Abstract

This study aimed to test the influence of Interest Rate (SBI), Exchange Rate of Rupiah, Inflation, and International Exchange Index (Nikkei 225 Index and Hang Seng Index) on Composite Stock Price Index in The Period 2008-2012. Analytical techniques used were linear regression, while hypothesis test used t - test and F - test with significance level of 5%. The classical assumptions test used in this study include normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation test. The research prove that Interest Rate (SBI) and Exchange Rate of Rupiah had a negative effect and significant to Composite Stock Price Index, Inflation had a negative effect and not significant to Composite Stock Price Index Meanwhile, Nikkei 225 Index and Hang Seng Index had a positive and significant effect to Composite Stock Price Index.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the brand equity elements to the purchasing decisions of Toyota Kijang Innova on PT. Nasmoco Pemuda Semarang. The type of research used is explanatory research with 95 respondents taken using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique used is linier regression with SPSS for windows. The results showed that the brand awareness have a positive effect on purchasing decisions, brand association have a positive effect on purchasing decision, perceived quality have a positive effect on purchasing decisions, and Brand loyalty have a positive effect on purchasing decisions. Brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, and brand loyalty are jointly contributing positively towards purchasing decisions. Advised to PT. Nasmoco Pemuda Semarang needs to make improvements in marketing strategy to attract more customers in the future, so that it can be more exciting to the consumers. Wear jingle song or attractive slogans to be remembered by the consumers, Making a good marketing communications to get new customers, also to decide the price appropriated to the specifications and quality products offered to create a purchasing decisions.

Abstract

BlackBerry smartphone is one of the leading products in Indonesia. BlackBerry has a high market share compared with other brands of smartphone, but BlackBerry users consumer satisfaction index has declined. It is very influential on consumer loyalty to BlackBerry mobile phone. This study aimed to determine the effect of product quality, price and customer value on customer satisfaction BlackBerry mobile phone. Population in this research is a BlackBerry mobile phone users in FISIP UNDIP Semarang. Samples were taken 100 respondents and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique, and then using accidental sampling technique. Measurement scale using a Likert scale. Data analysis using simple linear regression and multiple regression test with SPSS 18.0. Based on the survey results revealed that the quality of the product, price, and customer value and significant positive impact on customer satisfaction, either partially or simultaneously. Variable “product quality” affects “customer satisfaction” that is equal to 46.6%.Variables “customer satisfaction” affect prices by 27,1%. Variables “customer value” affect “customer satisfaction” that is equal to 51,0%. Simultaneously, the variable product quality, price, and customer value affects customer satisfaction at 72.2%. It means that the better the quality of the product, the price according to customer desires, and high customer value, it can improve customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The success of a company is usually influenced by the performance of the employee or the work accomplished by an employee in performing duties in accordance with the responsibilities. From the result of performance PDAM Grobogan in recent 5 years, still need to be improved even of the operational aspect there was a decrease. Many factor which could be the cause the decline in performance among others organizational culture, motivation, and salary. The purposes of this study to determine whether there is influence between organizational culture, motivation and salaries to employees performances in Grobogan. This type of research used is explanatory research. The number of samples in this study was 50 respondents drawn by accidental sampling. Multiple regression analysis is Y = 8.551 + 0.193 X1 + 0.344 X2 + 0.066 X3 so it can be seen that the variable organizational culture, motivation and salary is jointly positive effect on variable performance , and which has the greatest influence motivation is variable . Hypothesis test shows that the variable organizational culture, motivation and affect the performance of the employee salary. This is demonstrated by the achievement of all the variable t is greater than t table is 1.677. Organizational culture variables have t 8.682, 7.395 motivation, and variable salary 6,100. As for the F test obtained F count of 28.270. And all of these variables were tested at a significance level of 5 %. Thus the hypothesis is accepted.The advice given to the company is prioritizes honesty in work and reject any form of tip from customer.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of compensation and work motivation on PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Terminal Peti Kemas Semarang. The type of research used is explanatory research with 67 respondents taken using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Engineering data on this research using interview and questionnaire. The analysis technique using validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test and F test with the tools SPSS 20.0. The results showed that compensation effect on employee performance, motivation of work effect on employee performance. Compensation and work motivation  are jointly effect on employee performance. Advised to PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Terminal Peti Kemas Semarang could give money to eat and the appropriate and proper bonuses with time already determined earlier, giving companies a sort of intensive and ongoing training, seminars are themed work motivation, as well as controlling to each employee on the employee’s performance is already done and occasionally provide some sort of briefing directly to each employee who has a low performance so that going forward is expected to reduce the level of misconduct as well as fostering and enhancing employee initiative for finish the job on time.
