Abstract

This study examines the role of time pressure in shaping online impulsive buying behaviour through a systematic literature review. It focuses on how limited-time offers, countdown times, and flash sales mechanisms stimulate impressive purchases in online shopping environments. The study synthesizes previous research to identify key psychological mechanisms, situational triggers, and individual factors that influence consumers’ spontaneous buying tendencies. Data were collected from peer-reviewed international journal articles published between 2010 and 2025, and thematically analyzed to uncover emerging psychological concepts and relational patterns. The review finds that countdown timers in flash sales effectively heighten consumers’sense of urgency, increase emotional arousal, and reduce rational evaluation, leading to unplanned purchasing behaviour. Furthermore, this effect is moderated by self-control, product involvement, and transaction simplicity. The study also highlights how digital marketing strategies intentionally employ temporal cues-particularly flash sale countdowns-to accelerate purchase decisions. However, this raises ethical concerns regarding potential consumer manipulation. These findings deepen the understanding of time-based persuasion and provide valuable insights for developing responsible and consumer-centered marketing strategies in the e-commerce context.

Abstract

This study explores the phenomenon of impulse buying within the domain of live streaming commerce as an emerging paradigm of digital marketing. It aims to conceptualize and identify the underlying determinants that precipitate impulsive purchase behaviors during interactive live streaming sessions. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, the research synthesizes empirical evidence from 40 peer-reviewed studies published between 2023 and 2025 to delineate conceptual progressions, methodological tendencies, and relational frameworks. The analytical results categorize influencing factors into three core dimensions: external stimuli, encompassing interactivity, streamer attractiveness, and time-limited promotions; psychological mechanisms, including emotional arousal, involvement, and trust formation; and social dynamics, reflected in group norms and community influence. The results show that impulsive buying behavior in live streaming situations happens when emotional response, technological affordance, and social interaction all work together. This synthesis provides a theoretical foundation for understanding the multi-dimensional mechanisms driving impulsive consumption decisions in interactive digital retail environments.

The findings show that EB positively contribute to both attraction and retention, driven by factors such as genuine communication, value alignment, digital engagement, and employee experience. Construct including organizational identification and perceived work-life balance further strengthen this relationship. The review concludes that organizations must adopt authentic, consistent, and culturally aligned EB strategies to remain competitive in the evolving talent landscape. The article discusses findings through a PRISMA-guided thematic synthesis, comparing quantitative correlations and qualitative insights.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, competition among brands is no longer determined solely by products or prices but is increasingly influenced by the quality of customer experiences across various digital channels. This study aims to examine how exceptional customer experiences shape digital loyalty and strengthen brand value. Using a literature review method, the research analyzes five recent academic articles that discuss the relationship between digital experience, customer engagement, and brand loyalty. The results indicate that positive digital experiences through personalization, ease of access, and brand consistency play a crucial role in building customer trust and satisfaction. However, the main challenge lies in the gap between customers’ digital expectations and the organization’s ability to sustain the quality of those experiences over time. This study concludes that digital loyalty strategies grounded in customer experience can serve as a long-term source of competitive advantage. It also recommends greater investment in analytical technologies and adaptive experience design to enhance emotional connections and brand value in digital environments.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between information technology use, career development, and employee job satisfaction through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The study aims to synthesize findings from previous research and identify the dominant patterns and inconsistencies regarding the relationship between information technology use, career development, and employee job satisfaction. Relevant literature was collected from several sources, including Google Scholar, ResearchGate, Mendeley, and Google Books, based on predetermined inclusion criteria. Twelve research articles published in the last seven years were selected and analyzed descriptively. The findings indicate that information technology use generally has a positive relationship with employee job satisfaction, as demonstrated by most of the reviewed studies. Similarly, career development predominantly shows a positive and significant relationship with employee job satisfaction. However, several studies reported no significant relationship, indicating that the findings may vary according to organizational and employee contexts. Overall, the literature demonstrates a dominant positive pattern, suggesting that effective technological support and structured career development can contribute to improving employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of product innovation and social media marketing on business growth. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to identify, evaluate, and synthesize findings from previous studies concerning product innovation, social media marketing, and business growth. Relevant literature was collected through Google Scholar using appropriate keywords and selected based on predetermined inclusion criteria, with the publication period covering recent years. The results indicate that product innovation generally has a positive influence on consumer interest, purchasing decisions, market performance, and business competitiveness. Innovation enables businesses to develop products that respond to changing customer needs and market conditions. Social media marketing also predominantly contributes positively to business performance and growth by expanding market reach, increasing product visibility, strengthening customer relationships, and facilitating direct communication. Furthermore, social media provides customer and market information that can support product innovation and business development. However, effectiveness depends on organizational and technological capabilities, including management support, employee competence, technological readiness, cost, and perceived complexity. Overall, integrating product innovation with social media marketing can strengthen customer engagement, competitiveness, and sustainable business growth.

Abstract

This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) examines how celebrity and influencer endorsements shape consumer purchase intention (CPI) across digital platforms. Reviewing 30 empirical studies published between 2021 and 2025, the analysis synthesizes key theoretical, relational, and behavioral mechanisms that drive endorsement effectiveness within the digital customer journey. Findings consistently show that source credibility, specifically attractiveness, trustworthiness, and expertise, forms the core antecedent of CPI. Among all variables, brand-endorser congruence emerges as the strongest mediator, enabling endorsement cues to translate more effectively into favourable consumer evaluations and purchase-related decisions. Additional mechanisms such as emotional resonance, parasocial interaction, and social media engagement further strengthen endorsement impact in competitive digital markets. Grounded in the Source Credibility Model and Match-Up Hypothesis, this review proposes an integrated framework explaining how digital brand equity is constructed through congruence and credibility-based pathways. The study offers actionable implications for strategic endorser selection and highlights opportunities for future research, including longitudinal examinations and the emerging influence of virtual endorsers.
