Abstract

This research  was conducted to find out the influence of perceived assurance of product and information  quality on trust  to the company and its implication on buying interest in e-commerce.This research   uses   perceived   assurance   of  product   and  information   quality   as   the independent variables and trust to the company as the intervening variable, and buying interest in e-commerce as the dependent variable. This  study uses quantitative methodology with Structural Equation Method (SEM)  and uses primer  and secondary data, the data analysis by collecting questionnaire respondents. There are 222 respondents in this research.The analysis results of this research showed that the two independent variables are perceived assurance  of  product (0,336)  and  information  quality  (0,365)  has  a  positive  and significant relationship to the intervening variable that is trust to the company. The two independent variables also has a positive and significant relationship to the intervening variable that is buying  interest in e-commerce, which is perceived assurance of product has 0,336 and information quality  has 0,336. Furthermore, trust to the company as an intervening variable (0,316) has a positive and significant relationship to the intervening variable  that is buying interest in e-commerce.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to know the factors that influence on LBB ANTOLOGI’s customer’s  satisfaction and analyze the most dominant factor that influence on LBB ANTOLOGI’s customers’ satisfaction. Samples that used in this research are 100 amount of respondent and taken using purposive sampling approach which means taking sampling based on certain targets, criteria that used is parents who enroll their children for taking courses, at least one semester, in LBB ANTOLOGI Semarang.  Based on the research result, can be summarized as followed :Independent variable that mostly affect the dependent variable is promotion variable (0,456), followed by  price perception variable (0,359), and quality service variable (0,168). T test that used to examine the hypothesis shows that three used variables positively and significantly affect the dependent variables of customers’ satisfaction. The number that obtained from adjusted R square is 0,847, shows that 84,7% purchase decision are explained through price perception variable, service quality and promotion, while another 15,3% is affected by others variables that are not examined in this research.

Abstract

The growing number of internet users who always increase from year to year cause the emergence of various types of e-commerce. With the emergence of e-commerce is causing a change in lifestyle of people who are beginning to move from market place to market space. Increasingly e-commerce makes the more intense competition that happens in e-commerce business. Blibli.com site is a subsidiary company of PT.Djarum engaged in digital namely PT.Global Digital Niaga. However, the popularity of the site Blibli.com is still less popular with other sites such as Elevenia and Lazada.co.id, in addition to the total number of visitors also experienced a decline that occurred from the year 2016-2017. In addition to the decrease in the number of visitors Blibli.com also often get complaints or negative comments. This study was conducted to examine the effect of promotional variables and security variables on buying interest in e-commerce blibli.com through trust as intervening variable. This research uses quantitative data analysis method with Structural Equation Method (SEM) analysis tool. The number of respondents in this study was 197 respondents. The result of analysis shows that one independent variable that is promotion (0,369) has positive and significant correlation to intervening variable that is trust while independent variable of perception security (0,138) have positive relation but not significant. There is one independent variable having positive and insignificant relation to dependent variable that is perception security (0,071). There are two variables that have a positive and significant relationship to the dependent variable (buying interest) that is promotion and trust. While perception security has a positive and insignificant relationship to buying interest as a dependent variable.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine factors that can affects innovation on competitive advantage in the small and medium industries of metals and machinery were still able to survive in the current competitive environment. Intellectual capital, leadership, and business partner collaboration are all factors used in this study that may affect innovation.      The population in this study is small and medium-scale industries in the metal processing sector in Tegal regency, while the sample was taken of 120 companies / metalworkers. Model analysis using two steps linear regression analysis using SPSS 21.      The results showed that: 1) intellectual capital and leadership is a factor that can affect the appearance of innovation, while business partner collaboration doesn’t indicate influence on innovation, with coefficient regression ; 2) innovation has a very strong influence on the competitive advantages, with coefficient regression .

Abstract

In Islam, mankind are the leader of themself, and hold the responsibility of their leadership. Leadership known as a ghairu mahdah worship, thus should be guided by Al Quran and Hadist on its practice. Roemani Muhammadiyah hospital is the one and only Muhammadiyah hospital in Semarang. Muhammadiyah is an organization that practices the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. It is certain that the application of Islamic value is present in the hospital. The aim of this study is to analyze the extent to which the following participants appliying Islamic values in leadership functions in the Islamic company. The method used is a qualitative method with case study approach, which data collection conducted by interview, observation, and documentation for certain period. Method selected by reason so that the study can be done with focus and  depth to determine Islamic leadership practiced by the non-medic heads of divisions in Roemani Muhammadiyah hospital, Semarang.The result shows the outlines of Islamic values, applicated and always maintained by the heads of the divisions on their leadership. The Islamic values such as fatanah, amanah, siddiq, and tabligh are showed in the ledership functions as a model, path finder, aligner, and empowerer.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of organizational culture, transformational leadership style and job satisfaction towards organizational commitment at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Witel Semarang.The sampling method used on this research is proportional random sampling. Samples were collected from 70 respondents who are employees at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Witel Semarang. Analysis method used here is multiple regression analysis which includes validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test and hypothesis test.The result showed that organizational culture, transformational leadership style had no effect on organizational commitment. While job satisfaction is the only variable that has significant influence on organizational commitment.

Abstract

This research aims to examines the factors that effect the entrepreneurial intention of the students in the Faculty of Economics and Business in Diponegoro University. Related to the vision, mission and the objectives of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Diponegoro University, i.e. develop an academic community life which has the entrepreneurial soul on entire campus residents supported by scientific culture of faith and pious to Almighty God.The  population  in  this  research  is  the  students  in  eight  semester  of  the  Faculty  of Economics  and  Business  in  Diponegoro  University.  The sampling  technique  which  used  is proportional stratified sampling with the total sample 69 students. The analysis tool which used is multiple linear regression thus has tested the validity and reliability first. The analysis is used to examines the influence of self-efficacy, subjective norms, need for achievement, and parental background on the intention of entrepreneurship.The  results  shows  that  the  self-efficacy,  subjective  norms,  need  for  achievement,  and parental background on the intention of entrepreneurship, are the influential factors that have a positive effect either partially or simultaneously. While the need for achievement is a factor that has the most impact in comparison with other factors. Another factor affecting student’s entrepreneurial intention is a subjective norm. Thus, the individuals who want to be an entrepreneurs, make sure that they will be supported by the surrounding people (family, close friends, and other important people) and can accept the suggestions and criticism from others to be better than the other.

Abstract

Competition in the business world today can provide a competitive advantage needed the role of workers in order to improve the goals of the company. And also the relationship of superiors and subordinates make the foundation to be able to run every task given well to improve the performance of both. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of leader-member exchange on employee performance with participation and work engagement as a mediation variable.Case study conducted in this research is at PDAM Tirta Moedal Kota Semarang. The data collected in this study using questionnaires distributed to respondents and samples used in this study is simple random sampling with total samples of 105 respondents. Variable leader-member exchange as independent variable, and participation and work engagement as mediation or intervening variable, and employee performance variable as dependent variable. Data analysis techniques use path analysis, reliability test, validity test, classical assumption test, t test, F test, and sobel test to test the mediation effect of the variable.            The results of the analysis data using the path analysis that: 1.) LMX directly related and positive impact on participation, 2.) LMX directly related and positive impact on work engagement, 3.) participation directly related and positif impact on job performance, 4.) work engagement directly related and positif impact on job performance, and 5.) LMX directly related and positif impact on job performance.

Abstract

The aim of infestation is to look for profit in the future. Defensive stocks are low beta stocks (under 1) which can be made by the investor as an infestation strategy alternative in avoiding risk. This infestation strategy could give profits because the risk itself tend to low (beta under 1) that could give optimal return. This research is done to analyze ROE, firm size, current ratio and DER to return defensive stocks. The secondary data of this research is obtained from defensive manufacture company in period 2011 – 2015. The analytical method that is used in this research is multiple linear regression model by testing classical assumptionn, F statistic test, hypothesis test by using t statistic test  and coefficient of determination test (R2). The result of this research explains that ROE variable, firm size and current ratio have significant positive impacts to return defensive stocks. The variables in this research have R2 in amount of 24.6% up to 75.4% return defensive stocks that is described by another factor from this research.

Abstract

The gradual increase of human population in Indonesia caused the increasing of the primary need of clothing, resulted in the development of fashion businesses in Indonesia, especially in the DKI Jakarta as the Capital Region of Indonesia. Nesty Collection is a private label brand fashion firm that competes with the other private label fashion firms in Tanah Abang Trading Center to earn large profits from fashion marketing. This study aimed  to analyze the factors that might affect the purchasing decision of Nesty Collection’s fashion products. This study used five variables, which are product design, product quality, competitive price, brand image, and purchase decision. This research hypothesis testing using the data of 102 respondents. The analysis technique used in this research is to use a software program Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) 22. Results showed that the purchasing decision of Nesty Collection’s fashion products was affected by brand image and competitive price. Brand image of Nesty Collection was affected by product design and product quality.
