Abstract

This research based on the high growth of smartphone business development, this phenomenon is characterized with increasing number of smartphone brand that released by smartphone vendor that offer a lot of new features of its products. Samsung smartphone nowadays being a market leader in Indonesia and in the world, however in 2012-2015 samsung’s market share always decreased throughout the year while at the same time market share’s rival competitor such as Xiaomi, Oppo, Asus and etc always increased. The sole purpose of the research is to find out the effect of utilitarian value and dissatisfaction to brand switching through see variety seeking as intervening variable. The type of the research is explanatory research, with data collecting technique with questionnaire and interview. Data collecting sampel using pusposive sampling technique. Sample in this research is 100 respondents that used SAMSUNG smartphone and switched to another brand. This research use a qualitative and quantitave technique analysis. Quantitative analysis use validity test, realibility test, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, determination coefficient, signification test (two direction), and two steps regression.The results showed that there are positive effect utilitarian value and dissatisfaction to variety seeking, and variety seeking has a positive impact to brand switching. Based on the two steps regression analysis showed utilitarian value variable and dissatisfaction has an effect to variety seeking,. Next, variety seeking variable has an effect to brand switching.

Abstract

In order to maintain the continuity, develop the company, and maintain its existence, the company is required to continue to provide competitive advantages by paying attention and managing the supporting aspects in marketing its products. High level of purchasing decision become the key to a company's success in selling their products. Revlon always place at top 5 of the survey published by Top Brand Index in 2014-2016 term, however Revlon has a vulnerable position displaced by its competitors. This can be seen from the decline of 4.7% in the foundation category from the first position in 2015 to second position in 2016 shifted by Wardah which significantly increased by 17.7% in 2016. This study aims to determine the influence of advertising, price, and brand trust on Revlon cosmetics purchase decision of the undergraduate students of Diponegoro University. Type of research is explanatory research with the population undergraduate students of Diponegoro University, and the number of sample taken is 100. The data collection techniques are questionnaire, documents, and literature review. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The data analysis techniques are correlation test data analysis, determination test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, t test, and F test using IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) program version 16.0 Based on the results of the analysis, it is concluded there is a positive and significant influence between advertising, price, and brand trust on purchase decision partially and simultaneously (together). There are other factors that influence the Purchase Decision. Therefore it can be advised that Revlon has to evaluate their message in Revlon advertisement, increase the discount frequency on certain events, and add some product variants.

Abstract

The problem found in this study is based on the development data of Lohjinawe Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) in 2013 to 2015, it indicates that many things do not reach the target, this is may be the implementation of organizational culture in Lohjinawe Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) is not going well. It indicates that the employees have not responsibility in their work that causes working result is not maximum. Lijan Poltak Sinambela, (2012: 3) states that employees performance is defined as the employee’s ability in doing a certain skill.The purpose of this study is to know the influence of organizational culture, motivation and disciplinary working to the employee performance. The type of this research is explanatory research. The population is all employees of Lohjinawe Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) with total of 54 employees. The data collection used in this research is questionnaire through validity and reliability test, interview and observation. The data analysis used is simple and multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, significance test (t test an F test) with SPSS 20.0 version.The result shows that the correlation of organizational culture on employee performance is in the number of 0.453. The coefficient of determination (R2) of organizational culture to the employee performance is 20.6%. The correlation of motivation to the employee performance is low and it is in the number of 0.353. The coefficient of determination (R2) of motivation to the employee performance is 12.4%. The correlation of disciplinary working to the employee performance is in the number of 0,375. The coefficient of determination (R2) of working discipline to the employee performance is 14.0%. Simultaneously, organizational culture, motivation and working discipline give significant effect to the employee performance with F calculation (6.299) > F table (2,790) with significance value is 0.001 < 0.05. The conclusion of this study is the organizational culture, motivation and disciplinary working give positive effect to the employee performance in the Lohjinawe Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP).The suggestion to improve employee performance is to maintain the business continuity, the administrator of Lohjinawe (KSP) must have many strategies to increase the productivity by considering the factor of human resources working in that place. It is done in order to improve motivation and disciplinary working of work by making cultures to give positive value to the employees.

Abstract

Stock Price influenced by demands and supplies of investor and issuer in stock exchanges. One of the investor aims in investing on company stocks are to get a high return. However, the higher return you get, the higher risk you take, so investor has to analyzing them to be balanced. To analyze that issue, Capital Asset Pricing Model is one of the solutions to analyze the stocks that deserves to be invested However, on the one hand CAPM has unrealistic assumptions in determining expected returns as well as risks and solve problems related to expected returns and risks. CAPM is not the only one model to describe it, so research is needed on the influence Capital Asset Pricing Model through stock prices.The aim of this Research is to understand the influence of the Capital Asset Pricing Model through the stock prices. The Population of this research is 27 companies that are listed on the banking sub sectored stocks in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2014 - 2016. Type of the research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. The analysis method used the coefficient correlation determination coefficient, simple regression, and significance test (uji t) on SPSS 16.0. Capital Asset Pricing Model is a model that has an expected return as the end result. There are several components in calculating the expected return, consist of actual return, market return, risk free return, and beta risk. Data analysis is done by testing the end result of Capital Asset Pricing Model in the form of expected return with stock price. The test results show Capital Asset Pricing Model has a positive and significant impact on stock prices. So if the component on the Capital Asset Pricing Model rises, the stock price will rise. As a suggestion, there will be better if a company undertake a safe investment strategy such as considering Capital Asset Pricing Model components to get high stock price.

Abstract

The research based on the fact of growing number various alternative transportation services, especially ground transportation. Although bus is still a prima donna for the majority of Indonesian people as an option.The purpose of this research was to find out the influence of brand image andservice quality for user of PO. Bejeu. The population was costumer PO. Bejeu of Semarang-Jakarta. Sample in this research was 100 respondents, which obtained using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis in this study using SPSS 18.0 for windows, which previously tested the validity, reliability, determination coefficient, correlation coefficient, simple linear regression and multiple linear regression (t-test and F-test) in advance.The results of this research show that brand image and service quality partially or simultaneously affect decisions to use. Quality of Service provide greater influence for decisions on the use than Brand Image. Suggestions can be submitted is brand image of PO. Bejeu needs to be improved again, so that the image of PO. Bejeu as transportation company can be maintained. For example by improvingconvenience of PO. bejeu. In addition, service quality also needs to be improved. Company need to discipline and improve the performance of their employees in order to be more responsive to customers.

Abstract

ABSTRACTInternet users in Indonesia are growing every year. Along with the development of the Internet, the development of online shopping activities also evolved over time shifted some direct transaction activities. Increasing Internet users, has attracted various business ventures. With internet entrepreneurs can market the products offered indefinitely space and time. One of the online buying and selling websites is bukalapak.com which offers a wide range of daily necessities products to luxury items.This type of research is explanatory research, with a population of 100 respondents who have visited and made a purchase on the website bukalapak.com. Sampling in this study using non-probability sampling. The sampling technique uses Purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires. Data analysis methods used using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis, Mediation / Intervening Testing using Variance Accounted For (VAF) and Fit Model Indicators (Model of Indices) using WarpPLS 5.0.Based on the results of calculation analysis WarpPLS can be explained that the results of direct impact test on this research model shows the results of positive and significant influence. The result of indirect effect test on the model also shows the result of positive and significant influence. The effect of the website navigation experience as the mediating variable in the model is full mediation.Based on this, the researcher suggested to add and maximize the Operational System, Product Diversity, Placement of Menu Choices, and add variety of products offered by

Abstract

Corporate culture and employee commitment are important factors for the achievement of employee performance. PT. FUMIRA semarang is a company engaged in the field of manufacture and strives to provide the best service for customers, and therefore requires human resources with good performance. This type of research is explanatory research, that explain the relation between one variable with other variable. Amount of sample is 55 respondents, they are the employees of PT. FUMIRA Semarang. Sample technique used proportional random sampling. Data collection used questionnaire with likert measurement scale. Data analysis method used validity and reability test, correlation coefficient (R), simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, coefficicient of determination (R2), F test, and t test used SPSS program version 22.0.Suggestions can be submitted is PT. FUMIRA semarang needs to be able to maintain employee commitments and improve employees' understanding of the company’s culture.

Abstract

Simpedes is one of the savings products offered by BRI for the village community which then extends to the urban community using the savings products. However, customers of Simpedes savings product at BRI Unit Tugu Semarang have decreased. This is due to several complaints on customer ratings on Simpedes product services. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and customer value on customer satisfaction in customers of savings products Simpedes BRI Unit Tugu Semarang.This type of research is explanatory research, the method of data collection using interviews, data collection tools using a questionnaire with a sample of 100 respondents, customers are saving on Simpedes savings products. The sampling technique by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed by using validity test, reliability test, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, T test, and F test with the help of SPSS 16.0 program.The results of this study can be concluded that partially these variables have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Service Quality affects customer satisfaction with t count (7,568)> t table (1,9845). The value of customer influence on customer satisfaction with t count (8,373)> t table (1,9845). Simultaneously, the variable of service quality and customer value have an effect on customer satisfaction with result of F count (73,837) > F table (3,0902).Suggestions that can be given in the research is the BRI Tugu Unit need to improve the service quality by adding employees who assist customer transactions at the teller, adding facilities for space services such as chairs and drinking water and provide attractive interest rates on Simpedes savings products.
