Abstract

A laboratory support facility called "Heating Mantle" for aquadest distillation is urgently needed in the laboratory to be used as a cleaning tool as well as a mixture of chemicals in the laboratory. This research aims to make it easier to obtain aquadest water and reduce the high price of distillation equipment on the market, so researchers make a Heating Mantle tool. The method used in this research is Research and Development (RnD), by developing from previous research. The development carried out is in the control of the heating system using an electric stove and is equipped with a timer feature to make it easier for users to regulate and monitor distillation process, as well as with the DS18B20 sensor used to measure the water temperature in the chamber whose results will be displayed by OLED. The results of aquadest measurements with PDAM tap water samples have a pH level of 8.2 and Aquadest has a pH level of 7.9. The product test results can be concluded that when the product is tested on PDAM water, the result is that the water can be pure aquadest water. In the validation of the tool from material experts, the results were 93.3% and media experts obtained 86.6%. When seen in the feasibility category table, the result is "Very Eligible".

Abstract

Back And Leg Dynamometer is a tool used to measure the components of back muscle strength, leg muscles of athletes, patients and workers to evaluate the physical status of performance and task demands. Because it will be beneficial for physical development. The method used in this study is Research and Development (RnD), by developing from previous research. The development carried out is in the addition of measurements for the leg and back muscle modes with a classification system that is carried out automatically with the aim of facilitating the user in measuring the strength of the leg muscles and back muscles. The results of product testing from data in the field can be summarized as follows. Comparison results of the Digital Back and Leg Dynamometer designed with the Analog Back and Leg Dynamometer have a measurement error value of 3%. The voltage generated by the battery is 10.59 Vdc with an error value of 1.59 Vdc and an error accuracy of 0.17%. On Arduino Nano measurements the resulting voltage is 4.75 Vdc with an error value of 0.24 Vdc and an accuracy of errors 4.98%.

Abstract

Accuracy in diagnosis codification based on ICD-10 is an important aspect in improving the quality of morbidity data and supporting healthcare services. The use of the fourth character in ICD-10 plays a role in providing more specific diagnostic information. In practice, inaccurate coding can reduce the validity of medical record data and affect health reporting systems. This study aimed to analyze the accuracy of ICD-10 diagnosis codification on the fourth character for the 10 most common diseases at Brimob Polda South Kalimantan Clinic. The research used a descriptive quantitative method through medical record audits of inpatient data. Data collection focused on identifying the 10 most common diseases and evaluating the conformity between medical diagnoses and ICD-10 codes assigned by health officers. The results showed that the most dominant diseases were Z00 (general examination), J00 (acute nasopharyngitis), and K04.1 (necrosis of pulp). Several diagnoses still used unspecified fourth-character codes such as J02.9 and R50.9, indicating limitations in coding specificity. The study concluded that although disease distribution had been documented properly, the accuracy of fourth-character ICD-10 coding still requires improvement to support more accurate and specific health information systems

Abstract

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) play an important role in improving the efficiency and quality of healthcare services. However, the implementation of EMR also introduces risks related to data security and patient confidentiality, requiring proper user behavior in accordance with information security principles. This study aimed to describe staff behavior in implementing EMR data security and confidentiality at Islamic Hospital Banjarmasin based on the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) principles. This study employed a descriptive quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The population and sample consisted of 20 EMR users, including healthcare service staff and IT personnel, selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed descriptively using frequency distribution and percentage calculations. The results showed that staff behavior in implementing EMR security and confidentiality was categorized as very high, with an overall percentage of 89.53%. The Integrity dimension obtained the highest score (93.96%), followed by Confidentiality (91.15%) and Availability (85.34%). Although all dimensions were categorized as very high, several weaknesses were still identified, including irregular password changes, inconsistent logout practices, and limited information security training. The study concluded that EMR security and confidentiality implementation at Islamic Hospital Banjarmasin had been conducted very well. However, improvements are still needed in user discipline and information security reinforcement
