Abstract

Creative thinking skills constitute a fundamental competency that students must master to meet the challenges of 21st-century mathematics learning. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the Brain-Based Learning (BBL) model assisted by GeoGebra in improving the creative thinking skills of junior high school students in geometry. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental Non-Equivalent Control Group Design was employed, involving 64 seventh-grade students divided into an experimental class (n = 32) and a control class (n = 32). Data analysis included the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, Levene homogeneity test, paired and independent t-tests, N-Gain analysis, and Cohen's d effect size calculation. Results revealed that the experimental group's mean pretest score of 53.78 increased significantly to 70.16 in the posttest, while the control group improved from 51.03 to 61.31. The independent t-test yielded t = 4.2198 with p = 0.0001 (p < 0.05). The experimental group's N-Gain of 0.37 (moderate) exceeded the control group's 0.22 (low). Cohen's d = 1.055 confirmed a large effect of BBL assisted by GeoGebra.

Abstract

Student engagement is an important indicator for evaluating the quality of the learning process; however, its measurement in conventional classrooms still largely relies on subjective and labor-intensive manual observation. This study aims to establish a reproducible baseline for student engagement detection based on visual behavioral indicators using the YOLOv8 model on a public dataset. The working dataset was constructed from two subsets of the Student Class Behavior (SCB) Dataset and restructured into five behavioral classes: hand_raising, reading, writing, bowing_head, and turn_head, resulting in 9,274 image-label pairs split into 6,491 training, 1,854 validation, and 929 test samples. The experiment used YOLOv8n with an image size of 416, a batch size of 8, and 50 effective epochs in Google Colab. Performance was evaluated using precision, recall, mAP@0.5, and mAP@0.5:0.95. The results show that the model achieved a precision of 0.4429, a recall of 0.5393, mAP@0.5 of 0.4630, and mAP@0.5:0.95 of 0.3211. The best class-level performance was observed for writing (AP 0.635) and hand_raising (AP 0.597), while bowing_head (AP 0.288) and turn_head (AP 0.332) remained comparatively weak. These findings indicate that YOLOv8n is feasible as a reproducible baseline for visual student behavior detection, although annotation refinement, comparative experiments, and architectural optimization are still required to strengthen the scientific contribution and the feasibility of real-world classroom deployment

Abstract

Layanan administrasi pada tingkat pemerintahan desa saat ini menghadapi tantangan besar dalam hal peningkatan efisiensi, transparansi, dan aksesibilitas bagi masyarakat luas. Proses pelayanan administrasi di Desa Siwalan selama ini masih didominasi oleh tata kelola manual untuk pengajuan berkas persuratan maupun penanganan pengaduan. Hal tersebut berdampak pada penumpukan antrean, lamanya waktu tunggu verifikasi, serta keterbatasan kanal informasi real-time bagi warga desa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi pelayanan publik desa berbasis web dengan menerapkan kombinasi instrumen mesin inferensi Rule Based System dan integrasi notifikasi otomatis WhatsApp API. Metode pengembangan sistem dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan model Waterfall yang terstruktur secara sekuensial. Pengujian terhadap seluruh logika alur program internal dan aturan keputusan dilakukan melalui metode White Box Testing. Logika mesin inferensi dibangun menggunakan sekumpulan aturan logis kondisional IF-THEN untuk mengklasifikasikan status layanan (Baru, Diproses, Diterima, Ditolak) berdasarkan parameter validitas berkas secara otomatis. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi ini berhasil memangkas birokrasi layanan operasional desa. Pengujian White Box mengonfirmasi tingkat keberhasilan fungsional dan keandalan logika sistem sebesar 100%. Integrasi notifikasi WhatsApp mampu percepat penyampaian konfirmasi status pelayanan publik kepada masyarakat secara instan dan transparan.

Abstract

The recording of student behavior points at Poncol State Vocational High School still relies on paper forms and separate logbooks. This manual procedure leads to delays in data verification, the risk of miscalculations, and a lack of transparency. This website stores data on students’ positive behavior digitally and centrally. To process this data, the system uses a rule-based algorithm through if-then logic. Built using the Laravel framework and MySQL, this program includes features for student activity submissions, teacher verification, and point calculations. Functional testing was conducted using the Black Box method. The test results show that every feature on the admin, teacher, and student pages functions as originally designed. This system is capable of automatically determining eligibility for Field Work Practice (PKL) and grade promotion based on minimum point thresholds. This automated procedure replaces manual record-keeping on paper summary sheets.

Abstract

Pengelolaan stok barang merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam mendukung kelancaran operasional usaha ritel. Store Vape SVP ID Ponorogo masih menerapkan pencatatan stok secara manual sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan ketidakteraturan data, keterlambatan pembaruan stok, serta human error. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem pengelolaan stok barang berbasis web menggunakan framework Laravel dengan MySQL sebagai database management system. Sistem dikembangkan dengan menerapkan algoritma Sequential Search pada fitur pencarian data barang dan algoritma Selection Sort pada fitur pengurutan data. Metode pengembangan sistem meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil menyediakan fitur autentikasi pengguna, dashboard, pengelolaan data kategori, data barang, transaksi barang masuk, riwayat transaksi, serta pemantauan stok menipis. Pengujian fungsional menunjukkan seluruh fitur berjalan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Selain itu, hasil White Box Testing menunjukkan algoritma Sequential Search memiliki nilai Cyclomatic Complexity sebesar 3 dengan tiga independent path, sedangkan algoritma Selection Sort memiliki nilai Cyclomatic Complexity sebesar 4 dengan empat independent path. Seluruh jalur independen berhasil dieksekusi tanpa ditemukan kesalahan logika program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan stok barang melalui pencatatan data yang terintegrasi, mempercepat proses pencarian dan pengurutan data, serta mendukung penyediaan informasi persediaan yang lebih akurat dan terstruktur.
