Abstract

The purpose of this study will try to build Petri Net’s flows of scheduling installation repair service system at PDAM. Futhermore, from Petri Net’s flows that has been made, it will be built coverability tree to analyze livesness and deadlocks, then create Max Plus Algebra model. Next process is analyze  and simulating Max Plus Algebra model that has been made. The analyze result of Petri Net’s flows of scheduling installation repair service system that has been created is the Petri Net never get deadlocks and always livesness, also the simulation and analyze from Max Plus algebra model deliver that for one time repairing service system start from registration till repair the installation completed need 940 minutes or 1 day 7 hours 40 minutes

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada salah satu Novel karya Mark Twain dengan judul The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Penulis menganalisis humor dan satire yang tersirat. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bentuk-betuk humor apa sajakah yang tersirat dan bentuk-bentuk satire apa sajakah yang tercermin dalam novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Kedua masalah tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosial dan psikologis. Humor terjadi ketika penampilan kebodohan dan kinerja Bibi Polly sebagai wanita sederhana dan Tom Sawyer sebagai anak yang licik. Kedua sikap pelaku utama menunjukkan humor dalam aksi mereka. Humor dapat dilihat melalui percakapan mereka dan deskripsi story-teller. Penggambaran satire ditunjukkan oleh ejekan dari kebiasan kebaktian gereja, proses pendidikan untuk anak-anak, kebodohan dan kekejaman guru di kota kecil dan kritikan pada diskriminasi ras. Humor dan satire ini ditujukan kepada kehidupan dan tingkah laku orang dewasa.

Abstract

Pace fruit (Morinda citrifolia, L) is known by people as an ingredient of beverage. In addition, the people take it as medicine for dysentery. It was carried out a study with the intention of observing the antibacterial activity of extract of pace fruit, on bacteria Shigella dysentriae. The dried fruit was pounded to powder then a filtering was made employing Soxhlet, with ethanol as the extractor. The extract had been obtained was then evaporated to achieve viscosity and it was made a serial of dilution in various concentration, namely, 2,5%, 5%, 10%, and 20% b/v by propilen glikol solvent and an examination was performed for the activity of antibacterial involved. To negative control it was used propilen glikol and while positive control it was used kanamizi. Bacteria used was Shigella dysentriae. The examination adapted the method of Nutrient gel solid diphusy to see Minimal Obstacle Rate (Kadar Hambat Minimal). The outcome of antibacterial test showed that the extract of pace demonstrated antibacterial activity on Shigella dysentriae, at a minimal obstacle rate 20% b/v. To see the chemical content of pace fruit, it was performed thin chromatography on the extract of pace fruit to observe the profile of spots involved. The outcome of examination for the content of compound under ultra violet ray 254 nm and 366 nm, showed that the extract of pace was possibly containing fenol compound.

Abstract

The mothers of cerebral palsy children tend to have poor quality of life, because there are parenting challenges. During this time program of rehabilitation more focusedon children with cerebral palsy than the caregiver. This study tried to describe the quality of life mothers, with CP children. Subjects were 32 mothers, from Kulon Progo regency, which parenting CP children. Quantitative descriptive methods used in this study. The results showed that high quality of life owned by many mothers with incomes of more than  Rp 40.000 per day, it does not work, at least a high school education, aged about 31 years to 46 years, and have been married for 9 years.

Abstract

Sriwedari area was popular as the center of trade books. Book traders’s perception related to factors influencing book sales was needed associated with strategy and efforts held by Solo city government and book trader association to increase book sales. The objective of this research was to give empirical evidence about factors influencing book sales. Data collected by questionnaire were analyzed by ordinal logistic regression. The results show that bookstore discount, the collection of used books and the collection of new books significantly affected the book sales. While shop opening hours insignificantly affected the book sales.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyze the impact of satisfaction on loyalty to the brand trust as a mediating variable. The population in this study is the Blackberry users in Unika Widya Mandala Madiun, using purposive sampling. The analysis technique using path analysis. The result of this research shows that  satisfaction variables directly influence the trust and loyalty. Variable trust direct effect on loyalty. Variable satisfaction indirect effect on loyalty through brand trust.

Abstract

This study aimed (1) to determine the diversities and activities of tortoise beetles on fence kale plants (Ipomea carnea) in Madiun and (2) to analyze their ecological effects on the environment. This research was conducted from January up to September 2014 in the Madiun town. The method used was the location tracer of fence kale plants and identification as well as observation on the activities of tortoise beetles. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results revealed that (1) there were two kinds of tortoise beetles on the fence kale plants - Aspidomorpha sanctaecrucis Fabricius and Aspidomorpha miliaris Fabricius, whose activities became  pests on the fence kale plants. The activities of Aspidomorpha sanctaecrucis Fabricius were more dominant; and  ecologically the tortoise beetles as pests of leaves inhibited the growth and development of the fence kale plants only, but not the other plants  around them. And, parasitic symbiosis occurred between the tortoise beetles and the fence kale plants

Abstract

The purpose of this study demonstrate empirically that the Internet Financial Reporting (IFR) effect on abnormal return, abnormal return before and after applying IFR different, and the volume of stock trading company before and after applying IFR different. Samples were determined using purposive sampling technique . Based on specific criteria, manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013 as sample 115. To test the hypothesis  1 used a simple linear regression analysis, while for the hypothesis 2nd and 3rd use different test . The results showed that IFR had no effect on abnormal return, abnormal return before and after applying IFR is no different, and the volume of stock trading company before and after applying IFR is no different.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop the circle instructional kits in 8th grade on 2nd semester based on Gardner's multiple intelligence oriented to students’ achievement and self-regulated learning in mathematics which has a good quality.theoryThe instructional kits in this research are consists of lesson plans and students’ worksheets which has validity, practicality, and effectiveness criteria. The developing model was ADDIE’s model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The analysis of the validity and practicality of the data was done by converting the quantitative data in the form of assessment result score into the qualitative data in the form of five scales. The analysis of the effectiveness of the test results was conducted by determining the percentage of the students’ learning mastery. The assessment of self-regulated mathematics learning questionnaires was conducted by determining the percentage of the students for each category. The result of the validation shows that lesson plans and students’ worksheets valid in a very good category. The lesson plans and students’ worksheets are practical in a very good category based on teachers’ assessment and the implementation of learning, a good category based on students’ assessment. Instructional kits also effective based on students’ mathematics achievement and self-regulated learning.The percentage of the students who completed the mathematics achievement test is 88.86%. The total score of the final students’ self-regulated learning questionnaires is more thanthat of the early students’ self-regulated learning questionnaires and the percentage of the students who achieved minimal high category is 96%.

Abstract

The UMKM’s of soybean processing in Madiun is 100 in number. All of them are small home industries Most of the soybean processing businesses do not make use of good management system yet. Consequently, they  face so many problems and barriers to develop their businesses. One effort in the management system intended is concerned with supply control and determination of daily production, which will  influence  the  operation of those companies. It is due to the fact that the two aspects are closely related to the level of market demand. If the amount of production and the number of requests are not met or approached at a point, then there will be a loss. In Murni, one of the UMKM’s of soybean processing,  it frequently happens that the number of production is excessive or short compared to the market demand in the period of production. As a result, some of the soybean is not saleable, or market demand is not met. The data analysis indicates that the total need for raw materials of soybean per year is 85,403 kg. In connection with stock planning, the analysis using POQ method shows that reservation interval (T) is 4 periods ahead and requires a total cost of IDR 617,449,375 annually.
