Abstract

There is a research gap in previous studies between the influence of compensation on job satisfaction and employee loyalty, and the influence between the physical work environment on job satisfaction and employee loyalty. So that research aims to determine the influence of compensation and physichal work environment towards employee loyalty that mediated by job satisfaction at Office Directors of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX Divisi Tanaman Tahunan Semarang.The sampling method used on this research is proportional random sampling. Data was collected through questionnares to 60 respondents who are employees at Office Directors of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX Divisi Tanaman Tahunan Semarang. The techniques of data analysis in this research includes the test of validiy, reliability, classical assumptions test, path analysis, Sobel test to examine the mediation effect, and hypothesis test.The results of analysis and discussion indicates that compensation and job satisfaction had positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. While physical work environment has no significant effect on employee loyalty. Furthermore, job satisfaction is proven as mediator relathionship between compensation and physical work environment on employee loyalty.

Abstract

This research purposes to indentify the main factors influencing firm value that proxied by Price Book Value (PBV) especially in manufacturing companies sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) during period 2010-2015.The population of this research consists of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX period 2010-2015. This research used secondary data anda used purposive sampling method in determining the sample. The total of sample in this case are 50 companies. Multiple regression is used as the analysis technique in this research.The study documents the positive significant of financial performance, firm size, dividend policy and proportion of independent commissioner on firm value. While the disclosure of corporate social responsibility and insider ownership found influental positive but insignificant to firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of organizational culture and organizational support toward organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with organizational commitment as an intervenning variable. The result’s differences among past researches and the upgrade of the law no. 38 of 2009 relating to the postal matter indicate the need to improve the performance and the quality of human resources of PT. Pos Indonesia Semarang.  This study uses two independent variables and one intervenning variable. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of organizational culture and organizational support on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), with organizational commitment as intervening variable.Data collection methods used in this study are questionnaires using census method, with the respondents of all the employees from the delivery section of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Central Processing Unit Semarang, and the statistical analysis by using SPSS. This study uses data analysis methods include validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, path analysis, sobel test, coefficient determination test, F test and t test.The result show that the effect value of organizational culture and organizational support  toward organizational citizenship behavior with organizational commitment as intervening variable equal to  48,64% While 31,16% is explained by the factors out of the variable. From the result of Multiple Regression Analysis analysis of organizational culture and organizational support have a positive impact toward organizational commitment and organizational culture, organizational support and organizational commitment have a positive impact toward organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

Banks as an intermediary institution have an important role to improve the public welfare in accordance with the mandate of the Act. Loan distribution is the bank's main activity as well as the realization as an intermediary institution.This research used internal and external factors as independent variable and loan growth as dependent variable. Number of samples used by researchers are 23 Commercial Banks. Period used in this research is 2012-2016. The method of analysis used in this research model is multiple linear regression.The result of the research shows that Net Interest Margin (NIM) has a significant and positive impact on loan distribution, Operating Expense to Operating Income (BOPO) has a significant and negative impact on loan distribution. While the Non Performing Loan (NPL), BI Rate, and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) have no significant effect on loan distribution.

Abstract

Instagram is a marketing tool that is popularly used in the creative industries. Adidas has been using this tool because of Instagram’s wide coverages and cheap marketing costs. Currently, Adidas ranks second in terms of sales. Adidas’ strategy to overcome this sales problem is through Adidas Originals. This research aims to test the variables’ influences of social media marketing perception, visual communication perception, and celebrity endorser perception towards consumer's buying interest using online word of mouth as the intervening variable. This study focuses on consumers who recognise Adidas Originals, have an Instagram account and follow @adidasoriginals in Semarang. This research employs a purposive sampling technique on 100 respondents. The method used is Structural Equation Model with AMOS 22.0 Software.The results in this research show that social media marketing perception, visual communication  perception,  and  celebrity  endorser  perception  have  positively  and significantly influenced the intervening variable, which is online word of mouth. While online word of mouth has positively and significantly influenced consumer's buying interest.

Abstract

The advance of technology creates the new business trend by using internet. Zalora.co.id is one of the e-commerce uses website and application to deliver fashion products to the customers. The quality of website and application is the key to build the trust and satisfaction to the customers. Zalora.co.id needs a strategy to maintain the service quality and enjoyment through its website and application in order to keep and increase the customer repurchase intention on zalora.co.id.This study aims to analyze the influence of factors of repurchase intention on zalora.co.id. Website design quality, service quality and enjoyment as independent variables and repurchase intention as dependent variable. This research uses satisfaction and trust as intervening variables. Sample of this research is the application users and visitors' Zalora website in 2016 who had made a minimum of two purchases. The sampling method in this research is judgment sampling. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling – PLS. The results of this study show website design quality, service quality and enjoyment have positive effect on repurchase intention. The indirect influence of website design quality through satisfaction and trust has a negative effect.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of perception of  product quality, attractiveness of promotions, and brand ambassador against purchasing decisions with the brand image as an intervening variable. This research was conducted to consumers who ever make a purchase in Wardah cosmetics, where the respondents in this study is the student of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Diponegoro in the academic year of 2013-2016. The number of samples in this research as much as 131 respondents. With the method of collecting data through questionnaires and sampling method in this research is non probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. This research uses the Partial Least Square analysis techniques, which are being estimated by the program SmartPLS 2.0. A Summary of this research in that the perception of  product quality, attractiveness of promotions, brand ambassador and brand image as an intervenning variable have an effect direcrly and indirectly against the purchasing decisions. Brand image is the factor that most affect consumers in making  purchasing decisions. So the higher the brand image of a product then the higher the purchasing decisions of consumers on such products. The perceived benefits of greatly influence consumer purchase decisions in conducting at Wardah cosmetic products.

Abstract

The need for communication tools such as smartphones, continues to create a lot of demand and supply and also create competition between producers with other manufacturers. Similarly, an interesting phenomenon that occurs in the Apple iPhone in Indonesia, where with the increasing number of smartphone users in Indonesia Apple iPhone has decreased sales and market share. This study aims to determine the effect of product attributes, perceptions of value, and consumer experience on the interest of buying Apple iPhone products through consumer satisfaction as intervening variables.Technique that used in this research is by method of purposive sampling approach, that is consumer of Apple iPhone with category of youth in Semarang who have done upgrading its iPhone device. The sample in this research is 100 respondents. The data were collected using questionnaires. The technique of analysis and interpretation of data that used is Multiple Regression Analysis, according to the model that developed in this research, and operated through SPSS program version 22.The results showed that product attributes, perceived value, and costumer experience have a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Perceived value has the highest influence on customer satisfaction. Then, product attributes, perceived value, costumer experience, and customer satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. Perceived value is the variable that has the highest effect on repurchase intention.

Abstract

            Employee performance is an important element in the organization. Like most other organizations, Human Resources Development Agency employess of Central Java Province also faces problems regarding the performance of its employees. Organizational culture issues that have not been fully implemented well and also monotonous working environment conditions that can affect the work motivation that will affect the performance.            This study aims to investigate the influence of organizational culture and work motivation to employee performance of Human Resources Development Agency employees of Central Java Province.            This study uses two independent variables, namely organizational culture and work motivation, as well as the dependent variable of employee performance. The sample in this research is 94 employees of Human Resources Develompent Agency employees of Central Java Province determined by using census method.            Based in multiple linier regression analysis, the result of this study indicate the variables of organizational culture and work motivation have a positive effect on employee performance. Adjusted r square value indicating that the independent variable can explain the dependent variabel of 37,9 % ,while the remaining is influenced by other variables not used in this study.

Abstract

Raja Asih Home Industry is one of the SMEs engaged in cakes and bakery in Cirebon regency. In the future, the bakery market will increase, so there will be a lot of business in the field of cakes and bakery, making the competition increasingly tight. One way to win the competition is by continuously improving the quality of the product to suit the consumer's wishes. This study discusses the application of Quality Function Deployment method, which aims to ensure that the products produced can meet the level of quality desired by consumers. Application of QFD method in improving product quality using House of Quality matrix (HoQ).The data in this study was collected by survey method using structured and situational interviews as well as questionnaires on 50 respondents. The method used is Quality Function Deployment Method (QFD).The result of this research is that there are 6 factors from bakery product that is considered very important by consumers, they are: texture, color of maturity, shape and size, bread quality, nutritional composition information and expiration time and company reputation. Based on the calculation of technical interest, which need to be prioritized in the improvement by the company are: selection of raw materials, cleaning equipment, machine maintenance and selection of jam.
