Abstract

This Research aims to determine how the implementation of the Hybrid FiberCoaxial (HFC) network for Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), as is well-knownthat these days VOIP networks increasingly widespread use as an alternative in thefield of communication, in building a VOIP network would need an infrastructure Agood network and reliable, one important factor is the network speed andbandwidth required, in this study will be tested how the implementation of the use ofHFCs for VOIP networks, and the results of existing trials indicate that HFCprovides the smallest delay compared to another medium transmission, from theresult can be seen that at present one of the medium best transmission forimplementing a VOIP network is a Hybrid Fiber Coaxial

Abstract

People usually have their agenda noted on their mobile phones as it is able toremind the owner about the agenda. However, the ordinary agenda can onlyprovide information of the agenda detail without location map. This research aimsto create an application to provide detailed information as well as locationinformation of an agenda using Google Maps. In addition, this application is alsocapable of providing position information to the current user and shortest route tothe location of an event noted on the mobile phone agenda. Experiment results showthat the technique is able to provide information on the agenda with sufficientinformation about the location in term of map view and shortest route to arrive atthe event. This application has also been successfully implemented on manydifferent versions of Android and can also be run with either various types ofexisting telecommunications provider.

Abstract

Jaringan pada sebuah perusahaan ataupun pada sebuah instansi pasti akanberkembang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan. Mengakibatkan perusahaanharus menambah atau bahkan merubah struktur jaringan atau topologi jaringanuntuk mendukung kebutuhan perusahaan. Jika hal tersebut terjadi maka seorangadministrator jaringan harus merubah dokumentasi jaringan yang dibuat sesuaidengan perkembangan,Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas seorang networkadministrator harus merubah dokumentasi jaringan seiring dengan berubahnyatopologi jaringan. Dokumentasi tersebut berisikan informasi dari tiap-tiap deviceyang ada dalam jaringan. Perubahan topologi ini dapat menyulitkan administratorjaringan dalam mengelola jaringan jika tidak memiliki dokumentasi yang baik.Sistem yang dibangun oleh penulis terbukti membantu dalam pembuatandokumentasi jaringan. Sistem menyedikan dan membantu administrator jaringandalam membuat topologi dan mendokumentasikan dalam bentuk hasil cetak yangdapat digunakan sebagai dokumentasi jaringan oleh perusahaan tersebut. Sehinggadapat membantu administrator jaringan dalam mengelola dan memaksimalkanjaringan.

Abstract

Profit maximization is one of the shareholders’ goals from some firms’ investments. Byinvesting some of their money, investors want big returns of their investment. Thecompany can maximize its profit through a well management of its assets and use itsassets well in order to generate revenue. In this article, we test the relationship betweenworking capital management and profitability. We analyze and run multiple linearregressions to test financial statements from Indonesia listed companies. The test isdone using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) Software. The resultsshow that Cash Conversion Cycle has significant positive relationship with return onassets. The same direction with Cash Conversion Cycle, Net Trade Cycle also haspositive relationship with return on assets. Positive significant relationship is alsofound in the relationship between return on assets and firm size. In contrast, debt ratiohas negative significant relationship over return on assets. It is also concluded thatSPSS can be used to analyze the relationship between working capital management andprofitability. Profit maximization can be reached through high Cash Conversion Cycleand Net Trade Cycle, as indicators for Working Capital Management.
