Abstract

The importance of the beef quality detection plays an essential role in coping with one of problems related to the distribution of poor beef quality. The beef quality is highly determined by a number of parameters such as size, texture, colour features and odor. Today, to determine the beef quality is conducted by observing the colour or form. As a consequence, this method still has many weaknesses such as in the human assessment that might be still subjective and inconsistent. This research aims making an application to detect the beef quality by using a number of phases of image processing in detail and by comparing the accuracy of two segmentation methods being used. The application was made using the operational system of Android integrated with SDK Android, library OpenCV and Eclipse. Image processing phase consisted of the pre-image processing of greyish level, histogram equalization, segmentation of Region of Interest, segmentation of k-mean clustering, and analysis on the texture by extracting the features of each digital beef images. The final phase of this research was to measure the higher level of accuracy from two segmentation methods. The proposed method could provide the accuracy of k-mean segmentation around 80%; while, the segmentation of ROI provided the accuracy at 90%.

Abstract

Abstrak – Penggabungan dua atom  yang mempunyai elektron valensi di sekelilingnya dapat digambarkan namun bukan hal yang mudah bagi siswa SMA kelas Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Penelitian ini menganalisa keefektifan teknologi System Molecules Augmented Reality (SMARt) terhadap pemahaman materi ikatan antar molekul. Teknologi SMARt mampu memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap materi ikatan antar molekul dibandingkan tanpa menggunakannya. Nilai rata-rata post test untuk kelas kontrol 68,57 tanpa menggunakan teknologi SMARt sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 79,71 setelah menggunakan SMARt.

Abstract

Abstract— Quick Response Code (QR Code) is a two-dimensional barcode that is able to provide more information than a one-dimensional barcode. Smart phone technology that develops very fast with advanced camera facilities equipped with scanning and decoding qr code features. The camera reads the QR code in five parts, namely pattern, alignment, timing pattern, quiet zone, and data area. The five sections used the qr code library to translate back in numbers or letters quickly. Compared to one-dimensional barcodes, qr code is more useful because it can store numbers or letters, while one-dimensional barcodes can only store numbers. The advantage of the QR code that can store numbers and letters is the choice of the company in using the QR code as a support system for official travel orders made in a website-based program.

Abstract

The development of this toddler growth recorder was designed using HC 05 (bluetooth 3.0) module. Meanwhile, the development of the bluetooth protocol has reached bluetooth 4.0, one of the tools used by Bluno Nano board. This study aims to compare the performance of communication devices using HC 05 module (bluetooth 3.0) with Bluno Nano board (bluetooth 4.0). The data were collected through a number of tests with calculations using electrical formulas. The results obtained from the performance of these two tools showed that Bluno Nano (bluetooth 4.0) board had more advantages compared to HC 05 module.

Abstract

Abstract—Device monitoring is an important thing to manage networks. Information related network state or condition can be gathered through the device monitoring for administrators to make decisions regarding occurred events. Logs can be useful information to monitor network devices. Network administrator of Diponegoro University need a centralized log management system that can receive, manage, and analyze logs. This research identify functional requirements of log management system. Topology design and software that will be used by the log management system use DSR method. The next step is implementation of the topology, software, and application. The last step is testing the system and log management application. The results show that collecting centralized logs and processing these logs into information in the form of dashboards using ELK Stack application successfully implemented. The dashboard resulted by ELK Stack Application will be implemented on the web application using PHP programming language and Codeigniter framework. The test results show that system can receive logs and group the log according to the device location and the severity level of the log.

Abstract

ABSTRACT –A standalone server is a server that runs applications and databases on the same computer or server. As a service provider, the technology on the server is required to continue to develop in line with the needs. Therefore, a server clustering architecture was developed to serve the needs of clients on a larger scale. One solution to this problem is by implementing the RAC (Real Application Clustering) technology provided by Oracle 11gR2. RAC technology can fulfill client needs by using Round Robin DNS (Domain Name Server) algorithm. Then, this technology can help add new servers and recently assigned servers as cluster members. Also, RAC has advantages of memory storage for database storage. Based on the results of tests that have been done, server clustering has better quality according to a standalone server. Testing is done using QOS (Quality of Service) testing which is carried out on the network and also on load tests using TPM (Transaction per Minute) which is carried out on the database.

Abstract

Mengelola arsip merupakan hal yang penting dilakukan oleh berbagai instansi, tak terkecuali di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Manajemen arsip video di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah masih terbilang konvensional, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan aplikasi yang memudahkan proses pengelolaan arsip dan pencarian arsip video di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Metode pengembangan sistem informasi berbasis web yang digunakan adalah RAD. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kebutuhan fungsional dan non fungsional sistem manajemen arsip video. Setelah tahap desain, dilakukan implementasi basis data, dan implementasi program. Pada tahap terakhir, dilakukan pengujian pada sistem dan aplikasi manajemen arsip video. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu membantu dalam pengelolaan dan pencarian arsip di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah.

Abstract

This research was conducted aiming to generate the value of the data processing information system web-based students who can cultivate the student's grades and recap the value students who are easily accessible and valid. In this study the methods used namely Research and Development that starts from the preliminary studies, design and creation of information systems, systems validation, test users, user test results, analysis of the results of the user, and then pull conclusion. As for the testing system using test black box and test user response. The average results obtained from 84.26% of respondents answer. The results of the calculation to test the response of users obtained eligibility percentages of 84.26%. This research it can be concluded from the information system processing the data value of the excellent students help teachers in the menginputkan value and is worthy of being used as student information system processing the data value of the students.

Abstract

Abstract - In the rapid development of industry era, managing jobs from a  project have been so conveniently done. Recently, managers who create a project can follow up (to finish and to report) online. Furthermore, developers who receive that task either want to finish and report their task for their manager easily and immediately. The benefit that makes this process much easier is the whole activities can be done with the use of smartphones. In its implementation, managers give tasks for developers without knowing that the developers can do them in time or not. Therefore, this paper proposes the development of a Project Management application where every developer. The development of this application aims to make sure that a project finishes on time. This application can be of a platform to collect proofs of finished projects, as an upload function is available. This function enables users to collect files such as photo, document, or pdf.

Abstract

Nowadays, a decision support system for drone selection is needed to help commoners when choosing drone based on their needs. Decision support system for drone selection uses simple additive weighting (SAW) method to provide the best alternative based on the importance of several criteria such as camera resolution, video recording resolution, flight time, control distance, battery charging time, speed and price. Waterfall development method is used to make decision support system for drone selection. The purpose of this research is to make decision support system for drone selection with camera built-in by using simple additive weighting (SAW) method. Three experts and five users have done the feasibility test of decision support system for drone selection. Expert test result in percentage is 86% under “Very Good” category and user test result in percentage is 84.4% under “Very Good” category.
