<![CDATA[Pariwisata budaya memanfaatkan kearifan lokal Bali seperti penggunaan motif tenunan atau patra Bali. Pemanfaatan tersebut tergambar jelas dalam produk yang dihasilkan oleh pengusaha lokal. Pengusaha lokal relatif lemah dalam melindungi Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI) untuk menjaga nilai dan manfaat ekonomi dari karya atau produk yang mereka hasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian empiris dan menganalisis masalah yang terjadi di lapangan. Urgensi penelitian ini mencoba untuk membuka akar permasalahan yang terjadi di bidang begitu banyak budaya dan karya pengusaha lokal yang diklaim oleh pihak / pengusaha asing. Jenis kesadaran pengusaha lokal dalam memperoleh hak kekayaan intelektual tergantung pada target pasar yang dituju. Hukum Indonesia hanya mampu melindungi hak kekayaan intelektual di ranah NKRI tetapi jika klaim luar negeri (negara lain), hukum Indonesia tidak bisa campur tangan dalam negara lain dalam arti bahwa hukum Indonesia tidak bisa melindungi HKI pengusaha lokal yang didaftarkan oleh pihak / pengusaha asing di negara lain.]]>

<![CDATA[The art performance know as Reog Ponorogo is based on folklore which is certainty believed by Ponorogo Community. Reog Ponorogo consists of historical/ancestral values which are represented through specific symbols in that art performance. In it’s development Reog Ponorogo has diachronic side, fluctuated between growth and fall, well described as alienated and marginalized. Those situations were caused by domination of colonial government and political movement. The turning point was made by ingenuity of traditional Muslim student that performed “gajah-gajahan” art performance which similar to act of Reog in the period of the second fall phase caused by domination of colonial regime. Nowadays, the intensity of revitalization, contruction, reproduction is conducated by preserving the dance on village community level and also revotalization action formally by The Ponorogo regency. Thus, Reog is reproduced to achieve a distinctive existence and becomes an icon of Ponorogo area.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan pengabdian adalah meminimalkan tindak kriminalitas di Bali melalui sistem pembinaan pemasyarakatan yang tepat sasaran dan tepat guna sehingga narapidana setelah menjalani masa hukumannya di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas IIa Kerobokan Denpasar menyadari kesalahannya serta tidak mengulanginya kembali dengan pendekatan kepariwisataan. Hal ini sangat penting karena jika tetap dibiarkan setiap tahunnya akan terus “lahir” penjahat-penjahat baru dengan modus dan variasi kriminalitas yang baru pula (school of crime). Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah melalui dialog-sosialisasi terfokus sehingga hasil-hasil penelitian tentang Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kerobokan sebelumnya dapat dikenal dan dipahami oleh pemegang kebijakan beserta staf di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kerobokan Denpasar. Hasil Pengabdian adalah pihak Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kerobokan Denpasar mulai mengetahui peran dan hubungan pembinaan kepada narapidana dengan kepariwisataan di Bali. Hanya saja masih sulit dirasakan untuk merealisasikannya karena Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kerobokan Denpasar bagian dari sistem besar dari Kementerian Hukum dan Ham RI. Sehingga memerlukan payung hukum dan perintah dari pusat untuk pelaksanaan program baru seperti pengembangan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kerobokan sebagai daya tarik wisata.]]>

<![CDATA[This article examines the local community participation in the Candidasa tourism area, Karangasem, Bali. The objectives are to identify the capital exchange practice of local communities with the tourism industry and then determine the type of local communities’ participation in the development of Candidasa tourism area. The community based tourism approach adopted to understand the phenomenon of local community participation. Based on observations and interviews can be addressed that the communities surrounding the Candidasa relatively have an exhaustive capital. However, the comprehensiveness of such capital is not accompanied by the proper capital exchange strategies by indigenous village institution as a representation of local communities. The local communities only get relief materials from tourism as a result of the capital exchange. Accordance with the practice of capital exchange, it can be said that this type of local community participation is included in the participation for material incentives. This type of community participation is still relatively limited, so it necessary to improve the their involvement into tourism development in Candidasa.]]>

<![CDATA[Ashram Ratu Bagus is spiritual tourist attraction located in Muncan Village, Karangasem Regency. Ashram Ratu Bagus has a spiritual teacher called Ratu Bagus and unqiue spiritual activity called Bio-Energy Meditation or Shaking Yoga difference them with other spiritual attraction. This study aims to research relationship pattern that being formed between ashram community and tourist in Ashram Ratu Bagus as tourist attraction. The research method used in this study is a qualitative and quantitative data types. Source of data that being used is primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are participation observation technique, unstructured interviews also document study. Informant determination using purposive sampling. Data analysis is descriptive qualitative analysis. The result of this research points out that the relationship pattern between ashram community and tourist in Ashram Ratu Bagus as tourist attraction occur because tourist want to relieve themselves, want to have serious recreation, find their trueself and interested to utilize their leisure time with spiritual education in ashram and interact with Ratu Bagus and ashram community. The relationship being formed between Ratu Bagus and tourist is teacher and student wheres Ratu Bagus as their spiritual teacher, and the relationship being formed with ashram community is familial bonds where they’re living together in same place and learning the depth of spirituality together. <![CDATA[ABSTRACT This research will discuss about the Badung Government Policy About Operation Nightlife Ground Zero in Legian, Kuta. This study seeks to describe the development of tourism in Badung regency, a description of the policies established by the Government of Badung regency which are mapped to the employers area nightclubs Ground Zero in Jalan Legian, Kuta. . Types and sources of data are qualitative and quantitative data as well as primary and secondary data. Data was collected by observation, in-depth interviews, and library research. Determination techniques and informers samples used in this study is the purposive sampling method of obtaining information or a complete and in-depth data. Data analysis techniques used in this study is qualitative research means research that produces descriptive data in the form of writing or speech, words, and behaviors that can be observed by the researchers. From the discussion of the research on "Badung Government Policy About Operation Nightlife Ground Zero in Legian, Kuta". Then get a conclusion that forms of abuses committed entrepreneurs Sky Garden because they were overwhelmed in managing and urge visitors that come to leave immediately due nightclubs operating hours had passed the limits set. Form of Badung regency government efforts in bridging the interests of public employers Kuta nightlife with the cooperation or involvement with Kuta Sector Police, Civil Service Police Unit Badung, Kuta village chief and the coordinating Bendesa Adat Kuta related violations and complaints from the public Kuta.]]>

<![CDATA[Mount Agung eruption has a significant influence on the tourism sector. The tourism sector becomes the main sector of the Ubud community. This study aims to determine the implications of Mount Agung eruption on socio- economic tourism actors in the village of Ubud in the accommodation and restaurant business. This research is important to do because it is useful for tourism actors who are directly involved in the tourism sector so that it can deal with natural phenomena that unpredictable events occur. The research method in this report is using qualitative and quantitative data types. Sources of data used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. Informant determination technique used is purposive sampling. Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative. The first thing to do is to observe for social phenomena and then to categorize the information obtained, then explain the categorization, then explain the categorization relationship and draw the general conclusion. The results of this research indicate that the implications of the Gunung Agung eruption on socio-economic tourism actors in Ubud Village include occupation of accommodations, restaurant visits, shortening employee work hours, employee income, employee welfare, family employee education investment, additional employee work that work in accommodation restaurant business. <![CDATA[Tourism attraction by watersport on Melasti Beach Serangan from the beginning of December 2017 until mid- December 2017 the number of tourist visits has decreased to reach its lowest point of zero percent, and as for some of the tourist services business attractions are laid off in a certain period due to the eruption of Mount Agung. This research related to the implications of the eruption of Mount Agung on Melasti Serangan Beach is to find out how much the impact of the Mount Agung eruption on tourism on Serangan Island was located quite far from Mount Agung Consept that used to discuss the problems in this study is the concept of implication and concept of watersports. The method use qualitative data analysis techniques by conducting observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The technique of determining the informant is done by purposive sampling. Source of data obtained primary data sources in the form of in-depth interviews to the management of watersport tourism attractions in Melasti Serangan Beach and direct observation in the field. The secondary data source of this study is in the form of the Denpasar City tourism service website, such as the number of tourist visits to Serangan Island and previous research journals related to this study. The implication of the eruption of Mount Agung on watersport tourism attractions in Melasti Serangan Beach includes a direct influence which has resulted in a decrease in tourist visits. The influence referred includes changes in operational hours, but without shortening working hours. Almost all employees experience a policy of laying off a maximum of 20 days. A decrease in the number of tourist visits, especially in December. Similarly, the amount of income earned only reaches less than 50% of normal days. <![CDATA[Tourism development will trigger positive or negative implication to the local communities. In term of socio-economic, Sibunga-bunga village is one of the village which has been affected by tourism development. It can be seen from the increasing number of local people who leave the agricultural sector and turn to the tourism sector . The aim of this research is to know the tourism development phase and socio-economic implication to the people of Sibunga-bunga village. The Data were collected through observational, interviews, and documentations, those data were described qualitatively. The tourism life cycle theory (TLCT) is proposed and tested in order to identify the tourism development phase. The socio-economic implications are presented with pictures to get a clear understanding of the facts and findings. The result of the study shows that the tourism development phase of sibunga-bunga village is on involvement. Tourism development of Sibunga-bunga village has positive implications to create job opportunities, to increase local’s income. <![CDATA[This research was conducted to determine the effect of Mount Agung eruption on the production of sculpture in Sebatu Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency. The types of data and sources of data used are qualitative, primary and secondary data. Data collection is conducted by observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data used was qualitative data analysis to seek the relationship between the influence of the Mount Agung eruption on the qaunitity of sculpture production and the distribution network of sculpture crafts in Sebatu Village. The results of this study indicate that sculpture crafts produced in Sebatu Village are a type of contemporary sculpture that is dominated by animal statues. The production capacity of sculpture crafts in Sebatu village after the eruption of Mount Agung has increased, contrary to when the eruption occurred tourists could not come directly to order sculpture and their production capacity had declined. The working system of sculpture craftsmen has started to run normally with increasing production capacity. The distribution network of sculpture crafts in Sebatu Village can be distributed in five ways through distribution to the Sukawati art market, Balinese souvenirs, shipping by sea, shipping via cargo and distribution to the villa. From the conclusion, the Gianyar Regency Government should provide capital support for the sculpture industry, especially in Sebatu Village, Tegallalang District.There is a need to increase capital for handicraft business owners by providing financial or credit assistance for sculpture.Thus, there will be many entrepreneurs who are growing and increasing their production.
