Abstract

Housing does not only function as a shelter. A good housing is housing that pays attention to all aspects such as comfort, safety and feasibility. In addition, a good home is a house that meets all the technical and health requirements. This is what then encourages to make observations on one housing in Banyuwangi. This study aims to describe or know the picture of environmental sanitation Y housing in Banyuwangi Regency. This research is included in the type of descriptive observational research with the number of samples are 10 houses. Assessment is done on two major components namely the general condition of housing and housing conditions. The general conditions of housing include waste management, distance to landfill, road access, green space, educational facilities, health, economy and security. While the condition of the house can be assessed from variable windows, ceilings, walls, sinks, storage and physical quality of clean water, mosquito larvae, ventilation in the kitchen and waste sorting. The overall scoring result of all assessment components on 10 homes is summed and divided by the maximum value. The result found that Y housing in Banyuwangi Regency included in the category enough.

Abstract

Toddler’s Mother Class has an important role in improving the coverage of exclusive breast feeding. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of the Toddler’s Mother Class with exclusive breast feeding practice in Public Health Center of Godong I.This study used qualitative methods with snowball sampling techniques. The informant of the study are toddler’s mother who have a child aged 6-12 months with total informant are ten informant. Collecting data technique with in-depth interviews and used interview guidelines.The results showed that implementation of Toddler’s Mother Class was done three times a year by the facilitator, consists of a village midwives, public health centers midwives, and a nutritionist or dental expert or infectious disease control officer. Source of funding the activities derived from Special Operational Assistance (BOK), media health promotion used a sheet back, and targets were not grouped by age, but focused on toddlers who haved growing hibicus problems. Most of informants have knowledgeable about exclusive breast feeding and have agreed to give exclusive breast feeding. However, only a portion (50%) the informant can provide exclusive breast feeding to her baby, because the lack of support from the husband and family.Toddler’s Mother Class at Public Health Center of Godong I was implemented in all of the village, but there was still mother of a baby who does not provide exclusive breast feeding.

Abstract

The outbreaks of food poisoning in 2015 occurred in several districts, namely Batang, Langkat, Kebumen, Tabanan and Kolako districts. Preliminary study on 20 female Pesantren Pondok Pesantren "Takhfidzul Quran Miftahul Ulum" Terboyo Wetan, 14% have ever had diarrhea or abdominal pain in the last 3 months. For the provision of food in this boarding school, held a cooking system, then eat together. So if the processing and storage of food less hygienic, can increase the risk of food borne disease. Therefore, efforts should be made to increase the capacity of boarding school dwellers in preventing food borne disease, so the health of the boarding school residents can be maintained. Implementation of foodborne diseases prevention training with peer education method begins with licensing and coordination with pesantren boarding school, socialization, increasing knowledge of disease hazard, prevention of foodborne diseases, healthy food, preparation of hygiene food processing and storage form, direct practice of processing And food storage in Pondok Pesantren, the process of measuring the results of dedication and data processing, and evaluation and dissemination of community service activities. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire for measuring knowledge, attitude and practice. Research subjects consist of administrators, teachers/ ustad and ustadzah and santri. Communication, information and education provided by involving the discussion of cottage and boardingers of pesantren. Test the results data with Wilcoxon.The results show the knowledge, attitude, and behavior of prevention of foodborne diseases after being given foodborne diseases prevention training with peer education method significantly increased p value <0.05. Abstract

Mobile health with its popularity and availability has considerable potential to increase access to health care, especially in improving maternal health. Mobile health-based interventions are used to spread health information because of its availability, cheap and does not require large technological expertise, can be accessed at any time. Previous research has proven that periodic message reminders using cellphones effectively encourage and strengthen healthy behavior. This research is part of a health promotion intervention for pregnant women based on mobile health which aims to evaluate the use of mobile health to promote the health of pregnant women qualitatively.Descriptive qualitative research design with an observational approach from the results of the intervention of pregnant women groups conducted in April - July 2018. A purposive sampling technique, the number of samples 102. Qualitative data analysis in this study.The number of respondents using whatsapp application 102 people, 47% active respondents. Mobile health for effective health promotion (97%) and acceptable. Interesting content (98%) in general assessment of positive content: increasing knowledge of pregnant women (68%). The most questions about the daily care of pregnant women, the response to the intervention: can continue until the respondent gives birth.Mobile health for health promotion of pregnant women is effective and acceptable.

Abstract

Food packaging that provides food labels to inform consumers about product quality. Food labeling is done with the aim of providing a sense of security to consumers without having to open the product packaging. Supervision conducted by the Department of Industry and Trade and the Health Service in 12 sub-districts in Banyuwangi district, industrial owners do not have PIRT and do not know the food label conditions. This can increase the potential for insecurity and insecure quality. Packaging food from Banyuwangi area is for the production of home industry in the form of packaging. The objective of the study was to evaluate food labels in household industries that produce diets in Banyuwangi.The research design is cross sectional with observation method in 12 household industries conducted at the Trade Industry Service of Banyuwangi Regency. The data collection used a questionnaire survey on the results of an industrial sample. Descriptive data analysis, presented in proportion to tables and narratives. The results obtained 50% of 12 household products have met the minimum label criteria in accordance with Government Regulation No.69 of 1999 on Food Label and Advertisement. The lower inclusion of the manufacturer's name and address affects the product in the completeness of the label attribute.

Abstract

Based on Indonesian Statistic Center, in 2012 total of textile industry (including batik) was 4,553 businesses. The process of making traditional batik is still through a manual process which are draw the pattern in fabric, cover the pattern using hot candle, coloring the fabric and removing the candle from fabric. The work attitude of batik workers is to sit in a small chairs without backrest and do batik activities for proximately 6 hours/day. This research is a quantitative study using a cross sectional research design. The method used is observation to observe the work posture of workers when doing work and using the QEC (Quick Exposure Check) quetionnaire to assess work attitudes. The study population was batik workers in Bantul, Yogyakarta with a sampling technique using simple random sampling totaling 50 workers. Based on the assessment of the level of exposure to ergonomic risk using Quick Exposure Check, work attitudes in batik workers have a very high score on the neck with a percentage of 8%. Followed by 34% and 44% with high and medium exposure levels. The working attitude on the back of the batik is also considered to have a high exposure level with a percentage of 4% and a moderate exposure rate of 68%. The work position of batik workers in around their wrist, has a moderate score with a percentage of 74%. Unlike other body parts, the work attitude of the batik does not overload the batik shoulder which has a low score of 62%. Workers who complained of difficulties in doing work were also quite high with a percentage of 66%, relatively low scores on driving work attitudes, exposure to vibration and work stress. Based on these data, it is known that the most risky work attitudes to workers in batik are on the both upper neck and bottom neck. From the results of this study can be made interventions to reduce the risk of exposure to work attitudes on the neck of batik workers, Bantul, Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Adolescent reproductive health problems partly because of the lack of information on reproductive health care. Information about reproductive health care should be given to adolescents through various media such radio spot.The aims to makes an effective radio spots media for 2nd grade students of Senior High School, Subah.This study used a combination study with sequential exploratory design. The approach on quantitative research phase was the pre-experimental design one group pretest-posttest design. The first step of the research was an interview for requirements analysis; second, wrote radio script spot; third, a feasibility test spot radio script; fourth,  radio spots production; fifth, cognitive pretest; Sixth, radio spot exposure to students; and last cognitive post-test.The results of this study was an average of study subjects stated reproductive health care can be done only by cleaning the reproductive organs after urination. There were differences in knowledge prior to exposure to radio spots on reproductive health care knowledge after exposure to radio spots on reproductive health care (p = 0.0001). Increase of knowledge was 29.17% as a result of exposure to radio spots.Schools are advised to sustain playing the radio spot about reproductive health care periodically and continuously as well as the need for the development of reproductive health materials according to the development situation of students.

Abstract

Adolescence is a time of self-discovery that encourages him to have a high curiosity and have complex problems. One is a sexually transmitted disease. Factors that cause the occurrence of sexually transmitted diseases in adolescents is the lack of information and knowledge about sexually transmitted diseases. Research To determine the effect of health education on the knowledge and attitude of students about sexually transmitted diseases in senior high school Nusantara Indah Sintang District in 2018. Quantitative research with Pre Experimental approach, the planning used is One Group Pre test and Post test.Rresearch shows T-test paired sample with P value = 0,000 <0,05 this indicates that there are differences before and after health education on students' knowledge and attitudes about sexually transmitted diseases. Health education influences students' knowledge and attitude about sexually transmitted diseases in senior high school  Nusantara Indah Sintang 2018. Health education on sexually transmitted diseases should be continued to improve knowledge and change the attitude of students in adolescence.

Abstract

Menstrual pain is a symptoms and was not a diseases caused by hiperkontraktilitas the uterus caused by prostaglandins. Research purposes is identified influence of red ginger water towards the intensity of menstrual pain. Research purposes is identified influence of red ginger water towards the intensity of menstrual pain on students D3 midwifery second semester. This research uses quasi-experiment method. The population is that suffer from menstrual pain as many as 26 people. The sampling method is total population. The analysis is bivariate analysis using wilcoxon test. Based on the results of the statistics got that on respondents the intervention group were given before treatment (61,5%) or 8 people suffer from mild pain, after given treatment (46,2%) or 6 people did not experience pain, respondents group controls on first observation (69,2%) or 9 people suffer from mild pain, on second observation (69,2%) or 9 people suffer from mild pain. The result of the statistic test using wilcoxon test in the intervention group shows the p-value = 0,001 with CI of 95% (α = 0,005) it can be said that p-value <αso that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

Speech delay to children in recent years has always increased, the prevalence of speech disorders varies in numbers from 1 to 32% in the normal population. In social life will also be very influential, the child will always feel alone without being able to voice what is desired, and always not understood by others if he wants something with wrong language. This study aims to get the influence was maternal education, maternal employment status and family factor of speech delay  to children aged 48-72 months. Quantitative research with cross sectional design in samples of pre school children, the results with P value 0.582 for parent education variables, P value 0,245 for the variable work status of the mother, and P value 0.853for  the family history variable. All variables in this study that there was no influence between these variables with the delay in talking to children aged 48-72 months. actually, the development of speaking, speaking of children has begun to be stimulated since the baby, but the form of communication is different from each stage, and if the child is test earlier about their language it will prevent the child from late language development disorders, especially in normal children without history certain diseases from the womb and at birth.
