Monkasel monument is one of Surabaya's landmarks and will become "The Central Business District Riverbank". In this area has been built many recreational facilities, namely the statue of Suro and Boyo, Plaza Area, BMX Area, Tribune Area, Skate Park Area and Food court Ketabang. However, the development of water tourism in this area is still not optimal. One to overcome this is the need to develop a floating restaurant that can integrate all existing facilities, especially the food court. The development of this floating restaurant has multi-function, which is increasing the visitor of the food court, because this floating restaurant only provides a place to eat not sell food, as a place of business transactions and in the long run will improve the water quality of Kalimas river. This floating restaurant is designed with high comfort and safety, and environmentally friendly, so that all the functions can be accommodated well. This is because the floating diner is a catamaran boat that has a low sweep wave and uses solar panels

Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern is design pattern that is suitable for interactive systems. MVC is adapted in desktop and web-based applications. Moreover, many frameworks are adapting MVC pattern. Each layer of MVC has a different function. The main function of the model layer is query to the database system that represented by SQL language. In software development, code duplication or code clone is a serious problem because it will impact on the maintenance process. Associated with model layer and code clone, clone detection approach that exists today is not effective to detect clones in the model layer represented by SQL language, because the definition of code clone is not suitable for SQL clone. SQL is declarative language that is different from the common programming language like C and Java. So, the definition of code clone must be adjusted with characteristic of SQL. In this research, we investigate the existence of SQL clone on MVC-based application and define the types of SQL clone. We define four types of SQL clone and they are confirmed exist in MVC-based application datasets that used in this research

The development of communication systems is not only limited in its use for human interaction and mobility with various electronic devices. However, it is expected to be a solution for traffic management and management strategies. The number of vehicles is continuously increasing especially in big cities so it needs communication between vehicles for the development of VANETs technology. The IEEE international standards communication system establishes the use of the Wireless Access in Vehicular Environment (WAVE). With the IEEE 802.11p standard, it is possible to build an integrated information and communication-based transportation system. In this research will be analyzed VANET communication performance through parameters of packet delivery ratio, routing overhead, and packet drop. VANET uses NS-2 as a simulator and AODV routing protocol. In a network, routing protocols are very influential on VANET network performance. Simulation scenarios with VANET using Nakagami and TwoRayGround propagation models are expected to result in connectivity performance on interoperable communication networks (V2V) with IEEE 802.11p standards in VANET environments. From the experimental results in the AODV protocol scenario using propagation modeling, the value of packet delivery ratio, routing overhead, and packet drop with the Nakagami transmission model is better than the value of packet delivery ratio, routing overhead, and packet drop with TwoRayGround transmission model has good value but Unstable in the node transmission process. Thus, the performance of the Nakagami transmission model looks more stable overall than the TwoRayGround transmission mode

Growth of development in Kalirungkut Subdistrict with the functioning of MERR IIC road since 2010 is rapidly happening. The rapid development took place in the areas of trade and services, settlements, and industry as well as education. The growth development that caused the land use change is not balanced with the availability of Green Open Space (GOS) which is adequate as ecological function of rainwater absorber, thus becoming one of the causes of flood/puddle in Kalirungkut Subdistrict. Green open space to absorb rain water is part of a green infrastructure that integrates with city drainage in the form of storage and water absorption. The purpose of this research is to identify the characteristic of green open space form / morphology as an ecological function of rainwater absorber in Kalirungkut Subdistrict, by looking at the existing research benchmarks, drawing the conclusions of the analysis and making it a guideline in the development of green open space of further absorbent rainwater. This study uses a comparative descriptive analysis method. The selection of descriptive-comparative analysis is conducted to describe the comparison of existing green open space with standardization and supporting theories in the provision and development of green open space as an ecological function of rainwater absorber based on the aspects of existing research. The result of this research is the characteristic of the form/morphology of Green Open Space as ecological function of rainwater absorber in Kalirungkut Subdistrict which consists of Green Open Space form which functioned as water body in the form of water retention, the availability of garden & sports field, various types of vegetation and supporting material, Appropriate Green Open Space, and Absorption Ability of this type of land cover

One of the phenomenon appears on operation of marine propeller is noise. It could reduce performance of the propeller. In this study, numerical simulation is used to predict hydrodynamic performance and noise around non cavitation propellers. The formulation of RANS (Reynold Averaged Naiver Stokes) with turbulence model k-ω SST (Shear Stress Transport) and FWH (Ffowcs Williams–Hawkings formulation) is applied on the simulation. The noise is expressed in time-domain acoustic analogy as well as finite volume, and it is predicted at different receiver positions. The performance of propeller is predicted by MRF technique (Multiple Reference Frame). The 3D model of B-series propeller with diameter of D = 250 mm, blade number Z = 4, pitch diameter ratio P/D = 1, and area ratio Ae/Ao = 0.55 is simulated on various advance coefficients (J). Propeller rotation is simulated in range of 7.5 rps - 29rps and Re = 6.95x104– 3.36x106

Acknowledging the issue of energy sustainability, the sugar industry has begun to look at plans to sell electricity to address energy sustainability issues. A scenario with the potential to sell excess electricity motivates this research to analyze the strategies of the sugar industry development. In such situations an ANP approach is applied for the selection of appropriate strategies. This study analyzes the potential for electricity sales in two alternative plant development strategies of three sugarcane industries which from the results, Strategy A (cogeneration scheme) allows to sell electricity for 223-293 days while strategy B (independent power plant scheme) allows to sell throughout the year. The result also shows that by using ANP, it is found that strategy A is better than strategy B

Urban housing has already led vertical development such as the improvement for slum settlement. In fact, this solution has not been considered optimal and even cause other problems. This study offers the concept of a vertical kampung by applying the translation of the identity of a traditional value. Sustainable design methods with field measurements, interviews and design simulations using Ecotect analysis-RADIANCE and ANSYS Fluent software as an integrated environmental consideration with the completion of social and economic sustainability were conducted. The results show that new methods using sustainable architectural principles should also be done. In addition, design of affordable dwelling from slums environment can also be transformed into new user empowerment and carrying capacity for the city.
