Abstract

The development of technology and education in the 21st century is also increasing the competition in the world. Learning model that can support the competition in the 21st century one of them is guided inquiry. Therefore, this study aims to describe the responses of senior high school students to guided inquiry learning model. This research is a pre-experimental study with one group pre-test - post-test design. Research subjects used in this study are 90 students divided into three classes, namely experiment 1, experiment 2, and experiment 3. Learning devices used are syllabus, lesson plan, handout, worksheet. The research instrument used is the questionnaire of the students response questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using responsive questionnaire analysis. The result of this research shows that in the experimental class 1 students get responses of 76.25% with good category, and in the experimental class 2 & 3 get the students response of 81.08% with very good category. The results of the students responses prove that the guided inquiry learning model is effective when applied to physics learning.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan tugas proyek. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental dengan desain one group pretest posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Jombang yang berjumlah 10 kelas, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah kelas XI MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIA 4 dan XI MIA 5 sebagai kelas replikasi yang berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan uji-t perpasangan dan n-gain, analisis tingkatan berpikir kreatif, dan analisis tugas proyek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada aspek pengetahuan meningkat dengan n gain pada kategori sedang, sedangkan aspek keterampilan mencapai nilai di atas rata-rata dengan kategori cukup kreatif. Berdasarkan data di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan tugas proyek dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan buku ajar berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam pembelajaran dan kontribusinya terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre-test post-test design. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen dan dua kelas replikasi yang terdistribusi normal dan homogen. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis keterlaksanaan pembelajaran serta analisis penilaian hasil tes menggunakan uji-t berpasangan dan n-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan buku ajar berbasis CTL dalam pembelajaran Fisika terlaksana sangat baik dengan rata-rata skor kelas eksperimen, kelas replikasi I, dan kelas replikasi II secara berurutan adalah 92,39%, 93,48% dan 92,93%. Hasil belajar peserta didik pada aspek pengetahuan mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dengan kategori sedang, sedangkan pada aspek keterampilan semua peserta didik mencapai ketuntasan, Berdasarkan hasil-hasil di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan buku ajar berbasis CTL memberikan kontribusi pada peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan LKPD berbasis pictorial riddle dalam melatihkan kemampuan representasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pre-experimental dengan rancangan one-grup pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam kelas X IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen, kelas X IPA 4 dan kelas X IPA 5 sebagai kelas replikasi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dan metode tes. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian meliputi analisis pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan analisis kemampuan representasi peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan penerapan LKPD berbasis pictorial riddle terlaksana dengan kategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata keterlaksanaan sebesar 3,55, 3,64, dan 3,50, 2) kemampuan representasi peserta didik meliputi representasi verbal, gambar, grafik, dan matematis yang memiliki rata-rata dengan persentase sebesar 74,64%, 63,20%, 80,28%, dan 72,22%. Berdasarkan uji t berpasangan diperoleh hasil penelitian berupa peningkatan yang signifikan, dengan n-gain berkategori sedang yakni kelas X IPA 3 sebesar 0,58, kelas X IPA 4 sebesar 0,51, dan kelas X IPA 5 sebesar 0,51. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan penerapan LKPD berbasis pictorial riddle dapat meningkatkan kemampuan representasi peserta didik. Abstract

The lack of concern toward critical thinking skills affect the low rate of students? critical thinking skills. The research aim to describe the response of high school students toward guided inquiry type in improving students? critical thinking skills. This research conducted in 3 experiment classes of SMAN 1 Ngronggot. Instrument used in this research is response sheet contains 10 points of response. Data collected by giving response sheet to all students in three experiment classes after guided inquiry type pictorial riddle applied in learning. Collected data then analysed by response sheet analysis. Results show that based on response sheet analysis, students? response toward the implementation of guided inquiry type pictorial riddle in improving critical thinking skills is in very good category. Abstract

In the 21st century students are required to have learning skills and innovation. One of the learning skills is critical thinking skills (CTS). Guided Inquiry is one of the learning model that able to develop CTS students through its learning syntax. This study aims to describe the quality of learning implementation and improvement of CTS. The enhanced CTS includes indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, and explanation. The research design is pre-experimental with one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study are students of class XI MIA 8 and XI MIA 7 SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya. The improvement of CTS was analyzed using paired t-test and normalized gain-score analysis. The results showed that the guided inquiry implementation is 100% with good criteria and CTS improved significantly with gain score categorized as medium. Abstract

Learning conventional cause interest students to learning physics is low. This research aims to describe student?s response in problem based learning. The type of research is pre-experimental design with quantitative descriptive analysis. The subject is 93 students in SMAN 1 Taman divided by three class are X MIA 2, X MIA 4, X MIA 5 that selected on random sampling. The instrument is questionnaire responses form were filled by students after receive learning. The data analyzed by percentage response from amount score each aspect and categorized based on Likert scale. The results show that response students to problem based learning categorized in good with the average 72,6% and could improve the interesting of critical thinking skills.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Student?s Response, Critical Thinking

Abstract

Student worksheet is procedural sheets which are often used in learning as guide in the form of tasks or activities undertaken by learners. Besides, guided inquiry is learning model which aims to give space for the students so they are able to construct their thinking skills, one of them is critical thinking skill. This study aims to (i) determine the validity of guided inquiry based student worksheet to increase the students? critical thinking skills, (ii) determine the practicality of guided inquiry based student worksheet to increase the students? critical thinking skills, and (iii) determine the effectiveness of guided inquiry based student worksheet to increase the students? critical thinking skills. This study is a development study using ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with subject of trial as many as 24 students in 10th science class, Senior High School 1 Sampang. From this study, it was found that (i) guided inquiry based student worksheet to increase critical thinking skills that has been developed is very valid to be used in learning with percentage in general 86,1%, (ii) the student worksheet is practical in terms of the learning activities result and the students? activities with percentages respectively 90,6% and 84,5%, and (iii) student worksheet which has been developed is effective in terms of critical thinking skills test result with n-gain score 0,78 which belongs to high category and the students? responses with average percentage 88,6%. Abstract

This present research aims at analyzing validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Students? Worksheet based guided inquiry to train students? skill of science process in simple harmonic motion material. This research is developing research using ADDIE model and it is compiled using One Group Pretest Posttest. The data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaire, and test. The data were analyzed through the implementation of learning, students? activity, students? responses, and students? test result of science process skill. The result of this research shows that: (1) the developed Students? Worksheet is valid in terms of guidance criteria, eligibility of content, procedures, and questions. (2) The developed Students? Worksheet is practical in terms of average score of learning implementation, students? activity observation, and questionnaire of students? responses that showed felicitous criteria. (3) The developed Students? Worksheet is effective in terms of the result of knowledge test and the skill of science process which has reached the percentage of classical mastery over 75%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan melatihkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah di kelas X MIA SMA Khadijah Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pre-experimental dengan desain penelitian one-group pretest-posttest. Sasaran penelitian yakni kelas X MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen, X MIA 2 sebagai kelas replikasi 1 dan X MIA 3 sebagai replikasi 2. Variabel dalam penelitian meliputi variabel manipulasi yaitu model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing yang didalamnya terdapat kemampuan berliterasi sains, variabel respon yaitu keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, serta variabel kontrol yaitu guru, waktu, perangkat pembelajaran dan materi. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada tahap pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, penutup, alokasi waktu dan suasana kelas terlaksana dengan rata-rata 3,40 dengan kategori baik dengan percentage of agreement sebesar 96,45% yang berada dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kategori sedang, yakni kelas X MIA 1 dengan nilai <g> sebesar 0,64, kelas X MIA 2 dengan nilai <g> sebesar 0,63 dan X MIA 3 dengan nilai <g> sebesar 0,66, yang dianalisis dengan n-gain score. Berdasarkan analisis uji t-berpasangan diketahui bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan replikasi. Simpulan dari penelitian ini, penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing dapat digunakan untuk melatihkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik di kelas X MIA SMA Khadijah Surabaya pada pokok bahasan usaha dan energi.
