Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the pattern of communication established between homeroom teachers and grade VIII students of Smp Negeri 6 Soromandi, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, 2) factors inhibiting interpersonal communication of homeroom teachers in motivating learning for grade VIII students of Smp Negeri 6 Soromandi, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. This type of research includes qualitative descriptive research. This study's data sources were homeroom teachers, BK teachers, and students. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing techniques and data analysis are done through data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study show, that 1) the communication pattern used by homeroom teachers in motivating the learning of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Soromandi, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, uses primary communication patterns, secondary communication patterns, and circular communication patterns. 2) homeroom teachers face 2 (two) obstacles obstacles in motivating learning for grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Soromandi, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, namely: Semantic barriers (derived from language differences) and psychological barriers during the communication process, especially in feedback.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the Role of Caregivers in the Efforts Formation of Children's Character at the Fitri Orphanage, Sungguminasa VillageSomba Opu District, Gowa Regency. With the formulation of the problem; 1) How is the model applied by caregivers in building the character of children in the orphanage Fitri's upbringing? 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors of caregivers in shaping the character of children in the Fitri Orphanage? The research objectives namely to find out what model the caregivers apply at the Fitri Orphanage in the formation of children's character, to get information about what become supporting and inhibiting factors for caregivers in forming the character of the children at the Fitri Orphanage, Sungguminasa Village, Somba District Opu Gowa Regency. The type of research used in this research is research qualitative descriptive attitude using a welfare approach. The source of data from this study is the Head of the Fitri Orphanage, Caregivers of the Fitri Orphanage, Foster Children at the Fitri Orphanage, and School Teachers from children in the Fitri Orphanage. Research tools used in research are observation, interview guide, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Based on the results of data collection and processing, it can be concluded the following results: 1) the character formation model that is applied in Fitri Orphanage, namely: a) the exemplary parenting model; b) approach models affection; c) the model of the advice/counseling approach; d) formation models character with refraction; e) Character building model with reward and Punishment. 2) Supporting and inhibiting factors in character building Fitri Orphanage, namely: 1) Supporting factors: a) Orphanage environment that conducive; b) Family support; c) There is cooperation between caregivers and teachers. 2) Inhibiting factors: a) Lack of resources; b) Traumatic conditions or violence; c) Lack of trained caregivers.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the management of the services of the Umrah congregation of PT. Arrafsyah Safari Haramain and supporting factors and inhibiting factors for congregation services. This research was conducted to know the Umrah Congregation Service Management PT. Arrafsyah Safari Haramain and supporting factors and inhibiting factors for congregation services. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a service management approach the researcher uses this approach with several parties who are considered key informants who are used as appropriate informants to provide the answers needed by researchers related to the Umrah congregation service management PT. Arrafsyah Safari Haramain and supporting factors and inhibiting factors. The data collection method was carried out by observing, documenting, and interviewing the main director and staff of PT.Arrafsyah Safari Haramain. The data sources used are primary and secondary. Then data processing techniques and data analysis are carried out through three stages, namely data reduction data display, comparative analysis, and conclusion. The result of this study indicates that the Service Management of PT. Arrafsyah Safari Haramain provided good service. Evidenced by the response and comfort experienced by the pilgrims starting from departure, accommodation, consumption, and transportation in Saudi Arabia to returning to their homeland. However, even though it has proven its good service, PT. Arrafsyah Safari Haramain sometimes experiences a few problems, such as using his passport when he is in Jeddah. The supporting factors include adequate infrastructure and having professional supervisors and employees with complete operating permits. The inhibiting factor that disrupts the course of service activities to the congregation is the amount of competition that exists. The implications of this research in the implementation of services management are quite good by providing more intensive guidance and direction to create an impression and satisfaction for the congregation maintain harmonious relations and improve the quality of employees so that good cooperation is created.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is the impact of the cancellation of Hajj departure for prospective elderly pilgrims at the Ministry of Religion of Majene Regency in 2022. The formulation of the problem in this research is: What is the impact of canceling Hajj departure for prospective elderly pilgrims at the Ministry of Religion of Majene Regency? And what are the motivational efforts made by the Ministry of Religion of Majene Regency for prospective elderly pilgrims who cancel their pilgrimage in 2022? This type of research is qualitative, with a missionary and communication approach. The sources of this research are prospective elderly pilgrims, the Head of the PHU Section, and the Administration Staff of PHU Data Presentation and Publication. Data collection methods used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study explain that there are two forms of impact from canceling the pilgrimage departure for prospective elderly pilgrims at the Ministry of Religion of Majene Regency, namely the positive impact and the negative impact. The negative impact is the negative result of canceling the departure of the haj for prospective elderly pilgrims, namely worry about age, worry about rising haj fees, and changes in behavior. Meanwhile, the positive impact is a positive result of canceling the departure of the hajj for the elderly hajj pilgrims, namely surrendering to Allah swt., maintaining health, and preparing for a more mature pilgrimage. Motivating efforts carried out by the Ministry of Religion of Majene Regency, namely through face-to-face and outreach.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the activities of the Islamic Broadcasting and Communication Talent Development (I-brand) Institute in carrying out activities and to find out the effectiveness of the activities of the Islamic Broadcasting and Communication Talent Development (I-brand) Institute as a medium for student actualization of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Department. The research method used is qualitative research, namely research that produces data in the form of words or actions both orally and in writing. The source of the data in this study is field data obtained directly from informants without intermediaries. In this study using a scientific approach, namely communication. For the method of data collection is done by observation (observation), interviews, and documentation. Then for the data analysis technique used is the inductive analysis technique. The results of the study show that the activities of the I-brand Institution in carrying out activities are by forming a work program that cannot be separated from the Tripotency of Students of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Department such as Broadcasting, Public Speaking and Writing. Then carry out several stages in carrying out activities, namely planning, organizing, directing as when planning activities, namely communicating with the head of the Department and I-brand seniors, then organizing, namely forming several fields that will be responsible for the activities to be carried out, then providing direction so that activities run effectively and in accordance with the initial plan. The effectiveness of the activities of the I-brand Institute can be measured by several conditions, namely economics, achievement of goals and satisfaction in the activity, the training activities carried out by I-brand have been effective because the activities carried out are quite economical and achieve the goals according to what they want and feel satisfied after participating this activity because after participating in the activity they can hone their skills in the fields of Broadcasting, Public Speaking and Writing, and gain useful knowledge that they have not gotten before. The implications of the research based on the results obtained are for the Institute (I-brand) to continue to develop the Tripotency of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Students in the fields of Broadcasting, Public Speaking and Writing. And to students of the Department of Communication and Islamic Broadcasting at UIN Alauddin Makassar, that joining the Institute (I-brand) can provide added value and also become a place to explore and develop your potential. Abstract

The main research problem is "What is the counselor's strategy in providing work motivation guidance to class IIB Sidrap detention center employees?" What are the inhibiting and supporting factors of the motivational guidance strategy carried out by counselors against Class IIB Sidrap detention center employees? This study uses a descriptive qualitative research type which is located in the Class II B Detention Center in Sidenreng Rappang. The research approach used is the guidance approach and counseling approach. The primary data source for this writing is that in this study the key informants were Iskandar DJ, AMd, Ip, SH as the head of the Sidrap Class II B Detention Center, and an additional informant, namely Yabu. S. Sos As Head of Sidrap Class IIB Detention Center Sub-Management, as well as Class IIB Sidrap Detention Center Staff. With a total of 45 employees plus 8 Civil Servant Candidates, the number of employees assigned to the Internal Compliance Operational Unit is 5 people. Secondary data sources include books, theses, journals, literature, and other data that can be used as a complement. Data collection methods are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of this study indicate that there are two steps used by counselors in providing work motivation guidance to employees of Class II Sidrap Detention Center, namely: Taking a personal approach or individual counseling approach to employees of Class II B Detention Center in Sidrap and open discussion with employees and counselor. Obstacles in providing work motivation to employees of the Sidrap Class II B Detention Center are employees who find it difficult to accept suggestions or seem stubborn, as well as the selfish nature of employees.

Abstract

This study discusses the Application of Production Management for the Pagi Indah Program on Telstar Radio 102.7 FM. The aim is to find out the Pagi Indah production management program, including Pre Production, Production, and Post Production. Apart from that, it is also to analyze the solutions made by Telstar FM Radio in overcoming the challenges faced in the discussion about the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Pagi Indah production program. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, and the research informants are experts, the Pagi Indah program crew, and the Pagi Indah program listeners. As for the data collection method by observing (observations), interviews, and documentation. Data processing techniques and data analysis were carried out by searching and systematically compiling the data obtained through Miles and Huberman's qualitative data analysis model. The results of this study show that. 1) The production process of the Pagi Indah Program includes elements of production management that are applied, namely planning or planning, Organizing which is applied to the pre-production stage, Mobilization, Coordination and Motivation which is applied to the production stage, then Communication and Leadership which is applied to the three stages of production at once namely Pre Production, Production, and Post Production. Meanwhile, Supervision is applied to the Production and Post Production stages. 2). The obstacles and challenges faced by the Pagi Indah Program are the lack of human resources and challenges in contacting resource persons. The Pagi Indah crew program overcame these obstacles and challenges by improving the quality of its human resources and providing ideas by preparing several resource options as a solution to the challenge of contacting sources.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how to empower the community through the Family Hope Program in Tinambung Village, Pamboang District, Majene Regency. From this main problem, the researcher describes the problem in two sub-chapters, namely: 1) How is the implementation of the poor community empowerment program through PKH in Tinambung Village, Pamboang District, Majene Regency? 2) How is the development of the people of Tinambung Village, Pamboang District, after receiving assistance from the Family Hope Program? This study uses a qualitative approach the method used in this study is the narrative method and data collection is done using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources in this study are divided into two types: primary data sources consisting of five people, while secondary data sources come from relevant documents. The researcher also used a purposive sampling technique where the researcher selected informants according to the criteria and had a close relationship with the researcher. The analysis technique has three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of the study show that: 1) The process of implementing the poor community empowerment program through PKH in Tinambung Village includes the regional and participant selection stages, the initial meeting and validation of prospective participants, the verification of eligibility, the data updating stage, and the initial fund disbursement stage, then 2) The development of the Tinambung Village community after receiving the Family Hope Program assistance, namely changes in economic conditions, changes in the quality of education, and changes in the quality of health.

Abstract

The main problems in this study are divided into two: 1) Interpersonal Communication of Parents to Gamers in overcoming Mobile Legends Online Game Addiction in Garuntungan Village, Kindang District, Bulukumba Regency. 2) Parents' Barriers and Solutions in Communication to Overcome Mobile Legends Online Game Addiction. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research with a research approach is an interpersonal communication approach—data collection using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data sources were obtained from parents and children addicted to online games. Data processing techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation, as well as conclusion drawing and verification. The results of this study show the characteristics of interpersonal communication. Namely, openness (parents and children express all their thoughts openly without fear and shame to say them), empathy (parents' attitudes that care about their children), and supportive attitudes (parents provide support for their children to stop or reduce their activities, namely playing mobile legends online games). Parental obstacles in overcoming addiction to mobile legends online games are 1) Personal obstacles occur because the child does not listen to what parents say and only focuses more on the game. 2) Fun with their world, children only focus on playing online games on their cellphones without caring about what is around them. The solution is to give them a job so that they can forget the game and also put their children in boarding schools so they can't hold cell phones.

Abstract

Village Direct Cash Transfer is assistance sourced from village funds in the form of cash distributed to underprivileged communities to help for community welfare, so the distribution must be based on the principle of justice so that the provision of assistance becomes effective. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. This research is qualitative research with a research approach to social welfare disciplines. The results of this study show that the implementation and mechanism of aid distribution through several data collection channels, consolidation and verification, and validation and results, as for the application of social justice principles in the distribution of Village Cash Direct Transfers, namely the Principle of Justice for attention and provision of individual rights, the Principle of Justice for attention and provision of individual rights, the principle of justice of difference (the difference principle) and the affair equality of opportunity and the principle of procedural justice.
