Abstract

ABSTRACT   The aim of this research is to know the labor’s productivity and the income that is aimed from the farming business. This research used Study Cases method with the direct observation over Mr. Sutejo’s farming business in Kedungori village, Kecamatan Dempet, Kabupaten Demak during 2008 who has 1 acre farming land. The results of this research are: 1. The highest labor’s productivity in the second planting period is in amount of Rp. 401.590, 91per male week days.2. The farming business highest income in the first planting period is in amount of Rp. 39.651.000 per acre. Key words: Farming business, labor’s productivity, farmer’s income.

Abstract

ABSTACTS The purpose of the article is to obtain understanding of how far is independence of science by philosophy of science and quantum theory point of view. From philosophy of science point of view, independence and objectivity of obtaining science is questionable because of acsiological, teteological, ethical aspects to support human needs. There is also evident in quantum physics theory supporting the subjectivity of the observers in examination during experiment. Subjectivity of obtaining science, therefore, must be intensively discuss in the field of metaphysics.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu sumber pendapatan penting Negara Indonesia berasal dari Sektor pajak. Namun masih ada sub sektor pajak yang masih minim sekali (belum optimal) kontribusinya, yaitu berasal dari penarikan pajak pertambahan nilai (PPN) terhadap produksi pertanian. Walaupun sebenarnya UUPPN sudah lama diputuskan (tahun 1984 dan dirubah pada tahun 1994) pendapatan dari penarikan PPN paling besar bahkan secara potensial jauh lebih besar dari pendapatan penarikan pajak lainnya seperti PBB (pajak bumi dan bangunan), PPH (pajak penghasilan), PPn (pajak penjualan). Hal ini disebabkan oleh: 1) saat ini Indonesia masih terasa dalam kondisi krisis ekonomi; 2) belum ada sinkronisasi (komitmen bersama yang kuat) antara Menteri Pertanian, Dirjen Pajak, DPR RI dan pengusaha hasil pertanian selaku wajib pajak tentang pemberlakuannya; 3) UUPPN Th 1984 dan UUPPN Th 1994 sebagai produk orde baru disamping penetapan dan pemberlakuannya kurang sosialisasi. Untuk itu agar efektif dan efisien pemberlakuan UU tersebut  sebagai tahap awal adalah: 1) khusus diberlakukan kepada wajib pajak seperti semua konsumen, pembeli terakhir produk pertanian (pedagang/pengusaha, koperasi) tidak termasuk petani, buruh tani, petani penggarap , 2) batas terendah PPN bagi produk pertanian yang omzetnya minimal Rp 240.000.000,-; 3) pengenaan PPN bagi produk pertanian masih bisa dinaikkan atau diturunkan 5% dari ketentuan UU yang sebenarnya 10%. Kata kunci: macam-macam pajak, UUPPN Tahun 1984 dan 1994, wajib pajak, produk pertanian.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian Pemberdayaan Petani oleh Perusahaan Secara Konsepsional, telah dilakukan dengan baik di kabupaten Cilacap pada bulan Maret sampai Agustus tahun 2013. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mendapatkan konsep dasar pemberdayaan petani yang dikembangkan oleh PT Holcim dan bagaimana model konsepsional pemberdayaan petani yang dapat diberlakukan oleh PT Holcim  di masa mendatang, sedangkan  metode penelitian dengan cara kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep pemberdayaan petani oleh perusahaan yang dapat diterapkan pada perusahaan penyelenggarakan pemberdayaan petani oleh perusahaan telah dikembangkan pada pendekatan bahwa konsep dasar yang dipergunakan perusahaan mempunyai konsep three bottom line yaitu profit, people dan planet, dimana konsep ini masih tetap dipergunakan sebagai dasar pelaksanaan CSR perusahaan. Keterpaduan planet, people dan profit tidak dapat dipisahkan dan merupakan langkah yang perusahaan dalam memperhatikan dan mempertangungjawabkan semua aktivitas perusahaaan. Model pemberdayaan petani yang diusulkan pada perusahaan dengan konsep 4P yaitu. phylantropy, planet, poeple, dan profit sangat tepat dipergunakan sebagai konsep dasar pemberdayaan petani oleh perusahaan dalam medukung budaya gotong royong.   Kata Kunci. Konsep pemberdayaan, perusahaan dan petani.

Abstract

Research on the "Test of Dosage and Frequency of Urea Fertilizer Applications To Growth of White Teak Seedlings (Gmelina arborea Roxb.)”  has been started on May 12 to July 26, 2013 at green house of agriculture faculty of Slamet Riyadi University which is located in Village Kadipiro, Subdistrict Banjarsari, Town Surakarta, Province Central Java. This study aims to determine the best dosage and frequency of urea fertilzer application  as well as to determine interaction between dosage and frequency of urea fertilzer application on the growth of White Teak seedlings. The research design  was factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD, consisted of 2 factors and 3 replications. Data  were  analyzed  by  Analysis  of  Variance  (Anova),  continued  by  Honestly Significant Diferent Test (HSDT) on 5 % significant level. Results of this study showed that the dosage of urea fertilizer significantly affected all growth parameters namely height of seedling, diameter of stem, number of leaf, area of leaf fresh weight of root, dry weight of root, fresh weight of seedling and dry weight of seedling. While the frequency of urea fertilzer application significantly affected only on area of leaf, fresh weight of root, and dry weight of root. Interaction between dosage and frequency of urea fertilizer application  did not significantly affect all growth parameters. Treatment which gives the best effect on all parameters fertilizer growth is 0.50 g / seed / application and frequency of 2 weeks. Key words : Dosage,Frequency , Urea Fertilizer,White Teak, Seedlings

Abstract

Research on "The Effect of Length stums and leaf fertilizer concentration on growth of stum rubber sleep eyes (Hevea brasiliensis Muell. Arg.). aimed to determine the effect of stum length and concentration leaf fertilizer concentration on growth of stum rubber sleep eyes, was carried on May 7, 2013 to August 2, 2013, in a plastic  house, garden experiments Slamet Riyadi Faculty of Agriculture, University of Surakarta, which is  located  in  the  village of  Mojosongo,  District  Banjarsari,  Surakarta  with altitude 143 meters above sea level. The method used in the research is arranged to use completely randomized design (CRD) with two treatment factors. The first factor cutting length 10 cm, 15 cm, and 20 cm. The second factor of Gandasil D leaf fertilizer 0 g/liter water, 1 g/liter water , 2 g/liter water, and 3g/liter water, in order to obtain 12 combinations of treatment and repeated 3 times. The results showed: (1) Stum length treatment effect on all the parameters are observed ie shoot height, number of leaves, bud diameter, amount of roots, bud fresh weight and dry weight of bud. Stum length 15 cm produces a good bud growth is 31.15 cm bud height and bud diameter 5.48 mm. Stum 20 cm long while the amount of leaves produced 11.84 strands, the amount of roots of pieces 7.40, 18.73 g shoot fresh weight, and bud dry weight of 3.66 g. (2) Concentration and leaf fertilizer Gandasil D height effect  on  all  parameters  was  observed  that  shoot  height,  number  of  leaves,  bud diameter, amount of roots, bud fresh weight and dry weight of bud. Concentration of 3 g / liter of water produces good growth is 31.39 cm tall bud, bud 6.18 mm diameter, the amount of leaves 12 pieces, the amount of pieces roots 7.55, 19.44 g bud fresh weight and  dry weight  of  bud  3  ,  80  g.(3) There is  no  interaction  treatment  length  and concentration of fertilizer stum Gandasil D observations on all parameters. Abstract

The research on :"The Effect of Number of Seeds Per Hole Against Growth and Yield of Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt)" has been started on October 18, 2012 until January 17, 2013 at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University Slamet Riyadi  which is located in the Village Kadipiro, Subdistrict Banjarsari, Town Surakarta. The purpose of this research to determine the effect of the number of seeds per hole on the growth and yield osf the best so that the effectiveness and efficiency of sweet corn planting can be achieved. This research uses the basic design of CRD (completely randomized design) consisting of 3 treatments with 11 replications. The treatment is as follows: A = 1 seed per hole B = 2 seeds per hole C = 3 seeds per hole Data were analyzed using analysis of Variance, which is followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% significant level. The results showed: (1) treatment affected the number of seeds per hole increases the growth and yield of sweet corn crop that is high at the age of 7 weeks after planting, stover fresh weight per plant, fresh weight of stover per hole, stover dry weight per plant, dry weight of stover per hole, heavy cob consumption per plant, cob weight consumption per hole, and the number of cobs per hole. While the number of cobs per plant, number of seed treatment had no effect, (2) treatment 1 seed per plant obtained the highest results on plant height at the age of 7 weeks after planting, stover fresh weight per plant, dry weight of stover per plant, and weight cob consumption per plant, and (3) Treatment of 3 seeds per hole to obtain the highest yield on fresh weight of stover per hole is 2574.55 g, dry weight of stover per hole is 600.81 g, cob weight per hole consumption is 668 g, and the number of cobs hole is 3.55 per ear.   Key words :  Seeds, Growth,Yield , Sweet Corn

Abstract

The research of " THE INFLUENCE OF   CULTIVATION METHOD  AND THE DOSAGE OF FERTILIZER   UREA TO GROWTH AND YIELD OF LEAF LETTUCE CROP (Lactuca sativa L.)" have been done to start December 19th 2012 until January 23th 2013   at greenhouse of agriculture faculty of Slamet Riyadi University which is located in Village Kadipiro, Subdistrict Banjarsari, Town Surakarta, Province Central Java. The purpose of research was to know the influence of planting method, the influence of dosage of fertilizer urea, and its influence of interaction to growth and yield of lettuce crop. Research use elementary design the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial, consist of 2 treatment factor and 3 replications. Data  analyzed  to  use  Analysis  of  Variance  (Anova),  continued  with  Honestly Significant Difference Test (HSD) on 5% significant level. The result of the research, are: 1) method of cultivation have the influence to growth and yield of leaf lettuce crop, method of  cultivation the best is the direct cultivation because it can increase of height the crops, width of leaves,  length of leaves, number of leaves, fresh weight the crop, a dry weight the crop, and net weight the consumption significantly, 2 giving  the fertilizer urea with dosage 1,2 g / polybag have an influence the  best to growth and the yield of leaf lettuce because it can increases height  of  crop, width of leaves, length of leaves,, number of leaves, fresh weight of the crops, a dry weight of the crop, and the net weight of consumption, and 3) influence of interaction  only happened at  height of crops  and its interaction influence differ in each treatment level. At level   of dosage urea, influence of interaction   between dosage 0,4 g / polybag with direct cultivation, influence of interaction  between dosage 1,2 g / polybag with direct cultivation, and iinfluence of interaction  between  dosage 1,6 g / polybag with direct cultivation. is the best. While at level of method of cultivation,  influence of interaction between way of direct cultivation with dosagee 1,2 g / polybag is the best. Key words: dosage, urea fertilizer, leaf lectuce

Abstract

Research on "The Effect of giving arbuscular mycorrhizal and Organic Fertilizer Against growth of white teak seedlings (Gmelina arborea Roxb.) has been started on April 2013 until July2013 at green house of agriculture faculty of Slamet Riyadi University which is located in Village Kadipiro,Subdistrict Banjarsari, Town Surakarta, Province Central Java. The research design  was factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factor and 3 replication. Data  were  analyzed  by  Analysis  of  Variance  (Anova),  continued  by  Honestly Significant Diferent Test (HSDT) on 5 % significant level. The results show: Mycorrhizal best dose is 10 g / polybag because it can produce the highest seedlings height is 157.89 cm, weight  of  the  fresh  seedlings is  333.42 g  toughest,  heaviest  and  dry  weightof seedlingsis 86.37 g,. Best organic fertilizer is compost because it can produce the highest seedlings height 13 cm, diameter of the largest trunk is 12.18 mm, the highest number of leaves is 30.33 leaves, fresh weight is 306.49 g toughest seedlings, and dry weight of seedlingsof the heaviest is 79,86 g., and Best interactions happen  on  a  combination  of  compost  with  mycorrhizal  dosage  10  g/polybag because  it  produces  the  smallest  root-shoot  ratio  is  2.116,  a  combination  of compost with mycorrhizal dosage of 15 g / polybag because it produces the smallest root-shoot ratio is 2.237, and the combination of mycorrhizal dose 10 g / polybag with cow dung manure because it produces the smallest root-shoot ratio is 2.175. Abstract

The research "The effect kind of mulch and pruning on the growth and yield of watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris schard). Aimed to known the effect kind of mulching and pruning on the growth and yield of watermelon. Had been done 21th May 2013 to 19th July 2013 Tohudan village, Colomadu district, Karanganyar regency with altitude of 110 meters above sea level. This research arranged by Completely Randomized Block Design (RCBD) with two factors treatments. The first factor is kind of mulch consist of: without the mulch, the reeds mulch, straw mulch, silver black plastic of mulch, and black silver plastic of mulch. The second factor is the effect pruning consists of: without the pruning and with pruning so the obtained ten combined treatment and three replication. The results showed, (1) Treatment kinds of mulch increase Length of Plant, weigh of fruits, circle of fruits, fresh weight of biomass, and dry weight of biomass (2) The best results are treatments silver black plastic of mulch with a length of plant 353,98 cm, and weight of fruit 5.47 kg. (3) Treatment without pruning give results of length of plant the highest 319, 84 cm. (4) The interaction between the kinds of mulch with pruning had no effect at all parameters.   Key words : mulch, pruning, watermelon
