Jurnal Destinasi Pariwisata diterbitkan oleh Program Studi S1 Destinasi Pariwisata Universitas udayana dan terbit sebagai tuntutan dunia akademis terutama di bidang kepariwisataan yang selalu dinamis. Perkembangan sektor pariwisata berawal dari dikenalnya suatu destinasi wisata termasuk aspek perencanaan, penataan, pengelolaan dan dampak yang ditimbulkannya sehingga menjadi kajian menarik para pemerhati pariwisata. Hasil dari kajian-kajian tersebut memerlukan media ilmiah untuk diketahui khalayak sebagai publikasi ilmiah, termasuk merupakan ”branded” yang menunjukkan kuantitas dan kualitas suatu perguruan tinggi. Melalui jurnal Destinasi Pariwisata, hasil penelitian, survei dan tulisan ilmiah populer kepariwisataan dipublikasikan sebagai salah satu upaya memberikan sumbangan dari dunia akademis kepada sektor pariwisata.

Abstract

Tourist Attractions in Indonesia can be found in the form of natural, art and cultural traditions. They can also be developed and utilized for sustainable tourism development. This culture tourism needs to be developed with the aim of preserving the culture itself. The aim of the organization is to preserve culture which is can be achieved effectively and efficiently by implementing a good management system. A good management can be improved if the components are well functioned. A good management has managerial functions, namely planning, organizing, directing and supervising. This research was conducted at the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village,because it is the only tourist village that still exists in Jakarta that develops the concept of cultural tourism.This research uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. The informants were the staff of the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village consists of service and information and administrative sub-section employees. The results of the study show that the management in the Betawi Cultural Village has already been conducted optimally, however there are still some inhibiting factors felt at the Setu Babakan such as structural and operational obstacles. In this study it is also discuss SWOT analysis. The strategies have been formulated such as using a land as an integrated tourist area, adding tourist attractions, preventing environmental pollution, and conduct counseling on the preservation of Betawi culture. Abstract

Besakih Temple is the bigest temple in Bali located on the slopes of Mount Agung exactly in Besakih village, Rendang district, Karangasem regency. In addition to being a center of religious ceremonies at Besakih Temple there are also tourism activities. Mount Agung is the highest mountain in Bali and has several times the last eruption occurred in 2017. The researchs try to find the condition of tourism before and after the eruption of Mount Agung in the area of Besakih Temple. The research method used is qulalitative research with comparative data analysis techniques to analyze the condition of tourism before the eruption of Mount Agung and the implications of eruption Mount Agung for tourism activities in the area of Besakih Temple. The data sources, from primary data and secondary data. The concept used are concept of eruption, concept of cultural attraction, concept of the Besakih Temple as spiritual phenomenon, concept of operational, concept of the informal sector in tourism. The result of the research shows that the influence of Mount Agung eruption on tourism activity in area of Besakih Temple is viewed based on the level of tourist visit, the condition of tourist attraction, the comfort of the area, the cleanliness of the area, the operational and income of the local tour guide, the motorcycle drivers, artshop, kiosks, activity of informal tourism sector in the area of Besakih Temple. The area of Besakih Temple managers should synergize with the government and community to conduct recovery of tourism activities in the area of Besakih Temple. Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of occupational health and safety of paragliding tourist attraction management system in Timbis Cliff, Kutuh Village, Badung Regency. The technique that used are observation technique, interview, literature study, and documentation study. While analysis technique that used are qualitative description. The data on this research based on interview result from the informant, which is key informant or base informant on the main research field. The result of the interview is how the paragliding management implemented the occupational health and safety to the paragliding instructor team and the tourist, the factors that influenced the accidental issues, which is internal factors or external factors which is happened when the paragliding take place, also, how the management staff prevented and mitigated the accident when it happened. According to the data, the management staff implemented terms and condition before doing paragliding activity according to Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) like before being an instructor for paragliding, the person must have minimal Tandem 2 licence to be an instructor, maintenance and testing the equipment before using them, giving a short briefing to the tourist to prevent them doing anything forbidden and to avoid accident Keywords: Occupational Health and Safety, Paragliding, Timbis Cliff, Standard Operational Procedure, Accident, Safety and Health

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the motivation of female tourist to visit Gay club, the perception of the tourist and local community towards the Gay Club. The methods used in this research id descriptive qualitative. The technique of determination of informants used is purposive sampling technique. Data sources used are primary and secondary data sources. Primary data in this research is sourced from direct observation to the research location by means of observation and interviews. While secondary data in this research are the data obtained from the documentation or studies library to complement the primary data. The result of the research shows that most tourist say curious to see Gay club as a motivation for a visit; most tourist plead happy after seeing the atrractions there; most neutral against Gay tourist; most local community already know about Gay club; most local community are not disturbed; most local people are not benefitting from the presence of the Gay club. Abstract

This research aims to obtain a clear description, complete and in-depth about the management of the tourist village in Mas Village, Ubud as well as to know the community participation in management of tourist village. Research method that used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection is done by observation, interview, literature study and documentation. Data analysis technique that used is descriptive qualitative analysis technique, such as data collection, data reduction, similar data grouping and data interpretation. The results showed that in the management of Mas Tourism Village can be seen: (1) in the planning aspect type of participation is induced participation; (2) in the organizing aspect type of participation is induced participation; (3) in the actuating aspect type of participation is spontaneous participation; (4) in the controlling aspect type of participation is induced participation. Community participation in the management descripted on three indicators, namely (1) decision making that can be seen on organizing, actuating and controlling, (2) implementation of management that can be seen on planning, organizing, actuating and controlling, (3) sharing profit that can be seen on organizing. Abstract

Alas Kedaton tourist is a natural tourist attraction. The tourist attraction offered such as forests, monkeys and bats in this natural attraction. In the middle of the Alas Kedaton forest there is a Dalem Kahyangan Kedaton temple that is unique. The choice of this location as a place of research is to find out how the management and role of the local community of Kukuh Village in developing Alas Kedaton as a tourist attraction. The research methodology used is this study is a descriptive qualitative research, with observation, interview, literature study and documentation techniques. Data sources are obtained from primary data and secondary data. The theory or concept used is the concept of role, local society, tourist attraction and management. The result of this research is that management in Alas Kelaton tourist attraction involves local communities actively. The involvement and role of the local community of Desa Kukuh is empowered to become a member of the management body, counter staff, janitors, local guides, security officers, Alas Kedaton Trader Group (KPAK) and as well as forming tourism awareness organisations such as tourism awareness groups (Pokdarwis). Abstract

Tourism destinations in Indonesia have a variety of interesting tourist attractions and many of these tourist attractions become shooting locations or taking pictures of a film scene. By making a tourism destination and tourist attraction becomes a setting of shooting a film is expected to make tourism developing and films “Ada Apa Dengan Cinta 2” is one of the films that took the place of shooting for the film scene in several tourist attractions in Magelang. the purpose of this research are to know determine the influence of the film “Ada Apa Dengan Cinta 2” product development, market and marketing at the Rumah Do’a Bukit Rhema. This research uses qualitative data collected through observation , interview , documentation , informans are selected using purposive procedures. Data analysis method used qualitative data analysis.The result of the research shows are the occurrence of product, market and marketing developments at Rumah Do’a Bukit Rhema after being shooting and appearing on scene films Ada Apa Dengan cinta 2. Abstract

This research was made to build a design of destination branding for Tourist Village Kerta in Payangan Districts, Gianyar Regency. The Method that being used is qualitative description. The informant determination technique that being used are purposive sampling technique. The data sources that being used are secondary data sources and primary data sources. The Primary data on this report is a data that comes from the observation, focus group discussion (FGD) and interview. While the secondary data on this report comes from the documentation and literature study to completed the primary data. The result from this research showing us that a brand from Tourist Village Kerta is a Climatic Village. Climatic Village was choosen as Tourist Village Kerta brand because Kerta Village has won many awards as Climatic Village. The logo design of Kerta Village as Climatic Village is described with four components such as a bamboo, a cow or a cattle, human and a temple. The bamboo, cattle and human was connected to the Tri Hita Karana concept, while the temple showing us the connection between human and the God. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know community participation in managing Bongkasa Pertiwi Village in Badung Regency. In this study using primary data sources and secondary data sources, while the type of data used is qualitative data. Methods of data collection through observation, interview and documentation study. Determination of informants in this study using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used is qualitative data analysis technique and constrained by 4A concept, rural tourism concept, management concept and society participation concept. The research results obtained is Public participation is not optimal in managing tourist village, lack of public participation in planning, organizing, implementation and supervision because of the weakness of role of tourism village manager, low quality of human resources, socio-economic life of the community and lack of cooperation. Abstract

Solo City has so many communities with different aspects of value from one another. The Red Batik community is chosen based on its credibility and is one of the most productive communities in Solo City. This study aims to determine the establishment of the Red Batik Community, as well as identify and explain the role of the Red Batik Community in supporting the City of Solo as a Creative City. The research methodology used in this study is research with in-depth interview techniques, observation, literature study and documentation. In addition to using the concept of community-based tourism, role concepts and creative city concepts to review existing problems. The Red Batik community becomes a space for informal education by providing a forum for people who want to get involved or engage in industry and creative activities, especially costumes and carnivals, preserve traditional markets that are characteristic of Solo City, and hold interesting shows for tourists. As a city full of cultural values, Solo City is an attractive place for tourists to visit. Keywords: Creative City, Roles, Community Based Tourism, Red Batik Solo.
