Abstract

Considering the importance of each competency to the students? development then those they should have a positive correlation with each other. Therefore, this research aims to find the relation between argumentation skill, critical thinking, and concept mastery of Senior High School Students and to find their level of scientific argumentation, critical thinking, and concept mastery ability. The research used mixed-method. The qualitative data was focused on students? scientific argumentation while the quantitative data was focused on the level of variables based on the indicator, correlations between variables, and the number of students in each level of each variable. The participant in this research is senior high school students who already learned Newton?s Law of motion. The critical thinking skill and concept mastery test included some different multiple-choice problems and followed by an essay of reason/ support for the answer each. While, the argumentation test formed by chained questions, including multiple choice test and essay test to figure out the Toulmin Argumentation Pattern (TAP). The test was given without giving any treatment for the participant. Based on the result concluded that: There is a very strong positive correlation between scientific argumentation, critical thinking skill, and concept mastery; While their scientific argumentation ability categorized intermediate, students? have a low grade of critical thinking skill and concept mastery. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan yang ditinjau dari validitas dan efektifitas pada pembuatan media pembelajaran fisika dengan Augmented Reality berbasis Android pada materi alat optik. Tahapan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode ADDIE, karena termasuk penelitian pengembangan. Tahapan ADDIE antara lain, analysis (menganalisis), design (merancang), development (mengembangkan), implementation (menerapkan), dan evaluation (mengevaluasi). Hasil penelitian pembuatan media pembelajaran fisika dengan Augmented Reality berbasis Android pada materi alat optik adalah layak untuk diterapkan ketika proses pembelajaran yang ditinjau dari kevalidan, dan keefektifan media tersebut. Nilai validasi media didapatkan dari dosen validator media dan perangkat pembelajaran serta alumni yang pernah melakukan penelitian tentang Augmented Reality. Nilai keefektifan media didapatkan dari respon siswa atau responden ketika menggunakan media dan tes pemahaman setelah mendapatkan materi alat optik dengan media Augmented Reality. Hasil validasi media pembelajaran memperoleh nilai persentase 95,5% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Sedangkan hasil yang diperoleh pada pengisian angket respon siswa persentasenya adalah 98,5% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan hasil persentase pada tes pemahaman diperoleh 64% dengan kriteria baik. Pengambilan data penelitian ini dilakukan secara online dengan jumlah responden 25. Kata Kunci: Media pembelajaran, Augmented Reality, Android, Alat Optik. Abstract This study aims to describe the feasibility in terms of the validity and effectiveness of making physics learning media with Android-based Augmented Reality on optical devices. The stages in this research used was ADDIE method, because this is include development research. The stages of this research are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of making physics learning media with Android-based Augmented Reality on the optical devices are feasible to use in terms of the validity and effectiveness of the media. The value of media validation is obtained from media validator lecturers and learning devices as well as alumni who have researched Augmented Reality. The value of the effectiveness of the media is obtained from the response of students or respondents when using media and understanding tests after getting optical devices with Augmented Reality media. The validation results get a percentage value 95,5% with very valid criteria. While the results of the students response to questionnaire obtained percentage value is 98.5% with very good criteria and the results of understanding tests obtained a percentage value of 64% with good criteria. Data collection in this research was conducted online with 25 respondents. Keywords: Learning Media, Augmented Reality, Android, Optical Devices.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dengan menerapkan pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan teknik Index Card Match. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain One Grup Pretest-Posttest. Penelitian menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen, selain mengamati hasil belajar juga ditinjau keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan respon peserta didik. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode obsevasi, tes, dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan teknik Index Card Match berkategori sangat baik pada penguji 1 dan 2, yaitu 83,9 dan 85,7 (2) hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat secara signifikan antara sebelum dan setelah diterapkan pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan teknik Index Card Match dengan rata-rata skor n-gain 0,75 dengan katagori sedang 37% dan katagori tinggi 63% (3) nilai keterampilan pada proses praktikum menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 75 dan nilai rata-rata sikap 77 (4) respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe STAD berada pada kategori sangat baik, dengan persentase yaitu 84%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan teknik Index Card Match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik secara signifikan Kata Kunci: kooperatif, STAD, Index Card Match, quasi experiment. Abstract This research was conducted to find out the improvement of learning outcomes by applying STAD type cooperative learning models with Index Card Match technique. This type of research is a quasi experiment with the design of One Group Pretest-Posttest. The study used an experimental class, in addition to observing the learning outcomes also reviewed the implementation of learning and student responses. The data collection methods used are observation, tests and questionnaires. Based on the results of the analysis showed that: (1) the implementation of the STAD type cooperative learning model with Index Card Match technique was categorized very well on examiners 1 and 2, namely 83.9 and 85.7 (2) the learning outcomes of students increased significantly between before and after applying STAD type cooperative learning model with Index Card Match technique with an average score of n-gain 0.75 with moderate category 37% and high category 63% (3) the value of skills in the practicum process shows an average value of 75 and an average value attitude 77 (4) the students response to learning the STAD type cooperative model is in the very good category, with a percentage of 84%. Thus, it can be concluded that learning STAD type cooperative learning with Index Card Match technique can significantly improve student learning outcomescategories Keyword: cooperative, STAD, Index Card Match, quasi experiment
