Abstract

The goal of this activity is design and manufacturing Rotating Table Machine for Ceramics  Handy  Craft. The  construction  simple  relatively, portable,  simple  technology, and simple operation.The  Methodology  that   used  is  design  and  manufacturing   method  that  cover geometric  modeling,  analysis,  synthesis  and  evaluation,  working  drawing  and manufacturing continually.The result of this program is manufacturing Rotating Table Machine for Ceramics Handy Craft.  The specification of machine is 110 em length x 70 ern wide x 90 em high. The prime mover is electrical   DC motor 20 Volt,  10 Amphere. The working capacity of this machine is the work piece that 300 mm diameter and 550 rnm high. The functional test result that the machine element is good function and the service test result that the machine is easy service.  Profit  Different    no-vucer  and vucer  is significant  and base economics analysis the Break Even Point (BEP) of machine is 15 month.Key word:   rotating  table  machine,  and   ceramics.

Abstract

The  voucher  program   entitled  "Manufacturing    Ginger  Squeezer  Machine  for Small  Powder   Ginger-Coffee    Industries"   aims  to  increase   productivity   of  the  UD. ROSE  KURNIA   especially   in  squeezing  basic  material  of ginger  as a substance  for Powder  Ginger-Coffee   and  Coconut   Sugar  Ginger  being  produced.   It also  wants  to know the suitable  size and productivity  of such ginger squeezer  machine.,         The   steps   of  this   manufacturing    ginger   squeezer    machine    are   planning, machine  manufacturing,   and training  for industry  partner  workers.  The  planning  step includes:  (1) designing  machine  plan  draft,  (2) calculating   the needed  materials,  and (3)  calculating   the  implementation    cost.  The  machine-manufacturing     step  includes: (1)  material   cutting  to  fit  the  work  draft,  (2)  welding,   (3)  assembling,   (4)  electric installation.   (5) machine  performance   test,  and (6) painting.  The training  for industry partner  workers   consists   of:  (1)  theory   and  speech  delivery,   (2)  demonstration    of machine using, and (3) machine  using practice  by the industry  partner  workers.The result  of the  voucher  program  is realization  of a squeezer  ginger  machine and skill  achievement   by the  industry  partner  workers  in the  machine  operation.  The squeezer  ginger  machine   was  made  of right-angled   iron  frame  sizing  50x50x5  mm, combined   with  plywood   of  3 mm  and  12 mm  thick.  The  machine   size  is  120 em length,  60 em width,  and  190 em height,  moved  by a gasoline  motor  power  HONDA of 4 HP  and rotation  speed  of  1400 RP;-'1, The  crushing  system  runs  by 2 cylindrical tubes   with   20   em   diameter    rotating    in   the   opposite    direction.    The   machine performance   and productivity   for  squeezing   ginger  has  speed  of  4 to  5 times  faster compared  with manual  squeezing  system having  been done up   till now.Key words:  ginger   squeezer  machine,  and small  powder   ginger-coffee   industry.

Abstract

In making  wood  crafting   specially   making  of door  and  shutter  leaf oftentimesobtained    a handicapped    door  product  at shares  pen  hole  in the  form  of   barst  / break, the  difficulty    make   the  door   leaf  if  market   request   quite   a  lot,  and  narrow   tightworkplace   so that needed  a workbench   which  inuliti  function  so that  all workable   doormaking  work  the  desk.  Considering    problems   faced  by this  wood  industry  hence  the industry   require   to  be  assisted   by given  a appliance   of  door  maker   in the  form  of  a workbench   of multi  function   provided   by the  appliance   of hole  pen  maker.   With  the workbench    all  worker   can   finish   the  work   of  door   making   start   from   cutting   of'workpiece.making    'of hole  pen  come  up with  the setting.  The  aim of this  program   is to" perform   and  make  the  workbench   by means  of hole  pen  to  increase  quality  and  time efficiency,   so that  small  industry  can  do the  mote order.In   executing    this   program    we   take   the   following    stages    :  (1)  planningI workbench   to  produce   the  leaf  of door  or  window,   matching   with  society  condition. So  that   this   appliance    easy   to  accepted    by  society   hence   this   appliance    own   the following   specification:     Easy  to operate   it, economize   the  place,  work  of making   of, door   leaf   become   easier,   (2)  testing   workbench    to  make   door   in  wood   industry industry  "UD. W ARSIDI"   to know  until  where  the  appliance   perforrnace,    covering   ist amenity   and  speed   finish   the  making   of  door   leaf.  (3)  door  leaf  yielded   from  this appliance compared    to  by  its  quality   with  the  door  leaf  made  conventionally.     (4  ) machine   completiori   its performance    according   to  plan  (5) delivering   the  machine   at partner  industry  to be utilized  so that  can  be productive.   (6) compiling   final  report  of activity  execution,   Result  of inferential   workbench   perfomance   test-drive   as follows: (1) Maker  of hole  pen of this  desk  can function   better.  Hole  diameter   chisel  between   9 up to  IS  rnm.  (2)  Compered   to  workmanship    in conventionally    making   of  hole  pen with  this  desk   is  quicker   till  4  times.(3)    desk  can  be  used  better   to  reap  the  side goodness   step  aside  and  also  wide  side.(4)   long desk  of the  size  2.03  rn, wide  0,84  rn, high  0,7Im,    speed   turn  around   the  motor   is 2.800  rpm,   speed  turn  around   to  drill, 2.800  rpm,  (5) with.this   workbench,   during  2 day  can  make  8 shutter  and  2 door  leaf, whereas   without  using  workbench   only  can  make  5 shutter  and  1 door  leaft (6) quality of  result   of  work   in making   softer   hole  pen  when  compared   to  a  manual   work  (7) efficiency   of place  use very  high.'Key word:   workbench,   hole pen, door,  and window

Abstract

Introduction.    UD.  Kencana   Gading   Gejayan   Condong   Catur,  begun  his  work in  coconut   business,   than  he  thought   to  use  the  water   of  coconut   as  object   of  his business   too.  Now,  the  production   of decoco  is not enough  for the  market,  because   he slices   it with  knife.  It makes   slowly,  and  the  product   is not  reguler   in shape  and  the size.This  program   has  an objective   to make  a slice  device  to a pieces  of decoeo  tobe small  one  regularly,   clean,wealthy,    easy  to do,  and  rapidly,   so the  partner   will  be able to raise  his product.This  Program   offers  the  slice  method  with  electrical   slice  device.  It may  slice more  reguler,   easy,  quickly,  and made  of  stainless   steel  sheet,  the  processes   include: survey  the  appropriate    material,   the  size  of  decoco,   the  condition   of  shop  and  what' needed  b;: the  shop,  to design  the  slice  device,  to plan  the  processes,   to get ready  the material   and  the  tools,  to make  the  slicer,   to test  and  to  make  it more  better,  to  get partner's   opinions,   and to complete   the  design.Conclusion.    This  Program  helps  UD.  Kencana   Gading  to get  a slicer  that  will raise  the  product  of decoco,  from  250 to 600  kg in one day,  in reguler  size  that  is 1.2 ern, to  gain  the  added  values  Rp  1.919.775,   in every  month.  The  slicer  has  capacity]200  kg  in a day,  powered   by electrical   motor  0,25  hp,  1420  rpm,  easy  to  handling and to maintenance.

Abstract

The   objective    of  producing    a  low  energy   drying   machine   is  to  help   chips industries   in  increasing   their  productivity   by  shortening   the  drying  time.  Up  to  now they  use heat of sunlight  to dry the chips.This  process   is time  consuming   and  why  the dry  season  comes,  the  process   isdelayed.   It decreases   the  quality  of chips.The   drying  machine   produced   uses  firewood placed   in a furnace   as the  heat  source.  The  heat  is then  flown  through   pipes  into  the drying  room,  where  wet  chips  are placed.                                               iiThe  room  has a length  of  1.2 m, a height   of  1 m and a width  of 1 m. It has twodoors  and  equipped   with  a thermometer.    Below   the  room,  there  is a furnace   having capacity   of 6 kg tire  wood  and  an oxygen  inlet.  The drying  temperature   is 60 -  70° C. I kg firewood   can  produce  the  heat with  temperature   of 60 - 70° C for  1.5 hours.The drying  process   of wet- chips  takes  about  5 hours.  For that  of  half  dry  chips,  it takes  2hours.  This  machine  has capacity  of2.400   wet chips  and 6.000  half  dry chips.
