Abstract

Web security analysis is a very important thing to do, especially for organizations or agencies that depend on web technology in carrying out their business activities and managing data and information. The popularity of web-based applications makes the web itself vulnerable to security threats, such as cyberattacks, which can have an impact on data integrity and confidentiality. One of the web security assessment analyses can be done by penetration testing. Web security assessment testing needs to be done to identify vulnerabilities then if the vulnerability is determined it will be easier to develop an effective mitigation strategy. This research will conduct experiments with penetration testing methods by simulating web attacks with OWASP top 10. The results of the research will be recommendations given including the implementation of security configurations more optimally, CMS updates, strict access control settings, and increased security awareness for users who are directly connected to website-based applications. Configuration errors can also result in valuable information being extracted from the system. Conducting regular web security analysis, organizations or agencies using web-based applications can identify and overcome vulnerabilities before they are exploited by irresponsible parties. This enables organizations to maintain the security and integrity of web systems, as well as protect critical digital assets, especially valuable data.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the use of Machine Learning in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to analyze user sentiment in the social media application TikTok. The growth and development of the TikTok application among users, makes it important for users to understand users' views and feelings towards the content they consume by exploring various Machine Learning techniques that can be used to classify TikTok user sentiment based on text produced using NLP methods, it is hoped that this can provide useful insights. valuable in understanding TikTok users' responses and preferences to the content they encounter on the TikTok platform.

Abstract

With the rapid development of the TikTok social media application, especially on the e-commerce platform, often called the TikTok shop, which is the public's choice for shopping online, it is important to understand how the content filter algorithm can influence the visibility and success of UMKM on this platform. TikTok Shop it self has become a hot topic of conversation among the public, which is a hot topic and is the target market for e-commerce platforms. The high volume of content uploaded every day is a new challenge that arises to ensure that the content presented is in line with UMKM brand standards and values. This also aims to show that the content filter algorithm in TikTok Shop has a significant role in helping UMKM maintain products as well as to avoid inappropriate content. It has been found that several UMKM face obstacles in understanding the policies and procedures set by the TikTok Shop algorithm, as well as difficulties in optimizing content visibility. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting an analysis regarding the effectiveness of the content filter algorithm in the TikTok Shop application on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM).

Abstract

TikTok, a short video-sharing app launched by ByteDance in 2016, has become a global phenomenon with millions of daily active users worldwide. This research explores TikTok's social dynamics and impact on various aspects of its users' lives. The main focus of the study is on how the app facilitates creativity, social interaction, and the formation of digital identities, particularly among Generation Z. Data was collected through survey methods, in-depth interviews, and content analysis from popular TikTok videos. The findings of the study show that TikTok has succeeded in creating an inclusive and dynamic platform, where users can express themselves freely through various video formats. However, there are also concerns related to privacy, data security, and the psychological impact of excessive content consumption.

Abstract

User interface (UI) design plays a crucial role in the user experience on social media applications. Instagram, as one of the largest social media platforms, has set high standards when it comes to inspiring and aesthetic UIs. The study aims to analyze the UI design elements on Instagram that contribute to user satisfaction and comfort. This study examines aspects such as layout, navigation, design consistency, use of iconography, color schemes, and application responsiveness. The methods used include descriptive analysis of Instagram UI components, user satisfaction surveys, and usability teststo identify potential areas for improvement. The results of the study show that the Instagram user interface is designed with a focus on ease of navigation, simplicity, and high visual consistency. The use of recognizable icons and attractive color schemes helps enhance the visual experience and make it easier for users to interact User surveys show high satisfaction levels related to the accessibility of key features such as photo/video uploads, content browsing through feeds and Stories, and social interaction through comments and direct messages. However, the study also found several areas that are can be improved, such as optimizing the display on devices with various screen sizes and improving personalization features for the user experience. Overall, Instagram's UI design managed to create a positive user experience through a user-centric design approach. The findings of this study are expected to provide insights for designers and developers of social media applications in creating smooth.

Abstract

CCTV is essential for maintaining security and increasing operational efficiency. This research helps evaluate the use of CCTV in improving monitoring management of the Apron Movement Control (AMC) unit on the air side of Kualanamu International Airport. AMC is responsible for managing the movement of aircraft, vehicles and personnel on the apron. With the increasing complexity and volume of air traffic, adequate surveillance systems have become increasingly important. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research results show that the use of CCTV provides various benefits, especially for AMC officers on the air side of Kualanamu International Airport. Utilization of CCTV can increase security, operational efficiency and safety.

Abstract

Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport Pekanbaru is equipped with an Airfield Lighting System (ALS) just like airports in general. ALS is a visual landing aid that functions to assist and serve aircraft during takeoff, landing and taxiing so that they can move efficiently and safely. The ALS is supplied by CCR (Constant Current Regulator). CCR is a constant current power supply used to supply ALS equipment. The CCR building at Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport Pekanbaru is also equipped with a lightning rod with an electrostatic type which is intended to be able to flow lightning currents directly to the ground and not hit the building and not damage the electronic equipment in the CCR building. But in November there was a damage to the CCR module of the PAPI lamp so that the CCR could not operate. This is due to a strong lightning strike that results in a "Local Bus Down Error" on the CCR of the PAPI lamp. The factor that affected the occurrence of the event was the poor quality of the lightning rod grounding system in the building where the value of the lightning rod grounding system was 5.7Ω, the value had exceeded the 2011 PUIL rules where the value of a good grounding system was <5Ω, so improvements were needed to the value of the lightning rod grounding system in the building in accordance with the 2011 PUIL rules.

Abstract

Implementation of recommendation algorithms in social media applications to create social networks in urban communities using social media that is evenly distributed in urban life, an understanding of how recommendation algorithms can be utilized to expand and strengthen social networks is becoming increasingly needed. Recommendation algorithms have a complex role in facilitating meaningful interactions within social media platforms, tailored specifically to the dynamics of urban environments. Through a mixed approach that combines literature analysis and empirical investigation, this research explains the impact of recommendation algorithms on social interactions in digital environments. These algorithms play an important role in filtering relevant content and enabling individuals to connect with like-minded people, thereby driving the expansion of social networks. However, challenges related to privacy and the risks of establishing closed information spaces were also identified. This research highlights the importance of finding a balance between harnessing the power of recommendation algorithms to improve social networks and protecting user privacy and information diversity. These implications are not only relevant for social media developers, but also for policymakers and other stakeholders involved in designing inclusive and sustainable digital environments for urban communities.

Abstract

The entertainment industry has experienced significant paradigmatic changes thanks to breakthroughs in media technology. Innovations in media technology have been a key driver in the transformation of the entertainment industry, changing the way entertainment content is produced, distributed and consumed. This paper aims to present a comprehensive picture of how media technology innovations have changed the landscape of the entertainment industry. The biggest change brought about by media technology innovation is its impact on content production. In the past, entertainment content production was limited by budgets and expensive physical infrastructure. Abstract

The use of VHF Air to Ground (VHF A/G) radio equipment as a means of communication between the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) Tower and the aircraft must be guaranteed to be available. To serve the communication needs in the Jakarta Air Traffic Service (JATSC) area, it is necessary to place VHF radios in several locations called VHF Extended Range (VHF-ER). In the VHF-ER system, the information signal from the VHF radio is transmitted through the Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) transmission line. In this report, the problem of TX VHF-ER Radio that cannot be used to communicate is discussed. Where on the Radio there is a menu that affects the running of communication, namely the polarities menu. In this menu, there are values that must be adjusted so that communication can run smoothly, namely 14V, 0V, and -14V. When it cannot be used to communicate, the value on the menu is 14, then it is lowered to -14 while checking the power supply, interconnection and cable jumpers on the serial and LAN ports.
