Abstract

Garam merupakan komoditas strategis nasional yang belum tergantikan, namun produksi dalam negeri masih jauh dari kebutuhan akibat keterbatasan teknologi dan ketergantungan pada kondisi cuaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan teknik pembuatan garam sistem katup (buka-tutup) serta menganalisis pengaruh parameter fisika terhadap proses kristalisasi garam di Balai Pelatihan dan Penyuluhan Perikanan (BPPP) Banyuwangi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan pengukuran parameter fisika (kadar garam, suhu, tinggi air, intensitas cahaya) selama 6 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembuatan garam sistem katup melalui delapan tahapan: persiapan lahan, pemasangan geomembran, pengambilan air laut, peminihan bertahap pada meja 1-3, kristalisasi pada meja katup, dan pemanenan. Total durasi produksi mencapai 48-50 hari dengan laju evaporasi rata-rata 0,5°Be per hari. Kadar garam tertinggi mencapai 25°Be pada hari ke-9 dengan suhu 37°C. Faktor suhu udara memiliki korelasi positif kuat (r≈0,82) terhadap kadar garam, sedangkan hujan dapat menurunkan kadar garam hingga 76% jika tutup katup tidak berfungsi optimal. Sistem katup dengan geomembran mampu menghasilkan garam lebih bersih (kadar NaCl 90-95%) dan memungkinkan produksi sepanjang tahun. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sistem katup efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi garam.

Abstract

Artikel disusun hasil eksplorasi keilmuan statistika dasar yang dikembangkan dari metode-metode dengan dikembangkan dengan adanya ketidakcukupan pada penerapan studi kasus. Metode statistika deskriptif diawali dengan adanya identifikasi masalah dengan menggunakan metode diagram tulang ikan (fishbone diagram), metode ini banyak digunakan untuk menemukan kelompok-kelompok penyebab atas dasar studi kasus secara keseluruhan. Entitas yang dipilih berdasarkan pendekatan 5M, entitas ini menjadi klasifikasi paling sederhana dalam mengelompokan untuk kategori studi kasus. Setelah menemukan klaster faktor-faktor penyebab dengan salah satu dari metode 7 alat (seven tools), maka pendekatan selanjutnya dengan metode analisis 5 mengapa (5 Why analysis), metode ini membantu dalam memperdalam entitas masalah sampai ke akar-akarnya, dengan dipilihnya metode ini atas dasar statistika deskriptif tidak cukup menemukan masalah studi kasus paling dalam. Studi kasus yang dipilih hanya sebatas pada identifikasi masalah studi kasus belum dapat mengambil keputusan dalam sebuah analisis keputusan, maka metodeBintang Jay Galbraith (star method) ini yang membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan atas akar masalah yang ditemukan, klasterisasi masalah dari metode statistika deskriptif. Studi literatur ini memberikan review atas penerapan statistika dengan teknik penulisan taksonomi terhadap studi kasus-kasus lainnya.

Abstract

The rapid growth of information systems has increased the demand for database architectures that are able to provide fast, accurate, consistent, and efficient data access. However, many small- and medium-scale information systems still encounter performance problems caused by suboptimal database design, including data redundancy, update anomalies, inconsistent records, and slow query execution. These problems become more critical when the volume of stored data increases and database transactions involve frequent retrieval, insertion, and updating operations. This study aims to analyze the effect of normalization and indexing techniques on database performance optimization in a relational database environment. An experimental method was applied by comparing query execution performance before and after optimization. The experiment was conducted using MySQL as the database management system with a dataset consisting of 50,000 records. Several query operations were tested, including SELECT, INSERT, and UPDATE, to evaluate the impact of structural design improvement and index implementation on query response time. The results indicate that normalization improves database structure by reducing redundancy, minimizing data anomalies, and supporting better data consistency. In addition, indexing substantially improves retrieval performance, particularly in SELECT operations, with query execution time reduced by up to 70% after optimization. Nevertheless, the implementation of indexes must be carefully planned because excessive or inappropriate indexing may increase storage requirements and affect write operations. This study contributes practical insights for database designers, developers, and system administrators in optimizing relational database performance through appropriate schema design and indexing strategies, particularly for small- and medium-scale information systems.

Abstract

The emergence of 5G networks has created a growing demand for adaptive Quality of Service (QoS) optimization mechanisms due to the wide range of service requirements, including eMBB, mMTC, and uRLLC. Network slicing offers a strategic solution by logically separating network resources to ensure stable and reliable performance for each service category. This study applies a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to synthesize and evaluate scientific findings related to optimization algorithms, resource efficiency, and security issues in network slicing. A total of 30 studies published between 2020 and 2025 were analyzed through a rigorous selection process using inclusion–exclusion criteria and a Quality Assessment Checklist (QAC). The results indicate that artificial intelligence-based algorithms, particularly Reinforcement Learning, significantly improve throughput and reduce latency but require substantial computational resources. Meanwhile, spectrum and energy efficiency are enhanced by adaptive orchestration techniques, although most studies still focus on single QoS parameters. Security analysis shows that cross-slice attacks remain a major threat, and integrated security frameworks are rarely implemented. This study highlights the need for a unified intelligent orchestration model that simultaneously integrates algorithmic optimization, energy efficiency, and slice-aware security to support reliable 5G and future 6G networks.

Abstract

Student data management is an essential component of school administration because it supports identity recording, administrative reporting, and information retrieval for institutional decision-making. However, in many schools, student data are still managed manually or using simple spreadsheet-based applications, which may cause data duplication, input errors, slow data retrieval, and inefficiency in report preparation. This study aims to analyze the requirements and develop an initial use case design for a web-based student data management information system at SMP Negeri 37 Bandung. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach focusing on the early stage of the information system development cycle, namely requirement analysis. Data were collected through observation, interviews with school administrative staff, and literature study. The collected data were analyzed descriptively to identify the current condition of student data management, functional requirements, non-functional requirements, user roles, and initial data structure. The results show that the proposed system should provide several main functions, including adding student data, editing student data, deleting student data, displaying student data, searching student data, and printing student data reports. The system also needs to fulfill non-functional requirements related to accessibility, security, usability, and reliability. The proposed use case design identifies administrative staff as the main actor responsible for managing student data through the system. This study contributes an initial requirement analysis and use case design that can serve as a foundation for further system design, database development, interface design, implementation, and testing.

Abstract

Pemeriksaan menggunakan computed tomography (CT) scan menyumbang sekitar 25% dari seluruh pemeriksaan radiologi di dunia dan berpotensi meningkatkan paparan radiasi serta risiko kanker pada pasien. Salah satu metode yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengoptimalkan dosis radiasi adalah tube current modulation (TCM), yaitu teknik penyesuaian arus tabung secara otomatis berdasarkan ukuran tubuh pasien, ketebalan jaringan, dan tingkat atenuasi organ yang diperiksa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas protokol TCM dalam menurunkan dosis radiasi pasien dibandingkan dengan protokol fixed tube current (FTC). Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur terhadap tujuh artikel jurnal internasional yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa protokol TCM mampu menyesuaikan keluaran radiasi secara lokal sesuai dengan karakteristik anatomi dan atenuasi objek yang dipindai. Pada pemeriksaan yang mencakup kepala, leher, dan abdomen, teknik ini dapat mengurangi paparan radiasi pada organ sensitif, seperti kelenjar tiroid, dengan tetap mempertahankan kualitas citra klinis pada area diagnostik. Penerapan TCM dilaporkan dapat menurunkan total arus tabung hingga 60%, bergantung pada wilayah tubuh, ukuran pasien, dan protokol pemindaian yang digunakan. Secara keseluruhan, protokol TCM mampu mereduksi paparan dan dosis radiasi pasien dibandingkan protokol FTC. Kualitas citra yang dihasilkan juga masih dapat diterima secara subjektif dan memenuhi kebutuhan diagnosis klinis.
