Furthermore, it is analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the instillation of Islamic educational values through routine activities at the Ummul Qura Amuntai Islamic Boarding School carried out by students from Monday to Sunday, namely the five daily prayers in congregation, reading istighosah or special wirid, teaching and learning activities of book studies, tadarus Al-Qur'an, mudzakarah, mutala'ah, tahlilan, reading of maulid habsyi, reading burdah, ta'lim assemblies on Wednesday afternoons and evenings, gotong royong, and morning exercise. There are activities that are carried out regularly, especially in the instillation of Islamic educational values with the aim of forming Islamic habits of students. The instillation of Islamic educational values through routine activities at the Ummul Qura Amuntai Islamic Boarding School includes the values of aqidah, sharia values, and moral values as a form of forming Islamic habits and personalities of students based on the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah. So that with the instillation of Islamic educational values, especially through routine activities, it is hoped that students will be able to practice them and increase the potential of Islamic education and shape students into people who believe and are devoted to Allah SWT

Abstract

This study discusses the methodology of Buya Mahmud Yunus' interpretation of natural phenomena in the Tafsir Al-Qur'an Al-Karim. The interpreted methodology applied involves social and scientific-based analysis with a modern approach. Through this interpretation, Buya Mahmud Yunus tries to relate modern scientific understanding, such as the Big Bang theory with verses that explain the phenomenon of natural creation. By prioritizing openness to the development of science, his interpretation provides a deeper insight into the relationship between science and revelation, as well as integrating the local socio-cultural context. This research highlights how Buya Mahmud Yunus's interpretation not only conveys literal meaning but also combines educational values for students and the general public in studying the Qur'an in a simple and contextual form

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rampant behaviour of ‘shaking hands’ which is increasingly being done by humans. Hand-shaking behaviour is a way of dressing people that is not as usual to look different with the aim of attracting the attention of others and acting arrogant. This handshaking behaviour is a behaviour that is disliked by the Prophet (SAW) and it is even mentioned that Allāh SWT threatens to dress the perpetrators of shaking hands in the world in clothes of humiliation in the hereafter. This research refers to identifying the object of reception in terms of informative and performative functions. Hadith Shuhrah in the film "Nyentri: A Short Film of the Hadith of Rasulullāh SAW’. Based on the research focus that has been formulated, this research specifically aims to find out or identify informative aspects and performative aspects as part of one of the methods of living hadith reception of Hadith Shuhrah in the film ‘Nyentri: A Short Film of the Hadith of Rasulullāh SAW’. To identify these problems, the research uses a descriptive qualitative method of case study type because it aims to describe the informative and performative aspects or forms of hadith reception in the film ‘ Nyentri: A Short Film of the Hadith of Rasulullāh SAW’. The findings or conclusions of this study are the existence of the hadith of Shuhrah recited by one of the characters in the film so that it is identified as a reception of the informative function aspect, after a search was made for the hadith, it was found that the hadith was narrated by Ibn Mājah and Abū Dawūd in their books. Furthermore, the response of the characters to Shuhrah ‘s hadith that had been recited in the film was identified as the reception of the performative function aspect

Abstract

Indonesia, with its diverse cultures and ethnic groups, has tremendous cultural wealth. Enculturation, as a process of internalizing cultural values and norms, is key in shaping individual identity. This research aims to examine how the process of enculturation affects human development, particularly in the context of Indonesia's cultural diversity. This research is based on the importance of understanding enculturation in the context of individual development. Enculturation involves not only cognitive learning, but also the process of internalizing values that shape individual character and behavior. This process takes place from an early age and involves various socialization agents such as family, school and society. This research is expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of the relationship between enculturation and human development. The results of this study can be used as a basis for the development of educational and cultural programs that are more effective in preserving cultural values and forming a young generation with character
