Abstract

Training in Javanese traditional dance requires detailed correction of posture and limb positions, but limited access to instructors can hinder independent learning and increase the risk of repeatedly performing incorrect movements. This study aims to design and evaluate a Javanese traditional dance movement assessment system based on pose estimation using a camera, MediaPipe Pose, OpenCV, and Arduino as an independent training medium for artists. An experimental design method was applied through system requirement identification, hardware and software design, reference dataset preparation, pose detection algorithm implementation, feedback integration, and system accuracy and response testing. The camera captured dancers' movements in real time, while MediaPipe Pose extracted 33 body landmarks. The user's pose coordinates were compared with reference poses using Euclidean distance and a predetermined threshold. The system was tested on five basic Gambyong dance movements involving five participants from beginner to advanced levels. Each participant performed every movement three times, producing 75 movement samples. The results showed an average accuracy of 87% under lighting conditions of 300–500 lux and movement speeds of 60–80 bpm. The system detected angular differences of 5–10 degrees, particularly in the arms and legs, and provided visual feedback indicating correct or incorrect movements. Accuracy decreased to approximately 65–70% under low lighting, fast movements, and partial body occlusion. Therefore, the system is feasible for further development as an interactive and economical dance training tool that supports cultural preservation, although dataset enrichment and improved detection of complex movements remain necessary. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the voltage regulation and control current consumption characteristics of a two-stage Cascaded DC-DC Boost Converter (5 V to 12 V, and 12 V to 97 V) utilized as a power supply for medical therapy electrostimulators. The experimental method was conducted by integrating the power supply block with an active load configuration consisting of a Voltage Controlled Current Source (VCCS) circuit. Testing was performed by varying the therapy current from 2 mA to 10 mA at a frequency of 100 Hz across three variations of simulated patient tissue resistance (470 $\Omega$, 560 $\Omega$, and 1 k$\Omega$). The experimental results indicate that the open-loop cascaded power supply system undergoes a static voltage drop of 24.32% from the ideal regulation (97 VDC to 73.4 VDC) due to internal parasitic losses and initial loading of the control circuit. Nevertheless, this 73.4 VDC voltage amplitude exhibits robust horizontal stability without secondary fluctuations throughout the dynamic loading range (2 mA to 10 mA), thereby providing sufficient voltage headroom to ensure precise current regulation linearity in the VCCS block without waveform clipping. The value of this research lies in providing an empirical analysis of open-loop cascaded power supply regulation characteristics in maintaining accurate therapy current dosages for portable medical instrumentation. Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a common complaint experienced by women during menstruation and may interfere with daily activities. Warm compress therapy is widely used as a non-pharmacological method to reduce pain; however, traditional compress methods have limitations in maintaining stable temperatures. This study aims to develop a microcontroller-based electric compress prototype capable of producing stable and controlled heat. The system was designed using a Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) heating element, DS18B20 temperature sensors, and a 16×2 I2C LCD display. Temperature control was implemented using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) with an operating temperature range of 38°C to 45°C. System testing included temperature sensor testing, MOSFET module testing, temperature stability evaluation, and setpoint response testing. The results indicate that the system was able to maintain stable temperatures within the specified range and demonstrated good response to temperature adjustments. The developed prototype has the potential to become a practical and safe technology-based heat therapy device for dysmenorrhea pain management. Abstract

In recent years, heavy rainfall has caused slopes to fracture in Sirimau District, resulting in landslides that have yet to be addressed by the government. This is the Waehakila Hamlet, Warasia, located in Sirimau District. Complex geological conditions, high year-round rainfall, and increasingly dense residential activity on the slopes make this area highly vulnerable to land instability. Soil research uses the SNI method for property testing, to determine soil characteristics using the USCS and AASTHO methods, while to determine slope stability using the Fellenius and Bishop methods. Based on the results of the tests and data analysis carried out, it was concluded that the slope was in a stable condition with a safety factor using the Fellenius method F = 4.93 ok >1.5 and the Bishop method F = 4.93 ok >1.5 according to the location conditions and soil characteristics and was classified as a mixed slope type. Abstract

Traffic growth and overloaded vehicles increase the cumulative axle loading received by pavement and may accelerate the reduction of road service life. This study aims to analyze the effect of excessive vehicle loading on the reduction of flexible pavement design life along A.Y. Patty Road STA 000+000–000+400, Ambon City. A quantitative descriptive approach was applied. Primary data were obtained through Average Daily Traffic surveys and pavement condition observations conducted on 6, 9, 10, and 11 August 2025. Secondary data consisted of the existing pavement structure, road network maps, and technical data from the Ambon City Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency. The analysis included vehicle classification and calculations of the Vehicle Damage Factor, Equivalent Single Axle Load, and Cumulative Equivalent Standard Axle Load, followed by traffic growth simulations of 5%, 10%, and 15% based on the 2024 Indonesian Pavement Design Manual. The results show that heavy vehicles contributed the greatest pavement damage, with VDF values of 2.328545 for two-axle trucks and 4.5840272 for articulated trucks. At the end of the analysis period in 2034, cumulative ESAL reached 1,674,841.38 under the 5% scenario, 2,664,367.80 under the 10% scenario, and 11,793,313.88 under the 15% scenario. The differences in remaining pavement life compared with the planned condition reached 5%, 10%, and 15%, respectively. Therefore, higher traffic growth and vehicle loading accelerate the consumption of pavement capacity and reduce its service life. Vehicle-load control and earlier maintenance are required to preserve road performance in accordance with the planned service life. Keywords: overloading, Equivalent Single Axle Load, Pavement Design Life.
