Abstract

The current study suggest that some job insecurity, poor leadership relations, and poor influence at work may also have importance determinant. The relationship between work domain and work outcome domain was analysed on basis of the model in which work domain have an indirect effect on burnout, mediated by work-family coflict This study attempted to look at the influence of determinants and impacts of conflik family and work, taking into account the negative aspects of each of the variables, such as job insecurity, poor leadership relations, and poor influence at work. The implication of the finding and some future research for work-family conflict were also discussed.

Abstract

Research regarding employee performance has been made multiple times, however research regarding locus of control that affected employee performance has only been done a few times. The primary data for this research were acquired from the employee of PT X, located in Tomang, West Jakarta. Samples were collected and calculated using a simple random sampling, and the statistical method used to test each hypothesis is multilevel linear regression.The outcome of this research has shown that all tested hypothesis are acceptable. Internal locus of control have positive impact towards the employee performace, external locus of control alsohave positive impact towards the employee performace, and locus of control has simultaneously impacted the employee performance.

Abstract

At the moment people with disabilities still face problem with regard to their levehood and their welfare. This research to examine the parties who have done the economic empowerment of persons with disabilities as well as the concept of economic empowerment for persons with disabilities that have been implemented This study also examines the various issues and factors that support succersful implementation of economic empowerment model person with disabilities in Indonesia This research showed in change of emplementing the economic empowerment of person with disabilities are still emphasizing the role of the Ministry of Social Affairs. Interdepartmental and inter-institutional treatment has been done, but the coordination has not been going well. The role of the private, Non Government Organization. Disable People Organization also showed a very important action. Implementation. Implementation of economic empowerment for person with disabilitas based on the laws and policies that exist both at the international, regional, national and local area. Implementasion of economic empowerment to persons with disabilities in Indonesia, still face many problem that required the presence of improvements on all side. The most dominat factor for the success of economic empowerment for persons with disabilities is the motivation of persons with disabilities, family support compatibility between the interest and the capacity to be taken in the selection process, presence of equipment and capital, the assistance of both the marketing and product development, the existence of a network of support in the community, absence of career development assistance agencies to persons with disabilities who enter the labor market.

Abstract

To enrich research related to green product purchase intention this study is focused on young educated consumers in Indonesia. This is reinforced by the recent rise in green business management at several companies, but still less education and public awareness on environmental issues and healthy living. This study investigates the relationship among brand awareness, perceived quality, brand trust and purchase intention toward green product “Ades” mineral water used purposive sampling with educated young consumers as subjects. The survey with questionnaires was conducted to collect the data. By implemented structural equation modeling (SEM) the results indicate that brand awareness has a significant effect toward purchase intention. Brand awareness and perceived quality have a significant and positive effects toward brand trust. Another result in this study shows that there is no positive effect of perceived quality and brand trust toward purchase intention.

Abstract

Computer systems cannot improve organizational performance if they aren’t used optimally. To better predict, explain and increase user acceptance, we need to better understand why people are accept or reject a computer system. Reject often happened in the application of a new system. Once website UMY was introduced in Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta a few years ago, it’s not fully used actually by now. This research designs to explain the variables that influence behavior of the student to use website UMY. The simple TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) that contain 3 variables is used. The variables are Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use and Actual Use. The results show that the three hypotheses are significantly proved. Both simultaneously and partially, Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use are significantly influenced student’s Actual Use of website UMY. These indicate that the more actual use of website UMY the more succesfull the website.

Abstract

The results of previous research that examines the effect of national culture on the effectiveness of human resource management practices provide empirical support that national culture affects human resource management practices. Nevertheless, the results have not been conclusive toward the degree of influence of national culture on the effectiveness of human resource management practices. It is caused that the previous studies on the influence of national culture toward human resource management practices is majority done by bundling all human resource management practices such as selection and recruitment, training, performance appraisal, compensation, and career in one study. Few studies discuss the influence of national culture on certain human resource management functions whereas national cultures specifically lead to certain human resource management functions. Therefore, it can be said that the degree of influence of national culture on human resource management practices depend on the certain functions of human resource management. This article discusses the influence of national culture on the effectiveness of the employee compensation practices in Indonesia, which will provide an important contribution to the development of compensation theory and organizational behavior to predict employee behavior. In addition, this article will also contribute to the organization as a reference to the decision in the company’s compensation plan.

Abstract

Purpose of this research was to analyze effects of organizational climate, organizational citizenship behavior, and social capital on knowledge sharing behavior. This research also analyzed effect of knowledge sharing behavior on individual innovation capability. Sample was 58 employees of BPR. Data was taken using questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis of linear regression. Result showed that only organizational climate and social capital affected knowledge sharing behavior. Result also showed that knowledge sharing behavior affected individual innovation capability.

Abstract

Study of organizational commitment is an important issue and relevant in today’s work environment. There is some shifting issues: (1) The debate for definitions and dimensions which forming commitments (1970-1980); (2) behavior exploration influenced by commitment (1990s); (3) the measurement of other factors that are directly or indirectly associated with the commitment - as moderated and / or mediated, also act as variables control (2000); and (4) involve an element of culture, the role of the foci, the use of multi-dimensional as a result of rapid changes in the borderless environment that causes individual easy to interact to get relevant information. This article is divided into four sections: (a) definition of organizational commitment; (b) the antecedents of organizational commitment; (c) organizational commitment research to turnover using social learning theory; and (d) issues for further research.
