Abstract

So intense business competition in the modern era, companies must pay attention to the quality of its human resources. Because human resources are the most important in running a company. this is because employees can act as thinkers, planners in company activities that require the company to achieve the desired goals. In this company expects a high increase in the company to encourage the progress of the company. but in reality the performance of employees at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pos Semarang is still relatively low, as evidenced by the problem of lack of discipline in work, mistakes in work so that it is less effective and efficient at work and problems that are less supportive. This of course is a challenge for the company because it will hamper the achievement of company goals. This research aims to study work competence and the physical work environment on the performance of the employees of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pos Semarang. The type of research used is explanatory research, the sampling technique of this study used a saturated sample technique of 70 respondents. The technique of collecting data uses a questionnaire with a Likert measurement scale. The data analysis method used is regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program version 25.0. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded as a substitute for work and physical work environment on the performance of the employees of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pos Semarang proven to be a simple work regression test to tell positive 0.208, The physical work environment is 0.223. Have t countc> t table for work discipline of 2,190, and physical work environment of 2,613 through multiple linear regression tests of work discipline and work environment have beta coefficient values of 0.236 and 0.245. The advice given to the company is to improve in terms of reinforcing existing regulations in the company and improving the work environment in the PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Pos Semarang.

Abstract

Tourism is a service business sector that meets the spiritual needs of the general public. The tourism business is developing to meet the increasingly diverse needs of consumers. Taman Wisata Kopeng is one tourist attraction that presents a variety of tourism products and provides a variety of services in meeting the needs of tourists. In its development, Taman Wisata Kopeng has decreased the number of tourist levels because most tourists feel dissatisfied with tourism products and services provided, so tourists are reluctant to make a return visit or recommend Taman Wisata Kopeng to others. This study aims to determine the effect of tourism product quality and service quality on consumer satisfaction with Taman Wisata Kopeng tourists. This type of research used is explanatory research with a total sample of 100 respondents taken with a minimum criteria of age 17 years, was visiting Taman Wisata Kopeng, and had visited a maximum of the last 3 years. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and accidental sampling. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and Google forms with each totaling 50 respondents. The analytical tool used is SPSS 16.0 for Windows with validity test, reliability test, cross tabulation test, correlation coefficient test, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, and significance test (t test and F test). The results of this study indicate that the quality of tourism products partially has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction with a coefficient of determination of 78.4%. The results of this study also show that service quality is partially positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction with a coefficient of determination of 75%. The quality of tourism products and service quality simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

We can feel the changes of people lifestyle nowadays in this modern era. One of that is about shopping activities. The technology development makes people easier to get what they need. The digitalization evolution has caused the rapid growth of the marketplaces. One of them is Shopee, which is the leading marketplace in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. However, Shopee unable to compete with other marketplaces such as Tokopedia and Lazada, with the decreasing number of visitors on Shopee Indonesia.This study aims to determine the effect of sales promotion and product diversity on repurchase intention through customer satisfaction. This type of research is explanatory research. Samples were taken from 100 respondents who had made purchases on Shopee. The sampling techniques was purposive sampling. The data was analyzed using SPSS 23.0 for Windows. The results showed that sales promotion and product diversity have a positive influence on repurchase intention through customer satisfaction. From intervening variable test, it showed that customer satisfaction had a partial mediating effect between sales promotion and product diversity on repurchase intention.

Abstract

Cicil.co.id is a fintech company, which is innovation services in technology-based finance by targeting prospective student consumers. Cicil.co.id has been present in the city of Semarang since 2018. The number of users in 2019 compared to the number of active students in tertiary institutions in the city of Semarang is still small. This is a problem because the prospective customers of Cicil.co.id are students themselves and what happens in the field is a decrease in certain months in 2019. The study aims to determine the influence of promotion and perception value of the decision of purchase Cicil.co.id through interest in buying as intervening variable. The research is explanatory and the sample collection using a nonprobability technique sampling. Data collection uses a questionnaire from a google form. The sample is 100 respondents of users Cicil.co.id within the city of Semarang. This research using analysis quantitative with validity, reliability, categorisation, a correlation coefficient, the coefficients determination, regression simple and multiple, tabulation cross, significance test t, f test, and sobel test. The result showed the dependent variable of the Purchase Decision (Y)was influenced by two independent variables, namely Promotion (X1) and Perceived Value (X2) and can be mediated by moderating variables namely buying interest. The moderator variable strengthens the relationship between the dependent and independent variables based on the results of the Sobel test calculation. The results of the sobel test Promotion is Z count (3.851)> t table (1.945) with a significance level of 0.000 and the results of the sobel test calculation Perception Value is Z count value (3.999)> t table (3.999) 1,945) with a significance level of 0,000.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and training on the performance of Nurses of Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital Semarang. The type of research described is explanatory research with the Systemic Random Sampling method as a sampling method. The study population was nurses at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital Semarang and the study sample were 84 respondents. This study uses quantitative analysis with validity, reliability, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression, significance, t test and F test with SPSS 21 application. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence between motivation and training variables on nurse performance which means that if an independent variable increases in the dependent variable there will be an increase in the dependent variable. The correlation coefficient between the two independent variables with the dependent variable has a strong relationship. The amount of contribution owned by the motivation variable shows that both variables are able to explain and predict the dependent variable. The coefficient of determination of motivational variables is worth 27.1% and the coefficient of determination of training is worth 42.5%.

Abstract

The tourism sector has great potential in supporting the country's economy. The growth of visitors in the city of Semarang continues to experience growth of visitors in the city of Semarang continues to experience growth so that encourage the creation of new tourist destinations and increase tourism competition. Klenteng Sam Poo Kong is one of the tourist destinations in Semarang City which is the oldest Chinese temple in Semarang. Klenteng Sam Poo Kong is unique in its architectural style of buildings full of Chinese nuances and there is the highest Cheng Ho statue in the world, besides being a tourist destination it can also be used as a place of worship. This type of research is explanatory research, using a questionnaire as a method of data collection. The purpose of this study was to determine the direct effect between the variable Advertising and Organizing Event on Visitor Satisfaction, and the indirect effect of Advertising and Organizing Event on Visitor Satisfaction through a Visiting Decision on Visitors to the Klenteng Sam Poo Kong. The research method used is the Non Probability Sampling technique with the Purposive Sampling method. Samples collected as many as 100 respondents were visitors to the Klenteng Sam Poo Kong which were chosen based on consideration. The study uses a Partial Least Square analysis technique, which is estimated by the WarpPLS 6.0 program. Based on the analysis of data processing with WarpPLS explained that the test results of direct and indirect effects on the research model showed positive and significant results. The researcher gave advised to the manager of the Klenteng Sam Poo Kong based on the lowest recapitulation value given by respondents to the assessment indicators, namely doing ad serving during breaks and at after work hours, improving the quality of the performers' performance such as adding barongsai dance attractions on poles and adding dragon dance, continuing to improve the quality of service, performance, and facilities needed and desired by visitors, so that the sacrifice of time and energy that has been spent by visitors is commensurate with those obtained during the visit, and includes information both writing or photos that are by the reality at the tourist attractions so that respondents' expectations are in line with or exceed ith what was found during a visit.

Abstract

The tourism industry is currently was developing and growing rapidly which made people look for a recreation or vacation with their friends and family. One of the tourism that exists in Central Java was Umbul Sidomukti Semarang which offers beautiful and comfortable natural attractions to visit. Umbul Sidomukti was a Nature Tourism Area in Semarang to encourage tourist satisfaction and also the interest of visiting it back. The purpose of this study was to understand about the effect of the price and the destination image on the interest of visiting back the tourism based on tourist satisfaction. This study used explanatory research type. The sampling technique used purposive accidental. The object of this study was Umbul Sidomukti Semarang tourists. To analyze the data, the writer used SPSS 21.0 for Windows. As the results of discussion, it proved several things such as an effect of price on tourist satisfaction with t arithmetic (9,491) > t table (1,984), an effect of destination image on tourist satisfaction with t arithmetic (11,061) > t table (1,984), an effect of price on interest of visiting back with t arithmetic (3,891) > t table (1,984), an effect of destination image on the interest of visiting back with t arithmetic (7,534) > t table (1,984), and an effect of tourist satisfaction on the interest of visiting back with t arithmetic (6,190) > t table (1,984). Based on the sobel and mediation test, there are an effect of the price on the interest of visiting back satisfaction with t arithmetic (4.6527) > t table (1.984), and the destination image of the interest of visiting back satisfaction with t arithmetic (1.458) > t table (1,984). The suggestions of this study were Umbul Sidomukti Semarang to adjust the prices and improve the destination image and a sense of tourist satisfaction, so as to increase the interest of visit it back.

Abstract

Eco-Efficiency is a concept of efficiency by minimizing the use of raw materials, water, and energy, as well as their impact on the environment. This thing can reduce the percentage of NPO costs to total production costs.This study aims to determine the implementation of eco-efficiency in Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Tahu Harapan Tenang of Semarang. The type of research used is a case study. Analysis of the model uses descriptive analytical with a qualitative approach. Data collection, uses interviews, observations, data collection and literature studies SME Tahu Harapan Tenang is a small scale industry that still operates traditionally with eight workers that can produce 500kg of soy every day. This production produces waste that damages the environment. The purpose of this eco-efficiency analysis is to minimize the use of raw materials, energy, water, and non-product output in each product unit. Based on the results of the analysis of production in a day, the NPO (NonProduct Output) in the boiling water process was Rp2,274.28; NPO in the soybean immersion process was Rp638.26; NPO in the washing soybeans process was Rp495,528.22; NPO in the soybean milling process was Rp33,748.31; NPO in the boiling process was Rp528.22; NPO in the screening process was Rp330,528.22; NPO in the deposition process was Rp528.22; NPO in the tofu printing process was Rp528.22; NPO in the tofu cutting process was Rp528.22; NPO in the tofu immersion process was Rp3,647.73; NPO in tofu frying process was Rp69,037.69; NPO in the process of selecting and counting fried tofu was Rp237.69. Thus, the total NPO cost is Rp937,753.28 Researcher suggests the SME Tahu Harapan Tenang record costs during production precisely and accurately. The recording is done to obtain the minimum disposal of raw materials, energy, and water, and produce the lowest NPO cost.

Abstract

Online Travel Agent (OTA) is a travel agent with sales based on online or through a website provided by the company to be able to meet the needs of consumers. Traveloka.com is one of the Indonesian companies engaged in OTA. Traveloka.com also received the award from BrandZ and The Most Innovative Brand in 2017. This study aims to determine the effect of e-service quality and brand trust on the purchasing decision of Traveloka.com. This research’s type is explanatory research and the sampling method use nonprobability sampling and purposive sampling methods.Data collection uses google form. The samples are 100 respondents using Traveloka.com services in Semarang City. This research uses quantitative and qualitative analysis with validity, reliability, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, simple and multiple regression, the significance of t and F test. The result shows that e-service quality and brand trust variables influence Traveloka.com’s purchasing decisions. The correlation coefficient of e-service quality and brand trust variables on purchasing decisions have a strong effect. The determination coefficient of the e-service quality variable on Traveloka.com’s purchasing decisions is 36,3 percents and the determination coefficient of the brand trust variable on Traveloka.com’s Purchasing decision is 37,5 percents.

Abstract

Hospitality is one of the organizations engaged in lodging services. Dafam Semarang hotel is one of the service businesses located in the city of Semarang. This hotel, which has been around for 10 years, has advantages and disadvantages, which in turn results in a decrease in income caused by several factors. This research has the aim to determine the effect of service quality, price and trust on customer satisfaction. This research used explanatory research. The sample were taken as many as 100 respondents with criteria are using Dafam Semarang hotel services, have a minimum age of 25 years and have used the services of Dafam Semarang hotel room at least 2 times. The process of collecting data are using questionnaire instruments, follow-up interviews and observations. The analytical tool used is SPSS 21.0 for Windows with validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient test, determination coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, and significance test (t test and F test). The results showed that simultaneously, service quality variables (X1) price (X2) and trust (X3) together had a positive effect on customer satisfaction variables (Y). From the results of the coefficient of determination, the variable service quality is 0.101 or 10.1%, the price variable is 0.413 or 41.3%, the trust variable is 0.62 or 6.2%, which when added up does not reach 100%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the majority of customer satisfaction at Dafam Hotel are service quality, price, and trustworthiness, while the remainder is a contribution made by other variables outside this study.
