Abstract

Penulis menemukan bahwa siswa masih kesulitan dalam menulis esai. Kemampuan siswadalam menulis esai secara keseluruhan masih rendah. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari nilai ulangansiswa yang rata-ratanya masih di bawah kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) yaitu 60, sementaraKKM yang telah ditetapkan oleh guru e” 75. Nilai terendah siswa juga jauh berada di bawah KKMyaitu 50. Hal ini mencerminkan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran bahasaIndonesia masih kurang memuaskan. Tujuan penelitian tindakan ini adalah untuk meningkatkanKemampuan Menulis Esai dengan Model Pembelajaran Picture and Picture Siswa Kelas XII IPA2 SMA Negeri 1 Kateman Tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri1 Kateman. Waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk penelitian ini dperkirakan adalah satu setengah bulanyaitu semenjak bulan Februari 2016 s/d Maret 2016. Terhitung dari waktu perencanaan sampaipenulisan laporan hasil penelitian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Siswa Kelas XII IPA 2 SMA Negeri1 Kateman Tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 22 orang. Hasil pembahasan padapenelitian ini sebagai berikut. Kemampuan membuat esai siswa pada tahap menulis meningkatpada siklus II. Peningkatan terjadi hampir pada semua aspek yang diamati pada setiap pertemuan.Pembelajaran dengan pembelajaran model picture and picture dapat meningkatkan keaktifanpeserta didik dalam belajar kelompok. Terdapat peningkatan rata-rata hasil ulangan akhir siklus.Adanya peningkatan jumlah peserta didik yang mendapat nilai e” 75 dari satu siklus ke siklusyang lain. Adanya peningkatan respons peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran. Pembelajaranmodel picture and picture dapat meminimalkan kesulitan belajar peserta didik.The authors found that students still had difficulty in writing essays. Students’ ability to writeessays as a whole is still low. This can be seen from the student’s average score is still belowthe minimum completeness criteria (KKM) that is 60, while the KKM which has been establishedby the teacher e” 75. The lowest score of students is also far below the KKM is 50. This reflectsthat students’ understanding of Indonesian language learning materials is still not satisfactory.The purpose of this action research is to improve the Essay Writing Skill by Model LearningPicture and Picture Student Class XII IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kateman Year lesson 2015/2016. Thisresearch was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Kateman. The time required for this study is estimatedto be one and a half months ie from February 2016 to March 2016. From the time of planning untilthe writing of the research report. The subjects of this study are students of Class XII IPA 2 SMANegeri 1 Kateman 2015/2016 lesson year which amounted to 22 people. The results of thediscussion in this study as follows. The ability to create a student essay at the writing stageincreases in cycle II. Increases occur in almost every aspect observed at each meeting. Learningby learning the picture and picture model can increase the learner activity in group learning.There is an increase in the average of end-cycle repeat results. There is an increase in thenumber of learners who score e” 75 from one cycle to another cycle. There is an increasedresponse of learners to learning. Learning the picture and picture model can minimize learningdifficulties learners.

Abstract

Studi literatur ini mengkaji kemampuan abstraksi anak usia dini mengenai topik astronomidengan media big book. Melalui penggunaan media big book, anak usia dini dengan mudahmampu menciptakan bentuk tiruan, menggambarkan dengan tepat, dan menangkap esensidari sebuah pesan. Hasil kajian literatur ini menggambarkan bahwa media big book memberikankemudahan bagi anak usia dini dalam mengabstraksi dunia astronomi. Oleh karena itu, mediabig book tepat menjadi salah satu pilihan untuk digunakan dalam mengembangkan kemampuanabstraksi anak usia dini mengenai topik astronomi.This literature study examines the ability of early childhood abstraction on astronomical topicswith big book media. Through the use of big book media, early childhood is easily able to createartificial forms, describe precisely, and capture the essence of a message. The results of thisliterature review illustrates that the big book media provides convenience for early childhood inabstracting the world of astronomy. Therefore, the big book media is rightly an option to be usedin developing early childhood abstraction abilities on astronomical topics.
