Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze and examine the effect of job crafting on work engagement through the psychological meaningfulness of employees at PT. Boma Bisma Indra (Persero) Surabaya. This research is causality research with a quantitative approach. The number of samples was 55 employees. Statistical analysis using Partial Least Square with SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study explained that job crafting has a positive and significant influence on work engagement through psychological meaningfulness as a mediator. In addition, the mediating effect also has a better effect than the direct effect.

Abstract

This study is to explain the analysis of the influence of inflation, exchange rates, BI Rate, money supply, and Shanghai Stock Exchange index toward the Sri Kehati index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period 2014-2019. Data were analyzed by using multiple linear analysis techniques and use SPSS 18 as statistical analysis software. The sample type used is saturation samples so that there are 72 data taken monthly from 2014-2019. The results of this study indicate that inflation and exchange rate have a significant negative relationship to the Sri Kehati index. Meanwhile, the Shanghai Stock Exchange index has a significant positive relationship with the Sri Kehati index. The rest variable BI rate and money supply have no significant relationship to the Sri Kehati index. All independent variables simultaneously affect the Sri Kehati index. Based on the calculation the Adjusted R square value is 0.279 which means that the movement of the Sri Kehati index is influenced by 28% by the variables in this study and 72% is explained by other variables outside this study. Therefore, further research is expected to add other potential independent variables. The implication from this research is that investors should pay more attention to the exchange rate, inflation, and the Shanghai Stock Exchange index before investing in the Sri Kehati index.

Abstract

This study aims to the determinant effect of e-service quality, perceived ease of use, and information quality toward online purchase intention to paid digital streaming music Spotify. This research uses quantitative data. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with the type of judgmental sampling. In this study, the respondent is free service users streaming music Spotify access with smartphone, the sample used was 220 respondents. Data is processed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that e-service quality significantly affects online purchase intention, perceived ease of use significant effect on online purchase intention, and information quality significant effect toward online purchase intention.

Abstract

Examines co-movement between IHSG and JII that represent conventional stock indices and shariah stock indices in the 2015-2019 period was to be the focus on this paper. Co-movement studies have benefits for investor to have diversification opportunities on their portfolio investments asset and their decision making in the future. This study examines how the two different assets characteristic move in long term relationships and short term relationships. The sample data have gathered from the monthly closing price in five years range. Any method that used in this study using The Augmented Dickey-Fuller Test for stationarity test, Johansen Test for Cointegration, Error Correction Model for a short-run relationship, and Granger causality test for finding any causality between two variables. The data sample using a non-probability sampling technique. This study reveals evidence if two indices variables not co-movement in each other especially not cointegrating and not have any causality between them in 2015-2019 period. This findings also have implied on investor benefit for investment decision making and better policy decision making.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of emotional attachment on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. This research uses quantitative methods, nonprobability sampling, the sampling method used was purposive sampling and the sample in this study was 200 respondents. The data were analyzed using path analysis. The results of this study are that there is a positive influence of emotional attachment on customer satisfaction and there is a positive effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty at Rolag Kopi Kayoon Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of moderation of hedonic motivation in sales promotion on repurchase intention to use e-wallets by millennials. This research uses an online survey method. The sampling technique used is judgmental sampling. The respondents are users of e-wallet branded OVO payments. The sample used was 215 respondents. Data is processed using Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA). This study indicates that sales promotions and hedonic motivation have a significant effect on repurchase intentions, but there is no significant relationship between sales promotions with hedonic motivation to strengthen the effect of sales promotions on repurchase intentions.

Abstract

This study aims to provide empirical evidence related to the effect of financial and macroeconomic performance on stock returns. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique and found 171 companies that routinely report financial reports, did not do a stock split, and did not conduct an IPO during 2014-2017. The data analysis technique used in this study was a multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 23 application. The results showed that simultaneous independent variables influence stock returns. Partial test results in this study showed that financial performance variables that were proxied by the Current ratio, PER, DER, PBV, and TATO did not affect stock returns, while macroeconomics (inflation and exchange rates) had a significant negative effect on stock returns. Macroeconomic factors are more influential on stock returns and responded by investors directly suitable for short-term investments, while financial performance requires time to be responded by stock returns and more suitable for long-term investments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of job crafting as a mediation between learning goal orientation towards work engagement. This research is a quantitative study using a questionnaire method. The sample in this study was 51 employees of PT. Boma Bisma Indra (Persero) Surabaya. Data analysis used Structural Equation Model with the help of the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results in this study indicate: (1) there is a significant positive effect of learning goal orientation on work engagement, with the t-statistics value of 3,432; (2) there is a significant positive effect of learning goal orientation on job crafting, with the t-statistics value of 8,234; (3) there is a significant positive effect of job crafting on work engagement with the t-statistic value of 4,931; (4) job crafting mediates the effect of learning goal orientation on work engagement, with the t-statistics value of 3,987 then the hypothesis was accepted.

Abstract

The study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Locus of control on employee performance through job satisfaction. Research object at PT. Ilham Hasil Mandiri Sidoarjo City, with a sample of 44 of 51 employees, this research is used as a Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the assistance of Smart Pls 3.0 software as the statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Locus of control has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, the Locus of control has a significant negative effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, the Locus of control has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction

Abstract

In this research, the authors explain the effect of organizational culture on turnover intention through organizational commitment (affective, continuance, and normative) at PT. Pancaputra Mitratama Mandiri. This study is using a quantitative approach. The population in this study amounted to 32 employees. Running research data using smartPLS (v.3.2.6) which uses SEM and PLS. Results of this study explain that organizational culture has a significant negative effect on turnover intentions, organizational culture has a significant positive effect on affective commitments, organizational culture has a significant positive effect on continuance commitment, organizational culture has a significant positive effect on normative commitment, affective commitment has a significant negative effect on turnover intentions, continuance commitment has no significant effect on turnover intentions, normative commitments has a significant negative effect on turnover intentions, and organizational commitment mediates the influence of organizational culture on turnover intention.
