Abstract

Culture has an important role in the tourism industry as one of the factors that attract tourists to visit tourist attractions. One of the cultural tourism areas in West Java is Kampung Naga in Tasikmalaya Regency. Tourism has begun in this traditional village since the 1970s, but its development can be said to be slow because many tourism principles are considered not following customary rules. Unique even though tourism development is not recognized by the community, but continues to run and also benefits the community. This study uses a qualitative method that aims to identify the development of tourism in Kampung Naga. The types of data used are quantitative data and qualitative data with data collection carried out by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentaries. The data analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis with an inductive approach. The results of this study show that the development of tourism in Kampung Naga has reached the second stage in the theory of the tourism area life cycle. Besides, there are community organizations that in charge of tourism issues in Kampung Naga, namely the Association of Indonesian Guides. Meanwhile, there are two Regional Organizations that have authority in Kampung Naga, which are the Tourism, Youth and Sports Departement and the Education Departement. The obstacle in developing tourism in Kampung Naga is a conflict between the government and local communities regarding regulations that are not obeying the customary rules in Kampung Naga. Abstract

A creative tourism is a form of sustainable tourism that offers authentic experiences of local culture. Tourism activities that have been running for about 9 years in Dago Pojok Creative Village, sparked researchers attention identify the condition of tourism and measuring level of local community participation in the development of Dago Pojok Creative Tourism Village. This study aims to identify tourism conditions and level of participation of local communities in the development of Dago Pojok Creative Tourism Village. The types of data used are qualitative and quantitative data with observation, interview and document data collection. Analysis of the data used is descriptive-qualitative data analysis using the concept of tourism components and the theory of a ladder of citizen participation. The results of this study show that the condition of tourism which is reviewed through the components of tourism products (4A) in Dago Pojok Creative tourism village recently is sufficient enough to improve some of the existing facilities. The level of community participation in Dago Pojok Creative Tourism Village is at the first level in the theory of a ladder of citizen participation. Based on the results, local communities have participated in the development of tourist attractions neverheless but it is still constrained by the government who expects the community itself to develop the tourist village without government assistance. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the situation during the eruption of Mount Agung and the roles played by tourism stakeholders during the crisis. The findings of the study provide a more in-depth understanding of the lessons acquired by tourism stakeholders in Bali when dealing with catastrophic events, particularly natural disasters. For the purpose of this study, this research included interviews with 19 informants from a variety of tourist stakeholders, as well as those in charge of coping with natural catastrophes. According to the findings of the research, there are several lessons that can be learned from the eruption of Mount Agung, which will help tourism stakeholders be better prepared in dealing with all of the crises that may arise in the future. Abstract

Cultural heritage tourism industry is generally required to continuously be creative in finding new strategies for attracting and engaging tourists actively in enjoying this type of tourism. However, cultural heritage managers generally face challenges in marketing and competitiveness. One of the ways to gain competitive advantage is the implementation of the Augmented Reality technology. This study was conducted in order to recreate an interpretation of tourist attractions with the use of Augmented Reality in Bali with the aim of enhancing cultural heritage tourists experience. The methodology used are documentation, interview, usability study and observation. Researches on usability involves users in testing a prototype. The prototype here is an augmented reality app that present the condition of three tourist attractions in Bali (Kuta, Sanur and Uluwatu), back then to 1970-1980s, to the times before Mass Tourism became a threat like nowadays. The usability study and observation method are widely used to understand how people work with electronic devices such as mobile phones and tablets in recent days. The expected results in this study are to produce an app that is useful to enhance the experience of tourists in Bali and at the end it is expected to create a better appreciation to the culture, history of Bali and its tourism. Abstract

Tourist safety is an important aspect in tourism activities and must have serious attention from the manager of a tourism destination. It is also one of tourist satisfaction over the service which further will imposes image of the destination around the world. Sambangan tourism village is one of the tourist destinations in North Bali which is currently popular to domestic and foreign tourists. There are two unique attractions become flagship attractions that are sliding and jumping. Along with the development of an increasing tourist visits since last few years, problems began appear. An accident even cause the loss of life and one of them is a local guide who made a living in that area. Therefore, this research is considered necessary and important in order to find out how the application of safety and health of work have been done so far. Data obtained through library studies, participatory observation and interviews with the determined informants.This research found that the safety and health aspects of work in Sambangan tourism village are still simple due to the limitations of funding and a lack of understanding in the health aspects so that the implementation of health and safety of workis done based on understanding. Therefore, in the future a further research is needed related to the health aspects of a medical, increasing of security aspects in the location of tourists attraction and also the attention and support from the government especially tourism department. Abstract

The development of tourism in Bali to date has had a positive impact on the economy of the community. In addition, tourism can increase foreign exchange and provide employment.This study contains what motivation and how the characteristics of visitors Krisna Funtastic Land and how appropriate utilization in Krisna Funtastic Land in Leisure and Recreation activities. The data used in this study are qualitative data in the form of Krisna Funtastic Land, the state of facilities and infrastructure, the history of Krishna Funtastic Land and the utilization of visitors. The result-show that the characteristics of visitors who come to Krisna Funtastic Land based on age are the majority> 20 years old, based on the area of origin originating from the Regency of Buleleng, especially the City of Singaraja, based on female sex. Based on the level of education having a high school / vocational education level, based on the type of occupation the majority are still students, based on the source of information getting information comes from friends / relations. For the appropriate utilization in Krisna Funtastic Land based on the motivation and characteristics of visitors Krisna Funtastic Land which is one of the tourist attractions in Krisna Funtastic Land, so the manager should add the game rides not only focus for children, but also for adults, The type of game rides should more be reproduced to increase the interest of tourists to visit. Abstract

Marketing is one of the important strategies in tourism activities. With the marketing, tourists know the tourist attraction that will be visited. Marketing consists of several aspects, such as product, place/distributions, price and promotion (marketing mix). This research was conducted to determine the form of marketing mix at Tahura Ngurah Rai Mangrove Ecotourism and measure how much influence the marketing mix had on the decisions of foreign tourists visiting Tahura Ngurah Rai Ecotourism. The method used in research is quantitative method. Data collection is conducted by questionnaire, observation, and literature study. While the data analysis technique used is the Important Performance Analysis (IPA) technique. The results of study showed that the components of the marketing mix consisting of products, prices, places / distributions, and promotions still did not meet the level of tourists satisfaction, There were still several components that had to be increased such as price and place. Therefore, the manager must focus on to the component that doesn’t meet the level of tourist satisfaction since it can influence the tourist visiting decisions. Abstract

This research was conducted to seek the Standard Operating Procedures of the Immigration Office in Handling Foreign Tourists Who Misused Permits for Visiting Visa in Bali. The research used in study is qualitative descriptive. The informant determination technique used was the Purposive Procedure technique. The data sources used were primary and secondary data sources. Primary data in this study were data that come from direct observation to the location of the study by observation and interview. While secondary data in this study were data obtained from documentation or literature studies to supplement primary data. The results showed that the supervision and deportation of foreign nationals at the Ngurah Rai Special Class I Immigration Office was carried out to the maximum by immigration officers, starting from the coming till being out of Indonesia, the process was in accordance with Law Number 6 of 2011 and Regulations The Government of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1994 concerning Procedures for Supervision of Foreigners and Immigration Measures as well as provisions that apply to the stages of foreigners is carried out by the process of detention in the detention room of the Immigration Office, given the action by the Head of the Immigration Office.
