Abstract

This study aimed to prove empirically that: company size, profitability, liquidity, leverage, and listing age have a positive effect on Internet Financial Reporting (IFR). The data were financial statements audited by companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange until 2014. They were obtained from www.idx.co.id and www.sahamok.com. The sampling technique was purposive sampling and the data collected were 228 companies. Hypothesis testing used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study showed that firm size had a positive effect on IFR, while profitability, liquidity, leverage, and age of listing had no effect on IFR. The combination of firm size, profitability, liquidity, leverage, and listing age had an effect on IFR.

Abstract

This research aim was to describe the location and the type of learning difficulties of the subject of Linear Program undergone by mathematics education student of the Catholic University of Widya Mandala Madiun.This study used a qualitative approach; the research subjects were students of mathematics education at the Catholic University of Widya Mandala Madiun taking Linear Program and had learning difficulties. The instruments used were diagnostic tests; students who obtained scores under 66 (minimum completeness) were categorized as students who were experiencing learning difficulties. The location of mathematics learning difficulties could be viewed based on the students’ mistakes in completing the diagnostic tests and confirmed through interviews. The research found that the location of mathematics learning difficulties undergone by the subjects were  factual knowledge of 11,85%,  conceptual knowledge of 14,81%, procedural knowledge of 37,04%, and metacognitive knowledge 36,30%. The types of mathematics learning difficulties experienced by subjects were 2,96% facts remembering difficulty, 8,15% facts understanding difficulty, 0,74% facts researching difficulty, 8,89% concepts remembering difficulty, 4,44% concept understanding difficulty, 1,48% concept applying difficulty, 3,7% procedure applying difficulty, 12,59% procedure analyzing difficulty, 11,11% procedure evaluating difficulty, 9,63% procedure researching difficulty, and 36,3% metacognitive communicating difficulty.

Abstract

The objective of the research was to figure out the impact of interpersonal communication relationship on the student acievement motivation with the self-concept as the mediating variable. This research examined the direct effect of self-concept on the student achievement motivation, the direct effect of interpersonal communication on the student achievement motivation, and the indirect effect of interpersonal communication on the student achievement motivation. The object of the research was the 3rd semester students of Business Administration study program, State Polytechnic of Madiun in 2015. The data of the research were based on the number of population. The data used were primary and secondary data. The data were analized using multiple regression with SPSS. This research indicated that the interpersonal communication had direct effect on the self-concept. This self-concept directly affected the student achievement motivation. The result of this research also indicated that the interpersonal communication only indirectly affected the student achievement motivation through the self-concept.

Abstract

ABSTRACT In this global era, Indonesia society are facing a crisis of values and character. It's seen from increasing cases of rape, fights, rustling, drugs, alcohols, conflict of inter-religious, ethnics, racial, etc. The complexity of this problem must be balanced with incessant instill of religious values. Based on the background of the problems above, the purpose of this study was to know the figures and characterization analysis and also presentation forms of religious education values in novel "Surat Kecil Untuk Tuhan" works by Agnes Davonar. This study used a qualitative approach. According to the research, found that the character of figures in the novel "Surat Kecil Untuk Tuhan", delivered by the author dramatically through figures conversation, figures thought and figures act or behavior. The main character was Keke who has vibrant, smart, steadfast and unyielding character. The additional figure was Jodi who responsibility, wise, patient and unyielding too. The next was fully attentive Andi, Kiki who attentive and smart, There were faithfull and obedient Mr. Iyus, Bibi was fully attentive, wise Prof. Lukman and friendly Prof. Muklis. Not left behind, Keke's friends such Fadha who's confident and 'tomboy', active Shifa, shy girl Maya and Idha, genius Andini also Adhinda who's noisy and spoiled. Form of religious values presented by author through the figures in the novel "Surat Kecil Untuk Tuhan". Religious values seen is diligent worship, obedient, surrender and gratefull.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas  Black English yang digunakan dalam novel A Raisin in the Sun karangan Lorraine Hansberry. Di sini Black English dikaji untuk (1) mendeskripsikan fitur-fitur yang menyimpang dari aturan sintaksis baku dan (2) mencari padanan fitur-fitur tersebut dalam bahasa Inggris baku. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif-kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dengan teknik dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode distribusional dengan beberapa teknik, seperti delisi, substitusi, permutasi, dan insersi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa konstruksi Black English yang menyimpang dari aturan-aturan sintaksis baku secara khas ditandai oleh fitur-fitur: (a) specific tense and aspect markers, (b) the use of ain’t as a general negative indicator, (c) the use of double/multiple negation, (d) copula deletion, (e) simplification of  present continuous construction, (f) the use of invariant be, (g) misuse and missing of suffix –s or –es, (h) the use of it to replace the existential there, dan (i) the use of uninflected was. Di antara fitur-fitur tersebut,  penggunaan ain’t sebagai a general negative indicator dan double/multiple negation merupakan ciri-ciri struktur Black English yang paling banyak menyimpang dari aturan sintaksis baku. Terkait padanannya dalam bahasa Inggris baku,  semua fitur Black English tersebut memiliki bentuk yang sesuai baik secara gramatika maupun secara semantis.

Abstract

The research aims to learn the relationship betwen effects of disciplinary education of the air force Indonesian National Armed Force toward male students stress. The subject of thr research is male students of Semaba. Measurement tool that is used is the scale. The analysis of regression using SPSS 18 version program becomes the method of data analysis. According to the analysis, correlation p = 0,010 (p<0,05). It shows that there is effects of disciplinary educatian toward male studentr stress. From the analysis it can be concluded that the variable of disciplinary education can be used as the predictor to predict male students stress of Semaba.

Abstract

Drug Related Problems (DRPs) is an unexpected incident patients experience consequences or unforeseen consequences could potentially interfere with drug therapy to therapy outcomes. Dengue Haemorhagic Fever (DHF) is one of disease  that occur in children and have a great chance to be the occurrence of DRPs. This study was aimed at determining the percentage of DRPs. This study was designed using non-experimental descriptive method with retrospective data collection obtained from medical records of DHF patients at RSUD Madiun from January to February 2015. The number of pediatric patients diagnosed with DHF was 58 patients and the number of samples fulfilling the inclusion criteria was 31 patients. The result showed that there were 4 categories out of 8 DRPs categories; they were untreated indication (31,25%), drug use without indication (15,63%), improper drug selection, (6,25%) and under dosage (21,88%).

Abstract

The motorcycle market offers payment by credit for the customers with different amount of money for the down payment, the installment payment and the period of installment payment. However, the customers do not get clear information about how much interest rate they should pay. This research was conducted to find the interest rates on motorcycle loans in Madiun. The method applied in this research was by calculating the interest rates on motorcycle loans in Madiun. The data were taken from the motorcycle credit list brochures given by the dealer, in which each brand of motorcycle was represented by one brochure. Moreover, they provided the lowest price, highest price and midle price for installment payment of one month, two months and three years. Based on the calcualtion of interest credit rate, the average of the loan interest rates were quite high. Kawasaki motorcycle had the average of loan interest rates which were lower than many other motorcycles with different brands. The other four motorcycles, the highest of the loan interest rate comes to the loan with the lowest installment payment of one year. The longer payment period the lower of credit interest will be. The dealer was supposed to give better information about the offered loan interest rate so that people had many choiches in deciding what motorcycles they would buy wether in cash or credit.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyze the impact of satisfaction, trust and perceived value of the commitment and quality of service. The population in students SMK Gamaliel 1 Madiun using stratified sampling. The results showed satisfaction and trust variables significant positive effect on the commitment being perceived value does not affect the commitment. Variable trust and commitment and significant positive effect on loyalty, while the variable quality of service, satisfaction and perceived value has no effect on loyalty.

Abstract

The research purpose was to obtain empirical evidences on the factors influencing the auditor performance with the auditor independence and the organizational commitment as the intervening variables. The research population was auditors working in the firm of auditors in central java. The samples were 28 auditors. The results showed that the understanding of good governance did not affect the performance of auditors but affected the independence of auditors. The leadership style did not affect the auditor performance or the organizational commitment. The organizational culture did not affect the auditor performance or the organizational commitment. The independence affected the performance of auditors. The organizational commitment affected the auditor performance. The understanding of good governance having an indirect effect on auditor performance through auditor independence was proven. The leadership style having an indirect effect on auditor performance through organizational commitment was not proven. The organizational culture having an indirect effect on auditor performance through organizational commitment was not proven.
