Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of principals in improving teacher’s performance at SMAMuhammadiyah Surakarta 2. The method used in this research uses qualitative descriptive.Data collection techniques in research were observation, interviews, and documentation.Researchers using theory of Mulyasa (2009) with 7 indicators. From the results of the analysis itcan be concluded that the principal already did its role properly and effectively. Abstract

This research was conducted to describing the service effectiveness of police clearancecertificate or SKCK at Sat Intelkam in Polresta Surakarta. The techniques used in this researchnamely, interview, observation, documentation. The informant is determined using a purposivesampling technique by choosing which is considered to know the problems in this research andaccidental sampling to select anyone that found while taking service of SKCK. As of indicatorsused to assesss the effectiveness of these services is a factor of resources, funds andinfrastructure, the amount and quality, the time limit, and ordinances. The results of thisresearch, indicate that the services of police clearance certificate at the Polresta Surakarta isalready effective.Key words : effectiveness, public service

Abstract

Xiaomi is one of the products vendor smartphone from china was rising celebrity. The use ofsmartphone Xiaomi start much demanded by marked by the phenomenon smartphone otherbrands switch to smartphone brand Xiaomi likely caused by persuasive communication word ofmouth and perception users of that product. With the owned smartphone Xiaomi able to attractconsumers. This research aims to prove a positive influence products perception andcommunications activity of ‘word of mouth’ against the decision of the use of products amongstudents the regular science of communication sosial science faculty of Sebelas Maret universitysurakarta. The kind of research is eksplanatory research and sample totaled 79 people. Abstract

The standard and target group of the program was good because it is given to peoplewith disabilities who are poor and still productive, this program has not been able to meetthroughout the disability who need help it is evident that from 273 disabled people only 125people with disabilities who helped by this programs. Human resources were well and effectivebecause it includes all stakeholders, from the city bureaucrat to the lowest bureaucratic orderi.e. village. Budgetary resources have not been sufficient for all of the recipients in Surakarta.Facilities or infrastructure in the implementation of the program is already good because it suitsthe needs of the disabled. Communication between the implementing organization andcommunication is done by other government agencies are already good but communication withprivate institutions is very less. The economic environment, social and political policy is givenon the disabled which have low economic conditions or can be found on the poor citizens. Socialconditions showed that the target group not yet peace. Managing the disposition has a goodcommitment in assisting the implementation of the development programme infrastructure caredisabilities and trauma.Key words: policy implementation, construction of infrastructure, the disabled and trauma

This research was based on researchers seeing the success of anima coffee & chill seensignificantly within 1 years after the coffee shop be established. The media that used in isfacebook and instagram. The purpose of this research is to describe how marketingcommunications anima coffe & chill via facebook and instagram to improve the customerloyalty. Methods used in research is with the study descriptive qualitative. The result showedthat the activity of marketing communications using instagram can be successfully due to theresponse from customers of any information as a new kind of coffee and promo releasedthrough instagram. But in the use of facebook anima coffee & chill having an smallerresponses than the instagram because that is in facebook post is only connected frominstagram. Abstract

This study aimed to describe and analyze the extent to which corporate idnetity of Aziza Hotelas a Sharia Hotel. The results of this study indicate that corporate identity is carried out byAziza Hotel includes the symbol of the company such as the name of company, logo, uniforms,colors and designs of buildings; behavior and also communications did. In its application,about the symbol, Aziza Hotel choose Islamic names, using a specific color choice. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe how ethnocentrism, stereotypes and prejudices thatdevelop among the workers (employees) Javanese and Chinese in Surakarta. Howethnocentrism, stereotypes and prejudices influence in communication. This research isqualitative descriptive case study approach. Data collection technique used in-depthinterview and FGD (Focus Group Discussion). The Uncertainty Reduction Theory candescribe the results of this study. People with different ethnicities looking for informationabout other to reduce uncertainty before they make communication. They use the informationto predict the behavior of others. The study also shows that the development ofcommunication that ensue does not depend on ethnicity but depends on the personalcharacter and attitude. Abstract

The issues of nir-military security are increasingly become world's attention post 9/11. Thecrime of human rights abuse, faith-based attacks and terrorism is throughout the country.Indonesia seeks to shape perception of international public with the theme of moderate Islamin deradicalization program facing Transnational Islamic Movement and Organizations inIndonesia. On the other hands, endeavouring the issues is not only undertaken by the state.This study attempts to explain the strategies of the International Conferenceof Islamic Scholars (ICIS) IV as a forum initiated to promote further moderate Islam toIndonesian people facing the transnational movements. By using the concept of nationalsecurity and religious track diplomacy, this qualitative analysis research focuses onthe strategy of ICIS as a non-state actor in Indonesia’s diplomacy. The result indicates that inICIS IV viewing the transnational movements and organizations may do harm on Indonesianreligious life. ICIS IV through its co-operations with indonesian government and local islamicNGO aiming to release tensions between the peoples. Viewed from the perspective ofideology, educations and Islamic moderate principles, the strategies seen in the forum’sactions.
